"Walking on a toothache," now I've heard it all! Working in the healthcare field, I've seen a lot of patients with calluses and corns but *nothing* like his! I hope he continues to come back and get the care he needs. 💜
I’m a RN and I swear I missed the area of my nursing calling. I was so fascinated by this procedure. And what a delightful and humble patient. “That’s just the iceberg” and “walking on a toothache!” Love it! Nice work Dr.!
I seem to remember awhile back you were working on someone with long term diabetes, who was unable to look after his own feet. And the home care worker said his feet were 'nasty'. In other words, she did not touch his feet and simply ignored the problems. I think a social service person finally intervened. (Hope they fired that stupid home care worker) And you also asked viewers not to judge the man, but instead try and understand what he had gone through: so that NOW at last his feet would be properly looked after. Yours is a kind, sympathetic approach. Compassion and professionalism. We salute you. Cheers from New Orleans.
What a nice man your patient is. I'm so glad that you were able to relieve him of as much pain as possible. I hope that he'll be back for regular maintenance. Good work Dr. Jefferson.😃 It's good to see you back.💖
Dr. Jefferson you are a rare breed of doctor. One who really genuinely cares for their patients. You have a heart of gold! This patient was in excellent hands.
You’re so kind to your patients. I recently went to a podiatrist for the first time, and it was such a bad experience. He barely even looked at my feet, much less touched them. There’s nothing wrong with my feet other than a mysterious pain that occurs in my big toe and the one next to it and nowhere else. It feels like an electrical shock, there’s burning etc but it doesn’t occur anywhere else. At any rate, he didn’t x-Ray, just said to stand against the wall and stretch my foot tendons. I wish we had a foot dr here like you. I would RUN there!
I feel 4 u I've had the same issue 4 yrs only in my big toe on the left side. I'm in KC and been thinking abt taking a trip to DC just to see the doctor. If u find out what the issue is please let us know
@@darniataylor7749 Yes, at great length and also a foot surgeon who did x-ray and said it’s not neuropathy. Because it’s very localized and neuropathy shows up also in hands, and the other foot. But this pain is only on the one foot and affects only the big toe and the one next to it.
You are so wonderful to validate your patient's pain, talk them through the procedure of the why their condition has occurred and how you're approaching it, and gently offer them RELIEF! I love hearing you explain what you're doing and why, offering care, compassion, and comfort. Absolutely wonderful Doctor! A rare gem of a wonderful, caring person 💖
It is such a pleasure to see how easily you talk with your patients. They’re very comfortable because you’re compassionate and don’t give them crap about waiting too long.
Dr. Jefferson, you sure do a great job for your patients! I'm a retired RN way down in South Texas. And so happy I am!!! I like watching your methodical work on those hapless men and women. I'm thankful I don't have foot problems. Yet! 🗽🌻🌹🇺🇸🙂😃
WOW! I felt his pain. I see my Podiatrist every 2 to 3 months. I am indebted to his work and his staff. I have walking shoes with insoles. I am absolutely blessed. Blessings Always Ms.P ❤️ 🙏🏿
How could the supposed doctor he saw before you leave that corn in his foot? There was no excuse other than he/she did not know how to remove it or did not care. Thank goodness he came and saw you, a doctor who knows how to care for people and make them feel so much better. Thank you for being such an excellent podiatrist.
I said it once and I will say it again, you need your own tv show. You are a great Doctor, have the patience of Job and are absolutely hilarious without being condescending. Love you.
