Actually, the real-life E-25 (prototypes *were* actually made) was designed to use either the 75mm L/70 or an autoloader version of the same gun, built by Skoda. A prototype was made and tested, it had a 40 round magazine and 1.5s reload between shots.

I just *love* the E-25. I bought mine the second I had downloaded the patch were it first appeared, after watching Jingles first short video on it. I've never regretted it and have had some amazingly funny games in it. I just love the mobility and the super accurate gun. I use my StuG crew in it. I run with camonet, binocs and a gun rammer. 22 rounds per minute for 2970 dpm... 2.73 sec reload... +450m view range... Detection range - when they step on you! I've used it as a scout with great success. With the high speed, camo bonus and super hig dpm gun and excellent mobility, it's arguably a better scout than most light tanks. A tier 4 light can get into tier 8 matches as a scout, but so can the E-25. Which would you rather drive and face a tier 8 heavy? The E-25 reminds me of a terrier dog. It runs around like mad and bite the bad guys in the ankles. They get super pissed and rage in chat. I just love it.
Great review, QB, and I'm glad to see that you like the E-25! I very much enjoy driving my flat-pack, though I've never done the kind of damage you manage with it.
the problem with this is that the commander also takes the radio officer position, meaning to get the most out of this tank you may have to train 5 skills
I really want one of these, have done since almost straight after I started playing. When I first started playing I was all about getting to the Tiger and the Panther (as something of an amateur historian I was aware of the marked superiority of the German Tanks, the Tiger especially. Of course like everybody else I was desperately disappointed when I quickly got there, too quickly probably. However since learning to play properly i understand firstly the reason why our hero tanks are sometimes not all we wish, it is after all a game and cannot be as one sided as Tank combat in WW2. Their is no way of simulating the many drawbacks too these no doubt superior vehicles. Their cost and time consuming production and their crippling lack of numbers. I now play the Tiger for fun and see that it is actually a very good sniper and can be played as a flanker with care, when I first played I was horrified and thought they had to be joking but as I say..... too soon. Anycase I feel this tank would suit my playstyle (although I also thought that about the CDC and......... Oh dear) and it was not available to buy when I rejoined the game last year. I fully expect the E25 to become available during this years Advent Calender Event, the highlight of an Xmas where WG offer us the chance TO BUY something everyday.... Yippee, (actually yippee is something of a bad word selection as the US server where the clientele are far more likely to issue a "Yippee" as they are far more likely to have something to issue a "Yippee" for.... seriously if you play the game check it out! If you live in Europe you might not be a player much longer!! I think I am gonna sack the game as a New Years Resolution. Well, after bringing everyone down.... Sorry, you never know WG may see the error and plain victimisation of their ways, the E25 may not come bundled with a load of crap that ensures it costs upward of £50 quid (I know a considerable number of players want the chance to buy this tank so we will see WG and their GREED in all its finery during this festive season! Hello Quicky. I love my E25. On those days when it's seems like I cannot get a win, I hope into my "little roach" and have a great time. With the massive fire rate and great camo rating, I can double bush and wreck the flank of the enemy. And if they finally spot me, the speed is more than enough to get me to safety. It can ding VIII tier gun, for example situation from yesterday. I'am attacking last tank of the enemy team with my 7 guys, is3 ding on my spaced armor, i killed him and GG ;D Sry for mistakes.
Yeah I love the E 25, but the only problem is, out of my 70 battles in it I always get idiot teams, kill to death ratio is 3, damage ratio is 2.5, and I still have 46% win rate in it...

