I seem to remember awhile back you were working on someone with long term diabetes, who was unable to look after his own feet. And the home care worker said his feet were 'nasty'. In other words, she did not touch his feet and simply ignored the problems. I think a social service person finally intervened. (Hope they fired that stupid home care worker) And you also asked viewers not to judge the man, but instead try and understand what he had gone through: so that NOW at last his feet would be properly looked after. Yours is a kind, sympathetic approach. Compassion and professionalism. We salute you. Cheers from New Orleans.

You’re so kind to your patients. I recently went to a podiatrist for the first time, and it was such a bad experience. He barely even looked at my feet, much less touched them. There’s nothing wrong with my feet other than a mysterious pain that occurs in my big toe and the one next to it and nowhere else. It feels like an electrical shock, there’s burning etc but it doesn’t occur anywhere else. At any rate, he didn’t x-Ray, just said to stand against the wall and stretch my foot tendons. I wish we had a foot dr here like you. I would RUN there!

@@darniataylor7749 Yes, at great length and also a foot surgeon who did x-ray and said it’s not neuropathy. Because it’s very localized and neuropathy shows up also in hands, and the other foot. But this pain is only on the one foot and affects only the big toe and the one next to it.

I love this man. He has so much compassion for his patients. He knows that elderly people don’t necessarily want people looking at their feet especially if they are all wonky. God bless you. 💚
