Last v8 rs6 and arguably the best iteration yet, now was the time to order one. I went with an exclusive dark red on cognac, air, sensory (a must), ceramics and matte cf. just swap the mirror caps over to alu versions to channel those old school RS wagon vibes. That particular car you drove doesn’t have the sensory pack - it just has the RS design interior pack. Sensory adds the rising tweeters, metal speaker grilles, rear blinds etc
200k for Audi in Australia is crazy. Here in the States, it's only 145k new. It is ridiculous that they are charging you guys that much higher for the car when the demand in Australia isn't even that strong.
3 series internals are small imo and the Touring luggage space is barely more than the sedan. The RS6 wins for family space but depends on kid numbers and needs.
I haven’t driven either of em, but have ridden in a similar bmw equivalent. And from what I’ve read (I’ve read a lot), the m3 is a way rougher and stiffer ride. Which can be good for going all out, but not so good for comfort. So depends what ya want I suppose.
A new car with new technology just a second faster then my standard mercedes E55 which by the way is 20 years old with 200 000 on the clock Merc all the way
Beautiful in blue traversing what looks like my old Sunday riding jaunts out to Cotter & Brindabella Rd. Being in the market for a performance SUV that could tow and take some gear I didn't need a big box, but did need ground clearance so a X4M Competition landed in the garage.
It's nice, but $260K is enough to spec a 2024 Porsche Cayenne S Coupe to the teeth, which is also a V8. An AUDI RS6 has no competition with a Porsche at this price point. The interior alone is at least 5 years behind. And we don't even need to talk about brand value.
You can’t make it better the c7 was the best RS6 ever made. This c8 is with its bling styling left it in second place and dirty finger print touch screens everywhere. Not to mention it’s now 2 ton weight.. 😂
It amuses me that you people call these the best car,, VAG has one of the worst reputations (by people like me who actually fix cars) for reliability so chances are within 5 years (unless you are lucky) you best get a mortgage to pay for repairs
@@davidkeenan5989 Buy what you want, If you get rid of it before the warranty runs out all you lose in the downtime while repairs are carried out under warranty. talk to any qualified mechanic (including VAG "technicians) and they will tell you that they are garbage after 4-5 years
I'm sure those buying it know the inherited risks and likely to replace the car well before the cracks appear. Anyone buying second hand, well... good luck with that.
M3 Touring is more than $50k cheaper, smaller, almost as fast in a straight line, but way better in the tight stuff. If you want a V8 and have the money, go Audi. Otherwise pick the Bimmer.

If I squint my eyes tightly, close the garage door, my 2017 Skoda Superb 206kw wagon looks very similar Tom!😝🤣😍🤤
Don’t keep it to long Junk
Mine once out of warranty in one year 126 days in garage broken no parts and $14000 !! Junk

So does our VW Passat 206 Wagon. 😆

Iteration. Nice. 🧐
Gorgeous car, great review. Thanks.
$200M Lotto this week.😃🤞
This is the dad wagon id have if i win the lotto
Possibly less brake dust with carbon ceramics?
Thanks for the excellent review, Tom.
Planning on picking one up after the upcoming Powerball win 😎
Or just wait till king 🇬🇧
Not sure I'd agree that 4 climate zones is "staggering" in a $250k car. Our 2018 Volvo XC60 has 4 zones at "only" $85k.
Not 4x fan zones though... 😝
Standard RS6 is no longer available in Australia, right?
Correct
Perfect motor for the autobahns of Australia..
This AUDI RS6 is super beautiful in this colour. Modifications on this machine made it even better. Good job.
At 200k aud, yes sure? It’s within everyone’s reach 😂😂😂😂
And good to see another Bonobo fan ❤❤
Buy it 3 years later for less than $30k😊

In Thailand it costs $300k
My dream car! Excellent video!
Wow! It looks amazing in ASCARI blue! I have a 2022 R8 Spyder in than color. Love it!
Thx! Almost looks like a Hot Wheels super car from my childhood!
Put the cost aside, would u consider this over M3 touring as a daily/family/fun car?

Good Video, the car is unique, good new features, new technology

A comparo between Alfa QV vs this RS6 Performance for practical drivers car anyone?
A masterpiece
Thankyou
I like the Bernie Lomax look at 3:42 .
Yep, everyone knows who that is 🤔
What an awesome car! Dream daily driver.
Awesome..im always a fan of BMW when it comes to car brand 💯
This or an M3 Touring?
Awesome car I would love to own one
Amazing dream car… but a wagon for $300K…. Yeah nuh!!
Nobody can create car like that except Germans. Well done to them for making today’s world brutal!!!!
Man, it looks good in blue.
wonder about reliabiliity
Out of warranty no thanks.
267k! I used to think they were close to 200k... Luxury car tax etc..
Different steering wheel on the track..., but one of may favourite cars though..
Wow am in lv with this Audi it has more space in side
Literally the first thing I would purchase if I won the lotto this week haha.
Ever need, it's life expectancy like every car is 5 - 10 years, where as this will be outdated in 3.
Will probably spend more time being repaired in dealership than on the road while under warranty
AMAZING car ❤
Great car. Respect.
But, for slightly less sill money get the M3 Touring
The BMW is one class smaller
I I'm interested
Drive away from $280,000 AUD. You'd certainly want it to be all the car you'd ever need
I think you would drive away and then have to live away in this thing after you sell your house !
Lovely
Daddy ultimate toy ❤❤❤❤
gas tank is too small.
Only if I had the money!

Yeah only one you need but 250k for a car is a bit much
Epic performance with epic Audi unreliability 😂
$270k
I was out on soft sand 4wding and camping yesterday. I don't need this car at all.
I wouldn't want an audi if it was free, they're designed to be a pain in the ass long term like most Euro cars
Teutonic branded vehicles are known to breakdown premature
Whatever you say lol
Haha… talking from experience are we?? I’ve had my RS6 for over 5 years now from new… NOT A SINGLE ISSUE!!
Don't be driving the rs6 on the Autobahn at 300km/h while listening to kerosene that is a true recipe for disaster

@SPQRTempus haha like I said, I cannot afford either of them, maybe in 5-6 years, I can pick a used one for below $100k.
Isnt the rs6...oh, if you.just got comment bagged..that was me- isn't it about more room.in.the rs6? Some of us grow up. 🧓
