    To make the use of the jig smoother. Cut the gauge block from HDPE or if you can find it UHMW. Both highly dense plastics with a high glide surface. You really don’t want to be fighting your work piece while leaning over a saw.

    BEST explanation I've ever seen. One missing bit is if the joints are too loose or too tight, how to adjust the cut.

      If anyone is wondering:
      Too tight joint = Pin closer to blade
      Too loose joint = Pin away from blade
      Adjustments are best made with pieces of paper, they are very small

    Nice Video. The one Video that I have seen, was they used square cut saw blades together but they had a rubber spacer itn between them to keep the two blades moving and the tips hitting each other to prevent the tip Flying off. Is there a ridge on the blades to prevent the tip from hitting?

    good video but you never addressed how to adjust the jig if your joints are too loose or tight after the test cuts.

      Check out "The router workshop". They use brass set up blocks and it is a superior way to do this.

      @@Belg1970 probably. They used to be on PBS every saturday and if you search youtube you should be able to find them.
