The amount of pain and suffering Jesus went through before and during crucifixion would have been so immeasurably unbearable and he still showed no hatred or loathing towards the people doing these awful things to him. his only words regarding what they were doing was "Forgive them farther for they know not what they are doing". the sheer mental fortitude to not show a flicker of spite or anger towards people like that is unreachable for anyone but God himself, it is truly remarkable.
Jesus created his own body and entered into it and was fully man and fully God but he came under all the same conditions of temptation for all sins we experience but he was tempted in the hardest times when it was easiest to fall to that temptation and every time he used scripture to combat evil. @@CalebTheSeeker

I identify as a Christian by that meaning solely. I am not a Morman or a JW. Primarily because we see in John 17:11 Jesus prayed and asks his Father to make the disciples of Jesus "one" in the same way Jesus and His Father are one: "...Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one." This shows us that, one day, Jesus and all his followers (including you and me) will be one with God just as Jesus is. Then Jesus double downs on this statement a few verses later in verse 22 “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one." Logically, this tells us that even though one day we will ALL be one with God in His Kingdom, this does not make us the One True God. If being one with God is not exclusive to God, then it is not a claim to be God. Many people think that when Jesus said 'Before Abraham was, I am" that this was a God-claim. But the Greek words "ego eimi" literally just mean 'I am" and is not the name of God or a claim to be God since it is used in everyday Greek language to say "I am." We can see from the story of a blind man Jesus heals who uses the same words "ego eimi" to identify himself to the people who ask "is this the same man who was a blind begger?" This can be found in John 9. So why did Jesus say " Before Abraham was, I am"? Jesus was speaking to the Jews - who were expecting from the prophecies hundreds of years old - for a King to come from the line of David and restore David's throne over Isreal. Jesus was claiming to be this Messiah that was prophesied to the Jews from the time before Abraham. "Before Abraham was, I am." You also brought up John 3:16 which does not state that God humbled himself and took on sin, but that He sent His Only Begotten Son to do so. Eternal life is obtained through knowing the One True God and believing that He sent His Son to pay the price of your sins upon the cross, and that God raised him from the dead.
