02:15 Anyone else notice that the pilot throttles up the number 2 engine to full dry power before number 1, you actually hear it when number 1 gets brought up to full dry power... awesome!
I once saw a B1 Lancer do several low level passes over the base while I was fishing on a nearby lake, the ground shook as it flew past absolute awesome sight but it ruined the days fishing lol.
Nice :) im at cholderton Farm and office is on the glide path for Boscome down lol. can see the jets take off from absail tower :) love it :P just got an EOS 7D SLR yay redy for RIAT :) AVATION FOR LIFE. nice vid dude :P
One question... why does the tornado needs plenty of time at max power before going to full reheat?? is it just a takeoff sequence or there's a reason behind it. thanks. nice vid btw
Pilot is just going through take off procedure. If it was a war situation then he would light the burners and be off the ground in a few seconds. hope that helps you.
like the way how it shuts the 'nozzles' when it lands at 0:18. that's so cool. what's that for? does it help stopping or what? (just curious) very nice video! thanks!
I'm just a yank, but I love this aircraft..it's beautiful.

I love this aircraft. Rugged, reliable and very powerful. A flying bomb truck.
Lovely sound, jet noise always gives me goosebumps

@Discuzzz They're not air brakes, they're called "thrust buckets". They cover the engine outlet's when they go in to reverse thrust

I live close to RAF valley and from the cut's the only aircraft we see there are Sea hawks and some puma's.
I spy a Eurofighter in the background too ;)
@LowFlyMedia Thank goodness you didn't ruin this video with music.
