Jim Parsons deserved every award he got for this role. He was so good, his character got its own spinoff.
Also that character is based nothing like we learnd from him. For me in Young S. the best and most interesting character is his father, who is NOTHING like what we have heard until than. Not a rageing alcoholic, but a realy nice guy, down to earth and an amazing dad. Either Sheldon far exaggerated him in his stories or he was simply lying for sympathy. Let's be honest, both are Sheldon like things, sadly.
(This has nothing to do with Parsons acting, but that spinoff part is kinda nope for me. Actually if I'm honest, even after the 4 season TBBT was starting going down hill. But Hollywood never stop on the top, just keep milking it. It's a business first, than art most of the time.)

It really is like that in LA. You can't walk more than a block without having to dodge multiple instances of warm apple juice, melted candy bars, and overly affectionate toupees.

I have never worn them and that risk is one of the reasons why not. Also they're very dirty + I don't like the feel of them between my toes.

I tripped up in the middle of the street and tried to drown myself in a flooded drain during the rainy season in Samoa
Mine broke and had to hop on one leg, ended up getting on a motorcycle with a random stranger cause I was too far away from my house and practically gave up at that point. He did actually take me home which was nice of him.
Lol once a friend invited me to a park. In my head that meant picnic and flowers. I dressed for warm, sunny weather including flipflops. It was hiking around a mountain on rocky, uneven stairs. I got many stares, 'why are you wearing those?' lol this was not in the US. It was indeed very dangerous! Luckily I did not fall and get hurt but the heat did make my feet sweaty and slippery, I was terrified I would break a thong and go falling down the stairs.
I have just finished watching, for the 2nd time the full seasons of the big bang theroy. I enjoy this series so much.
Amy should have taken Sheldon to bed and sung him his favorite song, “Soft Kitty.”

She is his girlfriend, not his mom. There must be lots sick people who watch this show who are also involved in problematic and unusual relationships with their parents.
All of that could have been avoided if Sheldon had committed the cardinal sin of wearing socks with the flip flops. Baby steps, Sheldon.
