This episode shattered me into a million pieces and I'll never fking be the same.... I hope you enjoy reliving your trauma with me cause THIS EPISODE WAS NOT OKAY and I'm not okay.
Welcome to the club, flexie 😢
Girl sammee😓
I love you Flexie. I send you strength for this episode and the next. We all had the same devastating feeling with these parts.
trust me in a few episodes you'll be VERY happy
My sweet summer child, It's far from over. Welcome to the Game Of Thrones of Anime. No one is safe. Hold on till the end of the season. We're right here with you.
It’s like Nanami said: Jujutsu sorcerers are shit. They expect you to walk over your dead comrades without even time to mourn.
Gojo did say it on the second episode, you'd be lucky if they could even find your body and how loss is just a daily thing that happens in the Jujutsu world,
I think people sometimes forgot he said that
being a sorcerer is actually dangerous. its not like being a ninja in naruto or soul reaper in bleach.
@@nullakjg767being a ninja in Naruto is actually dangerous tho? People die, even if its just background characters for the most part
@@nullakjg767 random ninjas die all the time in Naruto 😭 Gaara already had multiple people on shirts by the time he was introduced and off screens a few people, the point of the show is that the ninja world is a never ending cycle of death and hatred And asuma is literally the only time they’ve had an entire arc dedicated to them and it was more dedicated to shikamaru if anything. The only time anyone got revived is during the pain arc. You can’t say they never do something and then try and take away every example I could provide like the characters in this show don’t get big emotional send offs, even Jogo got one 😭
@@nullakjg767 I literally just said “even if they’re background characters” moving the goal posts 💀 ain’t my fault you watched Naruto through clips lmao. You don’t see them say anything unkind because they’re trying to maintain the peace and most of the characters we see besides Kakashi and Guy weren’t alive when they were still at war. They weren’t acting happy go lucky when they found out Jiriya died fighting pain, What about when Obito kills Konan to get Nagato’s eyes? Let’s take it all the way back to when Haku sacrificed himself to save Zabuza all for a paycheck that was never coming… Not feeling it and it not being there are two different things. It’s still a tv show for kids, you’re supposed to enjoy it not feel uneasy the whole time you’re watching it
"It's just not even fun anymore" fucking accurate for the second half of season 2
fucking accurate for the last 150 chapters of the manga
Wait since when was jujutsu kaisen fun
@@s.2685well… I guess first 5 minutes of season 1, and then the actual jjk starts
@Tema17470 I mean think it was all fun until the end of the flashback where the vessel girl died. We had serious situations but no real loss
After next episode i legit dropped the show. This shit was too much man. What do i even have to look forward to in it
The fact that Nanami, while 3/4’s in the grave was still worried about saving Megumi, Maki, and Naobito just speaks volumes to what an amazing guy he was. Also I heard the VA for Nanami knew it was his last time in the booth so he literally broke down voicing these lines, what dedication to the character 💔
There’s video of him in the studio. It’s holding back tears with the last line
Look at what you've done Gege. She's sad 😢
MEANWHILE Gege in Present : I like it let me just kill everyone 🙃❤
Gege rn:😎✌
@@Anix09461Gege in the manga You are my special but worst
@Anix09461 this is exactly what he'd do
hahaha
Yeaaaa...it's that ep... I love your look of shock when Mahito yelled back at Yuji, the VA did an amazing job
you understood the subjugation ritual correctly, and gojo did say the last person like him was killed by the last person like megumi! love the videos!
JJK doesn't show much of the of day-to-day lives of the characters, but we're led to believe Nanami became the main mentor and possibly even a father figure to Yuji, which makes this episode even sadder. Nanami also liked Yuji from the start, probably because he reminded him much of Haibara, since both have that upbeat relaxed personality. Gege really stabbed our hearts with this one.
Its okay flexie, this is the happiest episodes we will see from now on.
dam you did not have to tell her the truth so fast
@@Meme_Slayer9000he's right tho
@@Meme_Slayer9000aye cool pfp
This episode is such a killer... I was so devastated after it as well :'(
I love your reactions so much, you're so emotionally intelligent and catch all the little things the authors intend. It's very refreshing to see someone fully grasp the emotional impacts ♥
I just want you to remember: GEGE is the main villain of JJK. As a manga reader, this is just the beginning of the pain. Gege is the type of person who will make us suffer with painful deaths like this. I actually cried when I saw Nanami's death even though I was prepared😞😭😭😭😭
Your talk about horror elements in the beggining of the video reminded me that Gege, the author of jjk, actually wanted the series to be more of a horror initially.
