Fantastic result mate. I have seen multiple Occre kits with that those gaps. Doesn't seem to affect things further down the track.

I like the nailing idea. Will give it a go on my next build.

Hi Roma:) Great work on the decks:) Regarding the planking of the decks all the way out to the edges, I would plank it.. Because if you're cutting holes in the upper deck, for the gratings, it may be some angels that you can see the missing planking.. But that is just my thoughts and opinion:)

Thanks man, appreciate your comment. I kinda checked the angle, with gratings I wouldn't be able to see that part

Roma, as usual you are kicking butt! The gaps seem to have faded into the "gaps, what gaps?" category and are now a thing of the past. I agree that I too would not plank the entire deck as they are just a waste of time and materials. That said, if you are going to add the gratings it looks as though the deck would need to continue. As always, love it!!!

Nice work Roma, looks great, I made the same mistake with my planking of the deck I had a few wavy lines of nails, when all the deck furniture is on it should be mostly covered up (thats what im hoping)

Will you add some LEDS? That would make decking the underside worthwhile? Then when it’s lit up you will see through the grates?

Thanks, sorry I'm not a big fan of light on the ship 😅 but yeah, it's a great solution and great idea. Thanks

You really have no problems. My guess is that you have not done too many of these kits before. It would be helpful for you to watch builds by other RUclipsrs. I am working on the same kit, and I am quite ahead of you. I won't post my build until it's completed, but I have seven other builds on RUclips now. keep going, your doing fine.

Thank you. This size of kit, yeah, it's my first one. Hope you like my videos

And another thing. Don't bother cutting the decks. You will never be able to see through the gratings.

Yeah, I thought about it too. I probably will not do this, thanks 😉