Interesting! About calluses...on a past video you recommended ammonium lactate for callused skin. I get fissues on on one heel that are painful to walk on. I have tried several treatments, none lasting. Got the AL 12% from big box on line retailer. OMG. Overnight amazing results. Day three..like these feet belong to someone much younger than my 72 yrs. Thank goodness for you and The Toe Bro for my healthier, happy feet!¹
Wow! That was incredible! It thought the first corn was gnarly because the center was almost white, but that second one. Holy cow! You are amazing and so good with your patients. Thanks to your patient for allowing us to watch his procedure. You rock Dr. J!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁
Thanks for documenting this impressive condition. I appreciate you talking with the patient about their condition. Many times practitioners want to make small talk when patients are concerned about their condition. Great job removing huge corn delicately
This gentleman is a stoic, brave man who clearly has endured years of pain. It is like walking on a ball bearing with every step… Life can be pretty miserable when your feet hurt all the time. I hope his feet heal up well enough that he goes dancing! Dr. Jefferson, you are a kind, caring, and very capable foot doctor. I like how you handle that scalpel. No wasted movements. I would trust my tootsies to you for sure! 🕺🏿💃🏽🦶🥰
YAY!!!! You’re back!!!!!! I certainly feel for this gentleman. I had a melanoma removed from the bottom of my foot so I know how painful the removal procedure is. I’m glad to see his foot is all better. Great work as always Dr. Jefferson!!!! 😊😊😊
I feel your pain brotha literally. I did the second half of a deployment with one in my foot and had to wait until we got back stateside for a podiatry consult. Good on you doc. You really helped that gentleman
I JUST LOVE DR. J HE is an Awesome Excellent doctor that anyone would love to have ☺️ I sure wish that he was in Illinois 😀 because he'll definitely have a million patients with his awesome bedside manner , advice, and professional care.. 👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏
I felt this man's pain. Your an amazing doctor!! I watch almost all of your videos and your not only helping but teaching your patients and us viewers so much! God bless you
Kevan, I am so impressed with the way you treat your patients. Your dedication to helping them needs to be shown to others in the medical field. I hope your patients understand your dedication and tell you how grateful they are for your help. I thank you for helping them and showing them that you care. God bless you ❤️
Bless this man. He took it like a trooper. The doctor reassured him the whole time and finally got that devil of a rock out of his foot. Ouch. He’s going to feel like dancing in a few days. Thank you doctor for sharing this man’s story.
Hi DC Foot Doctor! So glad to see an upload to YT as I have missed you and your patient’s foot issues. Always educational and very informative. Thank you DCFD & kind patient for allowing us into your treatment of your foot issues. Hope they are feeling much better after having them shaved down.
I know I've said this a couple times now, but I really appreciate how straightforward you are with your patients. You ask penetrating (haha, get it?) questions that get them to understand that this is a problem that needs to be managed better, especially if they have other conditions like diabetes. Btw, "walking on a toothache" was pretty creative, never heard that!
Hi Dr Jefferson! Really missed you! So great to see you back! As I watched this video, something else really stood out to me.Your patients come in with painful problems that can cause them to miss work, stop being active, and messes up their daily lives. You validate what they are going through! You verify it's all real! Their families also hear that they have been suffering for real! Sometimes that can be a big boost in the healing process.
So glad to see you back! We missed you. Great job on this poor patient; thanks for all the information, as I had never seen anything like that before. Hope he feels much better now.
Omg. That was so cool!! I'm so glad you were able to help him! I assisted Treatment Nurses in a Nursing Homes. And I couldn't get in ‘THERE’ and debride the dead skin!! Most were diabetic foot ulcers. And I loved it. There's nothing like seeing new skin, after peeling away dead skin!!
I’m always amazed at what our body can produce. I’m also amazed at God’s infinite power to create doctors like you. You make Everyone feel like their on your playing field. That’s why I watch you. You never demean anyone and always give respect. More doctors need to be like you😇
When you have a toothache or one of those under your foot, the pain is unrelenting. You can’t get away from it. It’s like you hurt all over. The relief he must have felt when you got rid of those is beyond description.
YEAH, Dr. Jefferson is back. This looks very painful, I can definitely see why he couldn't walk. I'm sure his feet feel 100% better, and he has a sense of humor. Have a Blessed week Dr. J, and fam.🥼🩺
