A mixture of video and still images taken at the 2009 Airshow held in Dawlish, Devon, England, including footage of (amongst others), the Sea-King, Hawker Hunter, the Red Arrows, and the Avro Vulcan XH558 in formation with them. Many thanks to the event organisers for a superb day of flight action.

Hello What kind of camera
thanks racedriver, but I need feet of runway. thanks hope to hear from u soon.pilot
Beautiful wales scenery and amzing footage .
Best footage i've ever seen, nicely done!
Um...I come here for the "right stuff" ...you have made it too "commercial" for my enjoyment ~ sorry. "LowFlyMedia" ....:-(((
that makes them more stupid than anything else.
This is a great video, reminds me of when I was younger and you could see them practising in Niorth Wales, you don't see it so much now which I assume is due to defence cuts and all combat aircraft transferring to Marham, Coningsby, Leuchars and Lossiemouth. Last time I went the only action was some hawks from the Red Arrows which I believe are stationed at Valley?
german pilots are nuts. i served in german navy, and during a manuve they mock-attacked our ship.. i was playing an injured man on my back on the upper deck facing the sky when the luftwaffe tornado came out of nowhere almost taking our radar mast with him.... i am scare resistant as a draft horse, but i tell you.. that was a bit scary.. also our desperate flak gunner trying to track that plane was really pissed off :-)
Ameteures. I lived in Ballachullisch/Glencoe, and the LUFTWAFFE whent UNDER the bridge at full speed. The F-15 and the Brit Tornadoe pulled out.
Look at that scenery! I came here for the aircraft .. but bloomin' hell. What a nice place to see!
Lovely sound, jet noise always gives me goosebumps
Once lived in Glencoe, Scotland. Normally the Tornadoes, F-16s, F-15s, ONCE(!) an F-14! However, I will NEVER forget TWO things.1. A B-52 flying low along the valley, and, best of all; 3 planes. Two F-15s and a Luftwaffe Tornado. Ballachulish bridge.. The two F-15s went high. The Luftwaffe Tornado went, UNDER the bridge.Which, while I was crossing it on foot, was slightly impressive.
I love this aircraft. Rugged, reliable and very powerful. A flying bomb truck.
Tornado is by far my favorite aircraft.
wow. dude got skills
awesome footage
awesome :)
good filming and nice photo at 0:14!
Talk about a beautiful creation! That valley your village is by is incredibly beautiful, would love to see it and hike around (the planes are just a plus!). Gorgeous.
Thanks for uploading the video and taking the time to record it..brilliant stuff!!!
Sorry 59marco95 but YoyTube doesn't allow links in comments, but I have updated the description of the video to include a link.
Monday to friday, excluding UK stautory holidays. Any time of year.
thats next to my home town, the euro is an ace plane to see flying round here too. nice vid by the way.. :)
An advert from google came up just as the fly by happened... It said '' I used to drive a cab'' I thought it was part of the video and sat there thinking, woah, upgrade much?
no mate i wuld rather hav an f-15 or the typhoon the tornados arent desinged for dogfighting only lowlevel boming and interceping but having said that i wuld then rather have the tornado if i was on a boming run than the f-15
It is near the village of Dolegellau in Wales. Getting there is best by car although train and taxi is a possibility. There are planes flying there most week days.
Where is this, how often does this happen and how do I get there????
can anybody tell me .how much runway. this puppy took befor she was up. please reply any one. I got to get me one
What a beautiful landscape
Pilot is just going through take off procedure. If it was a war situation then he would light the burners and be off the ground in a few seconds. hope that helps you.
Looks like someone got out on day release......
I wuz there, brilliant
LoL:-)
Mach Loop refers to the location at which the video was taken, not that the planes perform a loop the loop in excess of the speed of sound.........
So, This is just everything, BUT NOT A MACH-LOOP...
I am not aware of any having ever been through.
Perhaps not if you have a MiG 23, MiG 29 or Su-30 or Su-35 against you! I'd take an AMRAAM'd F-15E anytime. Tornado's best option would be to move in the opposite direction as fast as possible!
Very interesting, we now have all the information needed, Many thanks Vladimir Kozlov
I hope you're joking!!! Strange people..........
Sorry to say this mate but if you go the Royal Air Force's website they have details of the planes in greater depth than this video. So the RAF will look at this video, look at your comment, and probably think your a time waster...
Are you for real?
How do I get a job flying one of those?
I'd love to live right on the side of that mountain.
The hawk for its size is a fast and very maneuverable/ agile aircraft...excellent trainers for any airforce!
its done in northumbria in the uk as training for the tornado and typhoon pilots undertaking air to air combat with the BAE Hawk and they dont achive super sonic one becuase its not allowed and because the Hawk cant achive that speed
Niiice. /understatement. :)
What? Look i dont mean to be rude but it most certainly is NOT. The F14 was designed to protect its fleet and to shoot down russian bombers at long range while being capable of dog fighting with the bombers escorts at the same time. The Tornado isnt even Carrier borne.
The video info says it's at Bwlch, Wales.