For me E-25 seems like one of the few premium vehicles that are actually competitive in their tier. Together with Type 64, FCM 50t and perhaps a few others.
QB why did you pick the binocs over a camo net. binocs dont affect draw dist so you can shoot at the same ranges. binocs only let you spot things. to me it seems like the e25 does best when it doesnt play on the front lines untill mid to late game. and that a camo net would only make that amazing camo rateing 25% better!
The thing benefits from the fact that not only is it incredibly mobile, and has an insane rate of fire, but that if played well it's virtually invisible. I've been knocked out by these (and the Hellcat) too many times when I get shot to pieces by something that I just can't see so I can't shoot back

other thing you have to remember in the E 25 is that almost every shot that you take is going to break something in the tank because of the little size of the tank.
You actually look at turret traverse speed while comparing premiums, su 122 44 has track traverse of 42 d/s not 26 d/s so it can really be a surprise for somebody trying to circle around you.
q/b can you answer me this? When one shoots in the track area of wot tanks is it possible to hit between the running gear or is this whole area considered track area?
E-25 is one of my favorite tanks mostly due to it's speed, camo and gun. It's good at scouting, flanking and reacting on the battlefield. It can kill anything anywhere. The most fun is tracking and re-tracking enemies before taking all their HP.
Typicaly revealing skill of players this tank, when u do great job (spot or sniping) without loose too much credit (even won few) and survive, u become good. But it’s tricky, fun and tense, but tricky... pretty sad they stopped to sell it, bcoz for me it’s one of the most iconic tanks in WoT and one of the funniest ones. Good review, GGs.
I remember this 1 battle waz in. I was in a M5A1 Stuart and i was only scout in hole game so i got nerves facein t7 in a t4 gold rounds were scarce for me and a nice E25 chose to help me sscout very well i spot while he shot
I really enjoy playing the e25. It's low profile and high mobility make it a really fun tank to play. Bonus to that is the credit earning capabilities and the matchmaking bonus. As I love German TDs this also help crew my non-premium crews quickly. The only drawback to the e25 is it's gun. You MUST use its camo rating/mobility to maneuver it into great firing locations on enemy flanks. Highly recommend picking one of these little beasts up if you like German TDs.

I got it on sale myself, so it was definitely worth it. It gets pretty decent MM, never sees tier 9 except in platoons, and even then kinda rare. Great RoF but the pen can be lacking against some heavy tier 8s, but you're accurate enough to go for weakspots. Of course it's a big tradeoff, you get amazing speed for absolutely no armor. I like it and would recommend it, but it may not be your play style. Try it out on the next test server maybe
I might consider buying the E25, if I hadn't already bought the DMax when it was dirt cheap. No interest or money for 2 german premium TD's, really. Still looks like a nice tank.
Just have amazing camp so you can get closer to tanks and spot them, use camo net and binos and just have the ap round works they are only 109 credits, profit city
E25 is nice because missing a shot is a lot less painful. If you miss in the E25 you're down about 130 damage, but missing in the SU is so much worse. Also, E25 can keep things tracked. When penetration isn't reliable, tracking the enemy for your team is incredibly useful.
I'm not QB but E25 all the way, obviously. You should be able to tell just by looking at both of their stats. The su-122-44 uses expensive ammo ( like all russian 122 shells ) which also lowers profitability. It has tier 9 matchmaking ( and it's easy to kill for tier 9's to say the least ) availability? they are both permanently available in shop.
quicky ive taken my e25 into tier 9 battles and it only struggles against e75 and st1 with standard AP rounds so its more then compititave. love the tank wont ever sell my baby e25 :)
I'm looking to buy a T7 Premium, for money making purposes. Now I'm debating... SU-122 or E-25.. From seeing this, it makes good money in great games. But how does this thing mine dem gold in average games?
I have mixed feeling about this tank as an opponent, it really depends on what I am in, an example is I love finding these while in my black prince because they cant pen the front and getting around the black prince is not easy for an e25. but if I am in a medium like the comet this tank is a nightmare since it has such good dpm and it is impossible to get around it.

