  • One of the best hikes I've ever done anywhere in the world! The 104 mile Uinta Highline Trail in Utah does not disappoint! Follow us, Red Beard, Zpacks & Friends, as we hike all 104 miles from the Eastern Terminus at HWY 191 to the Western Terminus at Hayden Pass Utah Route 150 in 10 Days.
In this episode it’s day 7 of our hike and we hike 10.5 miles from Tungsteen Pass to one of the most beautiful ponds I've ever camped at. We also go up and over the 12,236' tall Porcupine Pass.
Stay tuned for 3 more episodes featuring every mile of this incredible trail.

I'm no geology guy, but it looks like it might even be an old meteor crater not a plateau.
    It's an absolutely amazing video.

This is pretty cool to watch, me being a local and all.. You guys camped where I've camped a number of times. I sure love it up there! Oh, and Anderson pass can be NUTS on a horse!

Great series of videos, Will. Thank you so much for putting them together and sharing! I will be hiking this section of the Highline trail soon and am planning one night of camping near Porcupine Pass. Do you by chance remember if there were any good camp site areas on either side of the pass? They both look fairly wide open and barren, but I would love your input if you have any notes from that section of your trip!
    Best,
    Luke

Awesome! I am planning on this hike next year. Did you freestyle planning this or was there a resource you used? Also what are you using to attach the camera to your trekking Pole?

We had a big group on this hike and I actually did very little of the planning for this hike. He mapped out the trail from a GPX file we found on google and then reached out to a shuttle service to take us to the trail. It wasn't too bad. Its called the StickPic. Great little creation from a friend of mine. Just google search for it and it will pop up.
