Remember when Jedi actually feared Droidekas? Yeah, me neither.
Exactly... however imao the droidekas are still pretty op.
How ever there close range damage to heros are stupid
Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon had to retreat when the Droidekas showed up in TPM, and a similar scene happened in ROTS. I'm sure they could have defeated the Droidekas with difficulty but the fact they chose to avoid the risk tells you a lot.
Also in one of the Legends comic, it takes Luke and Mara Jade working together to kill one Droideka...of course this was the pre-Disney EU before they portrayed Luke and Vader as overpowered, indestructible superhero-level demigods rather than the skilled, but mortal warriors with vaguely mystical power that Lucas intended them to be.
Seriously, that Mandalorian scene was fucking dumb.

A server browser? Oof, imagine the empty OT and Sequel maps. I would prefer a BF1 after match system. Where, depending on the game mode, you csn vote for a map to play.

This gives me so much nostalgia watching this! I remember seeing this when I was in Colorado in 2019 with my Grandma and my cousins and it was just a surge of positivity! And then when I go back home im able to play this update when the Droidekas amd TX-130 were added to the game! Man I wish thia game was still alive... Imagine how much content we'd have now. I want Battlefront 3...

Seriously! One ion grenade and their shields are fucked. Hopefully they’ll have enough “firepower” to at least be able to hold their ground
They will still have a lot of HP i assume since there an enforcer, at least 380 like the Battledroids.
Ion grenades take way too long to explode.
I just wish for singleplayer bot matches like in the 2005 edition...

Not really. The offline mode only has team battles.
Delta 118 every mode is a "team battle." You can play them by yourself with bots. Hence the "single player" aspect. I know it doesn't have "Galactic Conquest mode" , that's NOT what I'm talking about, and if the original poster was, they needed to be more specific then.

Really? Can you tell me where I can play Starfighter Assault or Galactic Assault in arcade alone with bots? Because I haven't figured it out and all I seem to be able to play is team deathmatches with bots, which gets old really fast.
Delta 118 I see what you're saying. Yea, you seem to only be able setup "team death matches" with bots in "Arcade mode" , either on foot or in the ships, but that's really it. Having the actual modes with bots would be a nice option.

As an extra treat. I hope to see Galatic marines and the 187th before this game is completed. They have come a long way and practically earned my support. I just need to see offline 20 vs 20 skirmish next. I also really hope to see Mace Windu.

Although according to DICE, it was environmental clutter and didn't confirm Droidekas coming like we expected. They released the news officially confirming them months afterwards. It was meme worthy, hence this joke