I have this tank. Its a wonderful little td. It's the only non rotating turret type td I like. What many might not know is that many times you'll see T29 enemy tanks in battle. The E25 can run right up against the T29 and just blast away at it. The T29's gun cannot point down enough to shoot it. Catch a T29 alone and you can kill it. Takes several shots but it will die. If the T29 moves just move with it and keep the gun on the T29 at all times. Its funny to watch a E25 take out a T29 this way. Other large tanks have the same problem like the T29 in this respect. Another thing QB doesn't mention is that with the upcoming TD visibility nerf in patch 9.1 the E25 will not be affected by it because the premium TDs are excluded from the new visibility rules.
why are ALL td's getting their camo cut? only the german borsig line needs that, they're the only ones that can get away with staying hidden while firing even without a camo crew or even a net, especially with the turrets on tier 8+
this is Tirion Lannister of the TD's - short of height, deadly in combat and loves to troll people! and I've had bounced even my 122mm from kv-1s from it...
Premium account gives a nicer looking garage that you see in his video. If you don't want to pay, you can always mod your game to have a whatever garage you like. There are a bunch of nice garage mods.
Great video as always fella. Gotta say, I love my E 25. I see it as a stealthier, faster and higher DPM version of my JagdPz IV (yes, I'm one of those weirdos that actually likes the FlatPanzer!) Additionally, I enjoy playing it 'cos of how similar it is to my ELC AMX in terms of speed & mobility.
Matthew Halsey I also strongly prefer the 75mm over the 88. It's also MUCH more accurate and can hit those weakspots over and over again. The 88 is more of a brawling gun, but the Flatpanzer is not a good brawler, in my opinion, it's not fast enough. It's a sniper and for that, the 75mm is excellent.
I laugh so hard when I drive around my e-25 and all the complete hate a discontent this little beast is capable of creating. When I am in this tank I have more people rage at me that any other tank. In one game I single handed killed a full health T29, T25-2, e-25 and a half health kv-1s. My hod the rage was amazing. The only ones who were laughing on the enemy team was their e-25. I started shooting the t25-2 at the beginning of the game and he said god damn I hate the fucking cockroaches! He got into cover and I didn't see him again till the end of the game in which I took the rest of his health. His rage was definitely memorable.
I just have had a nice battle in my E25. However, after finishing the battle, WOT shot itself down and had to restart it. And yes, I can't see my game stats. Unfortunately I was not paying attention during the game, since I was rather busy. I did see, however, in a blink of an eye that I somehow managed to kill 10 tanks. Now it is frustrating not to be able to see the game stats. Is that anyhow possible?
Alright so i'm playing with my su152 with the 122mm and its average pen is 175.. for some reason I always bounce the e25 and i have no idea how please explain.
Elijah Olivarria No you don't need to use the 152 I mean it doesn't really preform as well as the 122 in the fact that it has better pen much more dpm and much more accurate and I feel all around is better but that's my opinion.
with the e-25 you can drive up to heavy tanks like tiger II and shoot them to bits and they cant hit you, they cant get the gun down low enough to hit!
i love my e25. great money maker and best thing ever when you park against a tall enemy HT with bad gun depression and you can just unload into them. also i have no problem with penetrating almost all tanks you face. i only carry 5 gold rnds incase im last alive against a heavy.

really? the difference is autoloaders will pack a punch and fire fast, so you get a massive burst, this is totally different
think of it as a 60-round autoloading tank, with 2.42 second delay between shots

QB the carousel on Lakeville is destructible cover. Just shoot it once and it will get demolished which would've made shooting that T32 a lot easier.

quicky ive taken my e25 into tier 9 battles and it only struggles against e75 and st1 with standard AP rounds so its more then compititave. love the tank wont ever sell my baby e25 :)
I'm looking to buy a T7 Premium, for money making purposes. Now I'm debating... SU-122 or E-25.. From seeing this, it makes good money in great games. But how does this thing mine dem gold in average games?
I have mixed feeling about this tank as an opponent, it really depends on what I am in, an example is I love finding these while in my black prince because they cant pen the front and getting around the black prince is not easy for an e25. but if I am in a medium like the comet this tank is a nightmare since it has such good dpm and it is impossible to get around it.

