    Great editting Bill and another great film! When Norman walks down from Eastcliff bridge the train station in the back ground is West Drayton train station, Tinmouth Times was a cinema in Beaconsfield, the Keir Hardy estate is in Maidenhead. Westminster train station was actually Kilburn tube station. Thanks Bill for the hard work and keep them coming.

    A nice compilation Bill, it just shows you how much has changed but also how much has stayed the same. The frightening thing is that those 'kids' will now be in their sixties! I bet it feels like yesterday to them sometimes.

    Hi Bill, Great compilation of one of my favourite films. I have watched it loads of times and wonder how they missed the number of the bus changing during the bike chase from 22 to 23!!
    Was the lady Mayor's house located in Teignmouth? If so, is it still there?
    Finally, when Norman is walking down the bridge after arriving in Tinmouth, I think I noticed the bus was parked down on the right in what I think you mentioned was a cark park before the Lido was built. Have a look. .

      Hi Chris, yes I think you are correct - That is the bus in the car park - Perhaps they commandeered the area as a staging area for the filming? As for the location of the house, that's along the river, Shaldon side in Ringmore - Probably still there, but not 100% sure exactly where it is👍

    Do you know why they used a Bournemouth bus, shown with a Bournemouth destination board and the number changing from 22 to 23 ?

    • @BillsPhoneTeignmouth
      @BillsPhoneTeignmouth  9 месяцев назад

      🤣 Hi Mark - Never noticed the number changing! So it does! 🤣 As for the reason for a Bournemouth bus, I haven't got a clue, over and above that it was a bus owned by the movie studios that they used? No deeper meaning as far as I'm aware, but thanks for pointing the number change out! I wont be able to unsee that now 👍👍👍
