Was thinking about getting these shoes but now not so sure with how little padding there is on the top. Just thinking about all the times the board whacks the top of my foot. Love the extra insole idea though! Very informative!
Bandsaw would give you a very clean and efficient cut. Also note: it will remove your finger completely before you feel the pain. Someone with 8 fingers told me so.

Since your able to open these shoes up, can you do a video where you take your top 5 favorite skate shoes and break them apart and combine each part that is your favorite of the specific shoe like using Nike’s sole but on an upper of an Adidas. Would be cool to make the perfect shoe and if you can find a shoemaker that can actually put them together to be worn and skated in would be insane

They don't here in Aus and I'm truly baffled by the fact that noone has just designed a fairly durable shoe lace in black, white + other common colours, sold em at an affordable price and made a fortune doing so.

I love what they tried to do with this shoe, mainly with the big cap and the laces stopping well above the toe area. It just seems like they missed the mark on making a really great shoe overall. But they're actually trying to make a better shoe tailored for skateboarding and I'd like to see what they put out in a few more years. I also think the shoes look dope from a distance, but not so great up close. So again I think with some refinements they could put out a shoe that looks good and is also great for skating.

If you wrap a cushy foam with a hard rubber outsole and do not leave room for the foam to expand inside of the midsole then you will have " brick" feeling no matter what. The cushion needs room expand and compress.
For example the new balance Kawhi Leonard shoe has the same foam cushioning as the Tiago 1010 but feels much better because it isn't incased in rubber. I don't skate so I don't know where the sweet spot is for you guys regarding cushioning and feel
If this is gonna be a regular thing on the channel (cutting shoes) Christian needs to invest in a band saw. Save him hella time or at the very least get some box cutter knives lol.
The reason your channel is doing “worse” is bc you’re getting more views but your subscriber count stays the same [which I’m sure you know]. So consider this a good thing bc more views is a good thing!

the hard part on the heel is called the "counter" and it gives the heel structure, so it hugs your foot and keeps the shape of the shoe