It getting a high school setting and the shounen elements it has were all editors' suggestions.
Damn i would have loved to see a more non shonen horror take of jjk
Such an expressive yet genuine reaction to this show is a treasure on reaction yt. FOR SURE looking at your other vids too
The most painful part about Nanami's death is that he left his simple life because he felt empty and unfulfilled. But the reason why Haibara ( Nanami's deceased friend ) points at Itadori in the end after Nanami asks why he came back is because he did find fulfillment in the work finally, after all that time. There was something worthwhile in it, not only helping people and feeling the sheer gratitude of someone thanking you, but also there are people within it like Yuji who made him feel that not all hope is lost despite the cycle of curses.
It's ok. Mai Mai went to Malaysia for him.
Mahito telling Yuji to use his inside voice is truly villainous stuff and i love it
You are the first reactor who understood yujis pain and anger other reactor were just angry over nanami’s death
Oh my god I got a like thank you so much
^ 💀
@@korone3538 what??
Mahito's VA deserves a standing ovation this season MVP
You are a trooper. You held out really well during the reaction much better than me.
You're not alone 😭 at least we're experiencing the same pain together, hopefully we'll recover from it
At least he Went Out Dancing, and looking Fabulous.
At least half of him did
💀
@@BOoodaAh Good. Dark humor is good.
@@Akshay_PJO we all gotta cope somehow
@@denkerbosu3551 Dude, dark humor is my way of coping with life in general
For me, being a little league coach irl on the weekends, I related to Nanami so much in the sense of being that elder statesman-like figure and really looking out for the younger generation (plus his over time gag hit me, like at my corporate job im literally him 😂)
sensei & parental figure characters always tend to be my favorites in anime and for JJK he absolutely was mine.
i cried when i first saw this episode 😢
While I wait for the continuation, I follow it with excitement and sadness, I get a different feeling every time I watch it.
one of the most perfectly executed scenes in anime history..... hats off
So Nanami was only supposed to lose a arm, but around the time he was making this, GeGe was talking to his friend who just so happens to be the creator of Chainsaw Man and he told em sometimes you gotta kill your creations for the betterment of a story no matter how much you love em. And welp, here ya go.
So the Chainsaw Man creator is responsible for the last 150 chapters of utter bs happening in the manga? 😂
Its like yuki talking to geto
@@Smasher151 Yeah, the person giving the talk had good intentions, or at the very least, didn't realize what shenanigans the listener was gonna do with that info.
@@Akshay_PJODiference is that fujimoto kill like, one or two main characters in moments that will strike you, gege Just went killing everyone, leaving the thing without good characters, resulting in a worse experience overall
@@otakinnoob8704 Exactly my friend, you have hit the nail on the head.
People actually created a memorial shrine for Nanami in Kuantan, Malaysia. Hope you find some solace in that.
Shibuya is pretty brutal emotionally 😭, such a game changer arc for the series. One thing I always note from this episode though is just how FANTASTIC the VAs for Yuji and Mahito are here. Such a chilling performance.
The indignation on your face when mahito started screaming back, 10/10 no notes.
i made the same exact face and then laughed bc like what am i surprised about?!
I thought good reacters are those that can come up with interesting discussions, it could be deep, it could just connecting what they see on screen to what they experienced, but damn this is an actual reactions. Awesome for you to be able to be this invested in a series.
"This is just torcher" is the most accurate statement for what Gege does to us viewers and we still come back to watch it.
Torture*
i have never see something misspelled so honestly and fantastically, thank you.
Awwww Flexii!!!! I TOTALLY FEEL YOU! 😭😭😭😭
Props to the VA, for real. You know a character is rly a deal, when you cant stop growing emotions for them. This happen to all of us, its rly one of the best show in a decade.
Fun fact. When you said you can feel Yuji's rage, the OST track playing is called, "With Rage".
So I think the whole thing with Haibara is that essentially Nanami's subconcious reminding him that Jujustu Sorcerors use thier pain for good. Much like Nanami (eventually) channelled the pain loss and guilt over Haibara's death to save people... He needed to help Yuji do the same. He knew he was dying, and part of him didn't want to curse Yuji because Nanami is a good guy. But also... he realised that Yuji could use that curse to beat the cursed spirits.
Its the weird dicotamy of Jujustu Sorcs. They might to do good, but to be powerful... they kind of need to be broken. The more negative emotions they can channel, the power they will be.
