Another hit from one of my favorite bands. Beautiful vocals, violins, and guitar melodies. There are some nice subtle hints from their Tristesse era in the dark folky/medieval atmosphere.
Have been a big fan of funeral for a long while now, and listen to every album multiple times, but this album is something else. Already my favorite funeral album and favorite album for the year so far. Amazing album. Keep on doom💀🪦⚰️
What a shame. I just can't get into the new singer and the new sound of funeral. I still love From these wounds and Oratorium. Praesentialis was good though. Where are the great melodies....? Huge dissapointment 😢

The greatest album from this band - hands down. A monument! A masterpiece! So heavy, dark and epic! LOVE IT! 🤩

The music immediately reminded me of Therion. I didn't really like this symphonic doom music. Their older singers were better.
This is a lot like Secret Of the Runes by Therion, nordic metal but heavier.
