This is my first time hearing about this today I just discovered this just now on best buy wow! I'm impressed how technology has changed I already know about samsung watches but sunglasses as bluetooth audio wow fucking dope bro
I actually live in Colorado where it is sunny any bright from snow depending on the season. I ordered these because I walk my dogs twice a day and have tired of making my phone a little boom box. I usually have my hands full and would have liked you to go more in-depth about the personal assistant function and demonstrate it. Over all a bit dry, but good review and I am confident that they are for me!
Just found your channel, cool stuff! I usually use AirPods and they’ve never fallen out whether I’m running/cycling/skateboarding, but I do get the issue of sweat getting into my ear during long bikes/runs, so I might have to give these a go. Thanks for the review!
That was a good review. I would add: My use case is that I use these for running in Florida with the multiple lens packages, and as I travel throughout the U.S. I couple them with a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 LTE. That combination allows me to use the glasses to answer or make necessary calls for safety or family purposes. I was surprised that the microphone also works very well for calls. The only "nit" that I have is that changing out the lenses takes a little practice. The review point on the Bose app required also is spot on - annoying and unnecessary. But, bottom line - yes expensive - what isn't? Very practical and effective solution. Leave the phone at home. Keep an ear open for safety on your runs. Enjoy your music. And have your running app announce your progress, and key metrics. Sure beats the days when we use to run with the old walkman's and wired earphones! Amazing that these technologies are available. :))
The app isn't needed for setup, just things like firmware updates, changing voice prompt language, and customizing power settings - they pair just fine as a regular Bluetooth audio device.
Thanks, glad it helped :) They're def good for cycling, and as someone else pointed out in a comment, most cyclists wear the glasses over helmet straps so won't have the problem I did with the straps setting off the controls! (I'm too used to wearing glasses all the time and always just put helmet on over the top)
Hi I know I should haha, but I wear normal glasses most of the time and just in the habit of putting helmet on over them. But yes, this would solve the issues!
Can you please do something about your audio? You are talking so softly that you're barely audible. Plus I'm sorry to say but the mumbling speech does not help one bit. I'm sorry just constructive feedback.
(Kieran here), I thought that too when Nick got them to test. But I tried them out myself recently and they're actually far more regular than I'd imagined. Oddly quite satisfying. Though with shades mash-ups there's always that problem of having enough styles to cater for tastes. The sound is solid though. And they're lighter than they look too. I was surprised that I actually liked them a lot.

Found your video very helpful. Ordered some off Amazon when they arrive. I’m going to get prescription glass put on them

Excellent review! Answered most of my questions. I might get these for cycling.

Agreed. Seems like a niche product for people who are lucky enough to live in sunny weather year round!
waves from arizona
Well sign me up, cus i live in Maui, Hawaii...lol
Perfect for Devon weather 🤣🤣🤣 I’ll order two pairs for my running on Dartmoor
Brisbane here, I just ordered mine haha. I live with sunglasses on, even ‘winter’ here is sunny, just cooler.
I never downloaded the app, works fine.
The assistant touch panel shouldn't be a problem for cycling, cause your wearing the glasses over the helmet.😉
True! I never do this though, 20 years of wearing normal glasses means ingrained habit is helmet going on last
@@TheRunTesters bad for you, now where the glasses start to get touch panels XD
As of this week you can get them for $125. If you were previously on the fence the time is now.
Can you also do a comparison video for the best armband phone cases in the market right now for people who are planning on running with their phones?
Hi Eli, we’d almost certainly all recommend the FlipBelt over any armband.
Hello mate,
Can you pair them to Apple Watch without the phone so you can run without taking your phone.?
Thanks for the review
Yes, they are bluetooth
Being annoyed in the leading pack by music leakage...what about being annoyed by runners in the leading pack with go pros 😄😄
You said more than once about your cycling helmet kept setting off Siri. You ever try wearing them outside your helmet straps?
Hi I know I should haha, but I wear normal glasses most of the time and just in the habit of putting helmet on over them. But yes, this would solve the issues!
You need bose app to prevent counterfeit bose product mate😉
So which lens is good for low light?
Can anyone around me hear what the other person is saying on the phone when I use this for phone calls?

Feedback is gratefully received.
Great review, will not buy these after this review, thank you
Watch the video in .75 playback speed.
Thank me later. Lol.
Does it reveal some kind of hidden Satanic message? Or the lottery numbers?
epic
who else watched some of the video through his apple watch on his wrist... or just me
You hardly need them in Europe, ie sunglasses. Better save your money for your next running shoes.
They look ridiculous!...lol