You have the right idea, Makora has been 'summoned' before, but only _for_ the ritual, nobody has ever been able to subjugate it and make it their own.
As depressing as it may be, this is a really beautiful episode. The sequence at the start does an amazing job of putting you in Itadori's frame of mind, and the art direction for Nanami's scene with the transitions and the piano, gorgeous.
And Mahito. God damn Mahito. He's such a good villain.
Sending you hugs. Its at this point that I turned to fanfics to alleviate the pain. Nanami deserved so much better.
I remember reading the manga before season 2... and the shibuya arc just took me on a wild ride... then they animated it... and i was blown away along with shibuya!
Ngl next episode gonna be eye popping good 🗿
When I tell you I sobbed loudly on this episode… 😭😭
They gave him a beautiful send off, but it’s still a send off of a great character. But the range of emotions we feel in this episode is incredible. Makes it realistic because we can’t finish processing one emotion and the situation. You summed it up beautifully.
I wanna give you a hug.🥹
He is the ultimate 9-5 working Dad.
27:03 Pause on this frame.
Look at those eyes, the eyes that have lost their glow, the eyes that are burning with rage and grief. You can feel that souless stare.... Gege this is your fault, stay strong Flexie, you're almost done
Mahito is so cool,It's very funny
Thanks a lot for the great reaction😭....enough....R.I.P. Nanamin🥺👃
Definitely i hoping next.😨
I'm in love with her reactions. Been a long time I found a reactor this good.
Personally this is what I like about JJK, it keeps me on edge about potentially losing any beloved character instead of them having a massive plot armor. It stings and hurts but it also makes us all that more invested in the story :] I hope you brace yourself for the rest of the season, it won't be easy but it won't be all gloom either!
Rip Nanami.
The VA for Nanami was really emotional knowing it was his character's death. Those screams of giving it everything he had on death's door....chills.
You should look up the video of the VA Kenjiro Tsuda doing these last lines for Nanami. It's heart breaking seeing how much he loved voicing this character while speaking those last lines.
The reason I watch you is for you genuine reactions to these shows. So many other channel feel fake or unfeeling. You can tell that your reactions are legit and you actually care about these shows and characters in them. I appreciate you.
This series deserves a new unique tag added to it called "Emotional Whiplash"
La verdad no hablo, ni entiendo mucho inglés pero me gustan mucho tus reacciones👀
fun fact : Malaysia gov does asking permission from the studio or the copyright holder to make a monument in "Kuantan" as tribute to Nanami. Not sure either it already approved or not yet.
Been waiting for your reactions for the episode! You felt exactly what I did when I first watched this 🤍🤍
Yay finally the episodes when my boy Mahito is just shining and runnin' wild 🙌
Oh, the misery... Everybody wants to be my enemy... (Gege singing)
AND GEGE, YOU FKIN DESERVE IT
He just wanted a house to read his books and live happily with his baker.
the ultimate MAN
Idk abt the baker, but I like to think he wasn't a complete lone wolf. Even though he probably would have been XD
@@Akshay_PJO I’m sure he had the rizz he just didn’t have the time 😢
@@nimbusws2566 Lol yeah, Nanami the sorta guy who'd get a wife at like 35 years old
Instead Mai Mai gets the house in Malaysia.
YES YES FEEL EMOTIONS!!!!
Fun fact: Nanami is the author’s favorite character and originally he was only supposed to lose an arm but the author felt it was best to end Nanami’s story here.
awwwwwwwww dont cry :(
Next episode gonna be MINDBLOWING
I think this is bad but I can't help but laugh when I saw her reaction. Because months ago, I was just like her. It's like I found yet another one to feel my pain
Gege: I hope you like character development 😂
she saw what happened to nanami 💀
mahitos va 😂😍 needs a oscar
Flexie: How much more is this poor kid gonna be put through?
Gege(author): Oh since you asked, much more
As much as I hate mahito. His VA goes off this episode and the rest of this season.
A Real reaction from all of us.
The battles are so hype in this arc, but the emotional impact is almost too much to handle when you really take in what's happening to all these poor people who just wanted to help the world be a safer and better place. Another thing the author showed that really hits home is that Nanami selflessly fought for his and several others lives and shelved his dream of going to Malaysia to relax, meanwhile, Mei mei gives almost zero F's for anything besides money and she went to Malaysia in a matter of seconds on a whim to save her own hide and barely appreciated any of it or cared much for anyone, when she was one of the most powerful players in the Shibuya battle and could have made a huge difference safely with Bird strike and communications. It's almost a slap in the face (actually it totally is one).
