Great idea infilling the gap between the forward bulkheads.
Better to leave deck planking until after sanding the bulkheads in case the deck gets damaged.

Roma, I agree. Sanding is certainly not the most pleasant part of the build, but a good foundation does the ship make. I know I spend far more time with the sanding, frames, and planking but I love the finished product.
