Nice video and Clive is very knowledgeable giving info not heard before, a good man to have by one's side especially along the seawall weeeeee, lovely 👏
Hi Bill, that was a nice walk and drone flight too boot. You had a nice day but a shame about the wind cutting the flight short. See you tomorrow mate. 👍👍👍
Thanks Rob 👍 Glad you enjoyed it - More like that to come but with Andy, and with the addition of a set of Wireless mics - You'll see all that in upcoming vids 👍👍👍
Yes, Clive will be back again next year, and we are doing a walk that he is choosing next time - I also now have a set of Wireless mics! I tested them with Andy (As you'll see in next Sundays History filled video of Dawlish) and they work a treat! So when Clive returns every word he says will be as clear as my own 👍👍👍
I enjoyed that bill clive knows his stuff and holcombe is interesting yay swan solo has returned 😀, if only he could talk he could tell you where hes been
Hello Bill fabulous walk . Lovely to hear you and Clive chatting away . Oh that's any Holcombe pretty love the thatched cottages . Great drone footage and the then and nows Bill . Ooh yummy a sausage bap very kind of Clive to treat you . Enjoyed your seawall walk to finish . Stay safe Bill see you tomorrow love to both you and Mum ❤😊xx
Cheers Kieran - Clive works on the railway, so certainly does know what he is talking about 👍 Unfortunately, the Swan Solo info proved fruitless - I went down the next day, and no sign of him - Still haven't seen him since last year 👍
Hi Bill, we were the subscribers you met at Salty Dog, (Barbara, Dave and Pat). It was lovely to meet you, and Clive, as we enjoy your videos each day. I hope you found Swan Solo at Polly Steps, as I had spotted him from Shaldon Bridge the day before. Keep up the good work and hope to bump into you again one day!
Hiyah! Lovely to meet you all too :) Hope the photos came out alright! 👍Unfortunately, I didn't see Swan Solo the next day - I still haven't seen him this year, but I keep a bag of food in my pocket for him anyway - One day our paths will cross, I'm sure - Both yours and mine, and Swan solos too 👍👍👍
Ah , the old holcombe toll , built for the Dawlish/ Teignmouth turnpike trust in 1824. Nice walk Bill, listening to Clive about the signals takes me back to my dad when he used to have to get out and phone from the box , no radio in them days . Great walk ,next time we’re out I’m getting you a sausage butty from Gays Interesting walk again with Clive
Great video Bill, Holcomb is so pretty but have still not managed to explore it ourselves as yet. We had a trip on the Restless today around the bay to Torquay, very enjoyable. 😺
Smashing! I have never been on the Restless myself! Simply because the trips I have seen were a little long in length, but all good - I'm sure you enjoyed yourself! 👍👍👍
@@BillsPhoneTeignmouth Currently, depending on weather, it is a two hour Bay Cruise at 1pm and a 2 hour River Cruise at 3pm - the atter includes a pub stop though.
Great stuff bill. Altho I’m going to upset a lot of you I’m afraid. It did not hit the spot with me. Clive very genned up no doubt. But …… altho joining on the walk it was not the same. Sorry bill I hope you don’t mind an opinion but not for me I’m really sorry. Too much 2 people not the bill walk. This is a comment page. And I’m sorry if I offend or offended. No disrespect whatever to Clive. Just my opinion Would rather the previous version. Sorry guys
Lovely walk and nice to hear Clive obviously enjoying himself 👍. Laters Bill.
Cheers Pooky-Cat - You'll hear him even clearer next time he's down, as I now have wireless mics 👍👍👍
Holcombe looks larger than I ever thought.....deceptive from the road....nice and clean and quiet.
Yes, getting massive there now - Lots of new builds that I couldn't get to show you, due to the wind - Never mind though, always another day 👍👍👍
Beautiful shots of Holcombe. Haven't walked around there in years! Love the old photos!! Nice one Bill!!
Many thanks Dave - Would have liked to have had a longer flight, but it wasn't to be - Maybe next time? 👍👍👍
Nice video and Clive is very knowledgeable giving info not heard before, a good man to have by one's side especially along the seawall weeeeee, lovely 👏
Yes, very knowledgable. He is a Senior conductor at London Midland so sure knows his trains 👍👍👍

It's fun that Clive can come with you sometimes. Cooo what a new house. Nice flight even if a little windy. Take care both.

Cheers Derisley 👍👍
❤❤❤👍👍👍
Cheers mate 👍
Can you get from Salty Dog to the sea wall without going up steps?
Not unless you went all the way along the beach to Sprey Point and took the ramp - But that's dependant on how much sand is on the beach I'm afraid...

Fair enough - Its not something that I'm going to be doing all the time - But now and then, its nice for me if nothing else 👍👍👍
@@BillsPhoneTeignmouth fully understand. And company is nice on a walk. Just an honest opinion mate but still enjoyable
No worries - I need to try new things from time to time, or I'll just stagnate 👍👍👍
