Final fantasy protagonist are always the same. Sombre, depressed with some past trauma and attachment issues. And here is Zack. So out there and full of life. He laughs and he cries and he really feels and is not afraid to show it. His incredible personality and his strong sence of loyalty is truly to be admired. His story is by far the most emotional and powerful one in the whole franchise. And its a shame he is still considered a "minor" character despite the fact that Cloud would not be alive if it weren't for him.
You guys notice here how Aerith warns Zack not step on the flowers as they're fragile? But then in the remake when Cloud starts apologizing, she says it's fine and that they're sturdier than the look. Also how when Aerith gave Cloud the flower and says lovers gave them when they were reunited like how Cloud with Zack's personality reunites with Aerith in the remake. I almost cried at those references. It shows so much of Aerith's character growth over the years.
I guess you need to drop from the skies into a church to find a girl like aerith cause now it happen the second time with zack and cloud. It seems her love life seems to be always falling.

Crisis core holds a special place in my heart. I got my PSP and finished this game without playing anything else. Zack's my favorite final fantasy main character.

In the original game, Aerith has a very tomboyish personality and here in CC, she's more feminine. Square Enix did a great job at mixing these personalities in the remake.
She did also inherit bits of Zack's personality in the original game. Ofc, that's to be expected when you're dating someone for about a year and a half.

Aaaw man.. This good old gem of a game. LOVED it. One of The best final Fantasy games out there. I LOOOOVED Aerith (a.k.a Best Girl) in this game, though I did think this particular scene gelt a little weird, and Aerith was acting a little weird. She becomes far more awesome later and besides, she's only 15 in this scene, if my memory serves me right.

I LOOOOVED Aerith (a.k.a Best Girl) in this game, though I did think this particular scene gelt a little weird, and Aerith was acting a little weird. She becomes far more awesome later and besides, she's only 15 in this scene, if my memory serves me right.
