The comment " we will never know the truth " is simply what happens when you love someone so much you remain in denial at least publicly. The truth was obviously proved by 60 or so women.
@My TV right 60 plus women who don't know each other , plus his long time assistant all got together and concocted a conspiracy that landed him in jail. Plus, when he admitted in the first court case that he liked to give women drugs that didn't matter. Here's a clue OJ did it, and Cosby preferred having sex with women who could not say no, and there's no Santa Claus. Sorry to bust your bubble.
Vincent Brown - you phrased that appropriately. Probably very difficult to reconcile the Bill Cosby that he knew with the allegations that are now so public and almost certainly true.
Vincent Brown, if a woman approaches you, and your rich and famous, as a man we have an agenda, as a woman, they want all of your money, and if you don’t receive it, you cry wolf... Can’t fault a man for loving women...
@@JakeDavidLeeSeeBach I try always to respect people's opinions, but this is one of the craziest replies ever that has nothing to do with what Bill Cosby did, was proven to do despite a top legal team , and what he admitted to doing. 59 of those women got no money and sought none.
@@TeachAManToAngle the truth is hard to deny and it is something all humans do. When we love someone we actually see them as we want them to be and not necessarily as they really are. Cosby was an American Icon, a Black Hero,an Industry leader, helped a gazillion people who worked with him , and was helped by his money and power and what they learned from him. Of course, he was loved by Malcolm and by many. If a hundred women came forward with videos of him sexually abusing them the people who love him would still deny it . Some would no doubt respond " well you know today they can doctor videos ". We appreciate Cosby for what he gave the World publicly, but should understand that many people who have done great things have a dark and bad side. Despite being in a position to have consensual sex all day every day with more women than most men who have lived he obviously had a fetish for just " taking it " and that's something no one is allowed to do to even 1 person.
I can see the pain in his eyes. The one of betrayal and confusion. The one that doesn't want to believe these incidents happened. So he tries to compensates with words, but it is his eyes that is telling the true story.
I love how he listens to him and let's him speak. It's not very comment to see an interview where they listen and let the person speak. I don't care to watch the female talk shows because it's not a talk show. It's a "Who can talk the loudest and get their point across while cutting others off" show. I personally dontind debates, and having conversations, and hearing different perspectives and how other people feel about a subject. What I don't like is when it becomes a competition and turns into a "well you're wrong so I am going to prove you wrong" situation instead of opening your mind up to different points of view, and if you don't agree, then to respect the other person's view. They have a right just as much as you do to feel how they feel. I have this problem worth a LOT of my friends, granted they are all teenagers (I am 17), and I can't have a serious or meaningful conversation without it turning into an argument or someone's feelings gets hurt and they personally attack me or someone else in the group. I have found some teens that are like me and we can have these kinds of discussions. You just have to know who you can and can't talk to about certain things, and I am sorry to say but in my honest opinion, these female talk shows are mostly contests to me and not seriously sitting down and having a civil and adult conversation. As a young woman I have to set an example for other kids my age and for my little sisters. My mom raised me this way and I am grateful for it. Woah.....I just realized how long this comment is😂😂😂
tbh no actor likes to be typecasted and stuck in a character that is actually what has held him back. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air cast feels the same way including Will Smith - he says no matter what he does people associate him with the show even with his level of success . it is hard for actors. Being on an iconic show with an iconic cast and playing an iconic character is a curse and blessing both at the same time
I don't think it's held MJW back from some great movie career. He has done much better than a lot of other former child stars. But he was never what I consider to be a great actor. He was great as Theo, but it was hardly a challenging role. I think Cosby actually had the toughest part routinely going from goofball to responsible parent. He really did carry the show.

The show was part of a great era of excellent artistry in entertainment with a subtle message which was never heavy handed, but truthful. The cast of the Cosby Show is an exceptional group of people and I will continue to look at it from that perspective. Man it had the finest guest stars of their time through out the whole series. It’s all just sad and hard to take because one way or the other there will never be closure and Malcom is right on target for putting it in that context. I feel bad for him as he spent his youth growing up being mentored by Mr. Cosby. He himself is has always had it together and I sure wish him all the best. It's strange that he responded to "Have you lost feelings for him?" with "No, not at all!"

Cuz he knew he wasn't getting out and it was a plea deal behind closed doors
He was found guilty in 2018. He was sentenced to 3 to 10 years.
I think we do know the truth and Cosby was convicted. Over 50 women know the truth.
Woah.....I just realized how long this comment is😂😂😂
Long comment but meaningful.. You have been raised well.

All you talking about how cute he is rather then him defending Cosby and saying all these women lied

He did not want to hear that lol.
tbh no actor likes to be typecasted and stuck in a character that is actually what has held him back. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air cast feels the same way including Will Smith - he says no matter what he does people associate him with the show even with his level of success . it is hard for actors. Being on an iconic show with an iconic cast and playing an iconic character is a curse and blessing both at the same time
though it’s true despite the fact that the show concluded 28 years ago
Vanity is expensive!
I would love to see a spin-off where Theo took the lead.
Your wish is my command:

After more than 60 women came forward, you cannot say we will never know what really happened.
I agree, and I expected to see more negative comments, both for the part in which he says we will never know the truth and the fact that he's talking about it like it's some unfortunate persecution which the poor man is going through. He's the one going through a lot? Not the women he abused?
Clearly Theo has picked the side of his Dad🤭.
Some of those women could be lying.

The man took away the legacy from his co-workers. There is a huge responsibility of being a "role model". You become interconnected to people who look up to you. To not be what people expect is a huge disappointment. I hope those on the show get a fair treatment to not be judged by association but to be taken seriously for their individual talent.
As a white young boy I would watch the Cosby show on Nick at Night until I fell asleep. I loved it so much, Bill Cosby lives with me how he was then and always will. No matter what has "surfaced".
Malcolm you held your own in this convo. These tv host always trying to get other to speak bad about someone else. I love how you handle it without speaking ill about Bill Cosby
I still want a spin-off called The Huxtables revolving around him as a Father and his family. His “sisters” and “Mom” could make guest appearances here and there too. Bill Cosby’s disgusting behavior should not completely destroy the legacy and the positive impact the show had on the black community

Its hurt and or disappointed a lot of people for reasons that we will never know.

Salute to Malcolm for keeping it solid!
Dear Black Man,
If and when you ever have the honorable privilege of become a pillar in “OUR” community... “This” community... stick with God, stay extremely humble, and lastly but most importantly don’t let the fame go to your head in such a way you’ll find yourself treating human life as disposable! ....especially women and children of the same community you’re a pillar of!!!! Don’t do it Black/Brown man.
"Sad" is the word, alright. Bill Cosby was everyone's "dad" for so long. Such a sad way to end such an amazing career.
But he home now!
@High Duck You hit the nail on the head! I just said the exact same thing to my best friend, and have always said it! They have been trying to destroy Dr. Cosby ever since he wanted to buy NBC! Killing his son didn't bring him down, so they kept trying until they thought they could smear his name and his legacy. EPIC FAIL! Dr. Cosby is FREE! and his legacy is one of talent, education and strength! Peace.

Jamal - PLEASE re-do the Cosby Show and play the Dad yourself this time. The show did so much good and helped bring families together. I can't imagine raising my kids without a show like that .... and there's nothing else like it. What Bill did in the dark should NOT take away from the positive things he did ... and he did a lot of positive things. Not in anyway condoning what he did in the dark. REmake the show and play the Dad this time. Just beware of the pitfalls that come with fame and fortune.
