Such a great video - thanks for sharing (and congratulations with your new, lovely lights - a great investment you will get a lot of great use out of, it seems already 🤓) I would love to see more videos like this in future about light placement etc. Also your editing process if you like to share (for instance you mention at 2:47 that you will photoshop the product you have used from and I am very curious to see how that is done). May I ask where you buy your paper roll backdrops from (or which brand they are)? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work 🤓 Best from Susanne
Thank you so much for your feedback! I usually purchase paper backdrop rolls at a local photo shop called Pictureline or on Amazon. Savage and Superior are both really good quality brands. For my vinyl backdrops, I will custom print them at a local sign shop. I've also purchased cheap backdrops from Aliexpress a couple times as well as colored poster board from a craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michaels. I usually shoot on vinyl backdrops though because they can get wet without ruining like paper!
There is a front light that is directed upwards towards the ceiling of the room. What is its function? Another question: Why didn't you use a diffuser to soften the lighting? Thank you very much.
The light pointed towards the celling is a continuous light for the video. It’s not used to light the image I’m photographing. I chose not to soften the light because I like harsh shadows in my photography. You can choose to use modifiers for your own projects if you prefer a softer shadow look!
Looks amazing without any editing , do you mind showing us how you edit the colours of the backdrops like you mentioned in the video ? Thank you
I can absolutely do a video about changing the color of backdrops! Thanks for the suggestion
Looks SO good!
@@hearttakethewheel thank you so much!
Hi Kasey I love the quality of your video- what camera are you shooting the youtube video with?
Thank you! I use the Sony FX3 with the 16-35mm f2.8

Hi Kasey, why have you decided to take B1X instead of D2, for example? Good price for B1X kit? Thanks.
Yes, I purchased them slightly used for a really good deal
My friend, we as beginners need a lot of processing in Photoshop. We hope so. Thank you.
