The weird bend in the hose from the pump is to always trap fuel to the pump it won’t run into an issue where there is straight air to the pump
Jimmy the undercoating on the bottom of the car, and what is on your gas tank, is called “COSMOLINE”. They put it on the cars so they didn’t rust on the boats going over the ocean while being imported.
Rather that than ton of rust 👍
Cosmolene is also put all over brand new brake rotors and gun parts so it doesn't rust

AH I love fresh undercoating! There's just something about a little restore and rust prevention that feels so good. It looks amazing too, even though no one will see it. Now you just need to get all hardware and brackets zinc plated!

Old video but I just heard your comment on weight in seam sealer and I de seam sealed the whole front end of my e36 and it’s a good 10lbs in seam sealer from from doors to nose of the frame rails😅 just watching this to see how you undercoated the car!!! Awesome in-depth video thanks

U-pol raptor is what brian is talking about. Its 115 a gallon and comes with its own shutz gun "sprayer". Its a 2k "poly epoxy " coating. Offered in black or a tintable white. Great product for anyone, from a diyer to pro. From cars to boat decking. The spray pattern is adjustable for different textures
well at least you don't have any holes to weld up, when I did this to mine, the whole underside of the battery compartment and spare wheel were rusted through.

I am surprised you did not resolder on the connector instead of the OEM wires.
They look so thin... I would be surprised if you don't have some voltage drop on the FP (but hopefully not enough to matter).

Jimmy, imagine doing all this and then repeat what happened to the e30 on the first trackday.
You should do the dual OEM fuel modual mod. The car will fuel cut below half tank. The sender with pump will drop right into the side ment for the Venturi pump.

You should restore the paint on the car. A bit of sanding, cutting buffing and polishing and it would look awesome. I’m sure bhall knows the process.