You say more fun than the OTHER German TD, Don't you mean TD'S, you're forgetting the Dicker Max. Another reasonably good TD that I have, I also have the 8.8.

I love my E-25, almost 400 battle's and i never feel the need to use premium rounds. Mostly because the accuracy allows you to aim for weakspots.
I have this tank. Its a wonderful little td. It's the only non rotating turret type td I like. What many might not know is that many times you'll see T29 enemy tanks in battle. The E25 can run right up against the T29 and just blast away at it. The T29's gun cannot point down enough to shoot it. Catch a T29 alone and you can kill it. Takes several shots but it will die. If the T29 moves just move with it and keep the gun on the T29 at all times. Its funny to watch a E25 take out a T29 this way. Other large tanks have the same problem like the T29 in this respect.
Another thing QB doesn't mention is that with the upcoming TD visibility nerf in patch 9.1 the E25 will not be affected by it because the premium TDs are excluded from the new visibility rules.

why are ALL td's getting their camo cut? only the german borsig line needs that, they're the only ones that can get away with staying hidden while firing even without a camo crew or even a net, especially with the turrets on tier 8+

Im kinda new to this game but how did you get your garage to look so nice.
Premium account gives a nicer looking garage that you see in his video.
If you don't want to pay, you can always mod your game to have a whatever garage you like. There are a bunch of nice garage mods.

Drop the vents and add binocs. Vision is more important.

Gotta say, I love my E 25. I see it as a stealthier, faster and higher DPM version of my JagdPz IV (yes, I'm one of those weirdos that actually likes the FlatPanzer!) Additionally, I enjoy playing it 'cos of how similar it is to my ELC AMX in terms of speed & mobility.
The Flatpanzer is greatly underrated.
I just got annoyed by the 88 L/56, but everything else is great about it
TheOppi16 I rarely use the short 88mm on the JagdPzIV. I much prefer the DPM the 75mm offers.
Matthew Halsey I also strongly prefer the 75mm over the 88. It's also MUCH more accurate and can hit those weakspots over and over again. The 88 is more of a brawling gun, but the Flatpanzer is not a good brawler, in my opinion, it's not fast enough. It's a sniper and for that, the 75mm is excellent.

I laugh so hard when I drive around my e-25 and all the complete hate a discontent this little beast is capable of creating. When I am in this tank I have more people rage at me that any other tank. In one game I single handed killed a full health T29, T25-2, e-25 and a half health kv-1s. My hod the rage was amazing. The only ones who were laughing on the enemy team was their e-25. I started shooting the t25-2 at the beginning of the game and he said god damn I hate the fucking cockroaches! He got into cover and I didn't see him again till the end of the game in which I took the rest of his health. His rage was definitely memorable.
I just have had a nice battle in my E25. However, after finishing the battle, WOT shot itself down and had to restart it. And yes, I can't see my game stats. Unfortunately I was not paying attention during the game, since I was rather busy. I did see, however, in a blink of an eye that I somehow managed to kill 10 tanks. Now it is frustrating not to be able to see the game stats. Is that anyhow possible?

Alright so i'm playing with my su152 with the 122mm and its average pen is 175.. for some reason I always bounce the e25 and i have no idea how please explain.
your supposed to use the 152 mm bfg
Elijah Olivarria No you don't need to use the 152 I mean it doesn't really preform as well as the 122 in the fact that it has better pen much more dpm and much more accurate and I feel all around is better but that's my opinion.

with the e-25 you can drive up to heavy tanks like tiger II and shoot them to bits and they cant hit you, they cant get the gun down low enough to hit!

i love my e25. great money maker and best thing ever when you park against a tall enemy HT with bad gun depression and you can just unload into them. also i have no problem with penetrating almost all tanks you face. i only carry 5 gold rnds incase im last alive against a heavy.