YES! The outro is depressing LOL. All the things Yuuji couldn't say to those he loved...
But wait, there's MORE! (indescribable sadness that is)
Im genuinelly concerned for this girls mental health there is so much more to come😢
Please forgive the author.
Experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake in his childhood.
3.11 (2011)
His house was swept away by the tsunami and many people died.
The technique used by Mahito reminds me of those people who died.
The emotional scars of these people are the source of his creation.
For him, it may be healing to express these scars in a different way through creation.
I am sorry that the story has hurt you.
Please don't take it too hard.
Never ending pain and trauma is Yuji’s character development
From Shibuya onwards, there is no happy ending...
NOT THE SMALL FAN 😂
This episode was so sad, but I’m sure absolutely nothing bad will happen next episode
Half cooked Namami
This is Gege - Sensei's masterpiece that means every major character are not safe to die !!! 😥
He just loves to give his readers/anime watchers Depression Despair Lost of Hope Sadness Emptiness and lots of Tears
3:30 As Gojo said, Gojo clan and Zenin clan have beef between them because the heads of the two houses killed each other one time. One had the Limitless and Six Eyes, just like Satoru, and the other had the 10 shadows... so yeah, the Zenin head summoned Mahoraga and said "good luck" XD
Obviously I'm way late, but here's my two cents on the 10 shadows taming:
The user starts with control of the dogs only and has to defeat each of the other 9 shikigami in the taming ritual to gain control of them, but they have to defeat them on their own (they can use their already tamed shikigami of course) without other sorcerers' help for it to actually count. The intuitive application is to first do the ritual with allies who can help you if the taming is harder than you can comfortably handle and do it alone once you grow confident you can beat the shikigami reliably on your own. Since others don't need to agree to be part of the ritual, you can drag them into it and the shikigami will keep attacking until it or all participants die.
On a bit of a tangent, it seems to be implied that this trick could be spammed if it doesn't work the first time since the taming ritual can be repeated any number of times until the user completes it on their own.
Dont worry! Things will turn around next episode! Ik this ep was a sad one and it may affect your feelings of the show, but just keep looking forward, next episode will finally be a happy one amidst this darkness!
We've been telling u don't get emotionally attach with characters of jjk. GEGE is evil than SUKUNA.😭😭🔥🔥
Stay strong ❤
Nanami😭 this is the episode that broke me ...
I think its very much poinient to highlight that the main theme of JJK is "Dying a proper death", and always has been from episode one, with Yuji's grandpa being unsatisfied with his, and calling for Yuji to have a proper death.
Same girl same! 😂 This episode makes me cry every single time. When you said Honey! It reminded me of the meme: Honey you gotta big storm coming! 😂😂 The reason I love this show so much is because it can bring you through all these emotions. Anybody can make a show with cheesy characters that fight with no stakes behind it. But this show is just so good because it does the opposite.
This episode is why I can't hear the word Shibuya without having nightmares
Worst part of the end of season 2 is the fact you don't get closure, at all with anything that's happened, you have no clue what happened to the main cast, who lived and who died.. no closure, there's just a cliffhanger that anime only viewers have to wait until late 2025 to find out about.
Also, Maki's death was crazy and I don't even know if she's alive or how she even could be, its nuts because they set up the sisters and I thought there was going to be something with them eventually, but if she's just dead its crazy they set all that up for nothing.
This makes me fear for Demon Slayer, these animes with a mix of comedy, horror and action lull you into a false sense of security, there's no way something bad can happen to this person whose doing a silly funny thing one second ago.
I really feel with you, your reacting exactly how i felt watching IT 4 the First time😢❤
I'm just waiting for the moment he arrives and her response.
Gege swimming in the tears of his readers like 😭😭🏊♀🏊♀

🗣️🔥💯
You are not ready for the next episode 😞
The pfp is crazy funny
Pain
Gege does not care about us
Oh...nono nonono she's not gonna be ok nonono
A cool fact is that the last n in Nanamin, is typically used to express a nickname in a cutesy and childlike manner, so it was yuji allowing himself to stay a child and express the admiration he has for Nanami this whole season, even during the last time he saw him lol
It's not even fun anymore really embodies this arc
"Oh my god this is the worst" is the quintessential JJK experience, it's such a rollercoaster ride
I remember when and where I was when I read the chapter where Nanamin dies. It was in 2021. When this episode came out, I cried again. I’m sorry for your lost here.
After this episode whenever I heard the opening I imagine that vine of that girl cry dancing in the mirror lmao
