- Best budget brand lightweight selvedge? Last year I was looking for raw denim to wear in the summer. I stumbled across the UNBRANDED 222 11oz. stretch selvedge denim. What really caught my eye about these was that they were 99 percent cotton and 1 percent stretch. This combination allowed me to get reasonable fades with still being able to rock them in hot weather. Are they worth the purchase? Lets find out.
I also own the UB222 and have it for a year now. The 1% stretch is really great especially in the summertime, but the jeans keeps it form and is getting some nice fades.
Absolutely recommendation for a light pair of raw denim for the summer. Great quality for the price, nice fit would buy it again.
1 percent stretch is pretty unheard of. They are great. Im going to do an update video on these pretty quick because they are faded really nice right now.
You mind telling your weight and height? I’m thinking about getting a pair. I wear the Levis tapered and I’m not sure if I should get the relaxed or the regular tapered.
I'm about 165 pounds and 5'10.
I actually plan to get the UB422 tight stretch jeans, would you happen to know if you had colorfast these denims prior to first time wear? And how did you manage with the dye staining within the first year? I'm looking into soaking these in sea salt + vinegar then throwing them in the washer with just water, then hang drying before wearing them out.
I didn't colorfast them. Just wore them as they were.

lol. I was getting used to my Invisalign at the time. They suck.
