Biz Nasty. Not even close. He might not play anymore, but he's one of the funniest dudes ever. Look up his interviews with Claude Giroux when they went to Vegas for the Awards when Giroux was on the cover of the NHL13. You get a plus one when you go, and Giroux brought Biz. And Biz said he basically invited himself. Talks about the strip clubs and clubbing with King Henry. (The 3 of them are friends). It's funny.

NLL games are great because the players are playing for the love of the sport, and not a paycheque, which is refreshing. I was lucky enough to see the Roughnecks win their first 2 championships at home, and also the all-star game at home.
being from buffalo we have a huge lax fan base especially with fact that rochester and toronto are so close we can go most of the games a year. i have 2 season seats 9 rows off the feild one section off from the center section and only pay $600 total for the whole season. every single person i have taken to a game has left excited and say how they are the most fun sports game they have ever been to. the fact that there is music, beach balls, fighting and the announcer talking and createing chants the entire game is such a great atmosphere. hockey games are like a chess match while its going and nll games are a party. might help that the bandits are typically top of the league every year but if every other barn is as lively as ours is i really dont understand why it hasn't taken off tbh. the face that the players only average like 20k a season shows they are in it for the love of the game and i feel like the competition is so much better than any other sport
I played lacrosse back in high school and always tried to go to rush games back when they were in edmonton. At the time I even got to meet the goalie at the time Aaron Bold. Man, I haven't watched lacrosse since the old days of the MILL and the Detroit Turbos back around 1990. Fun sport. I even played goal for a season of indoor lacrosse in 92/93.
I'm a proud member of Bandits Mafia. Buque played one season for us, 2017-18. He did fine, but inexperience was on display when the time came, especially in times where Buffalo played from behind. Beginning this season, not including 2020-21 because no season happened due to the pandemic, Buque had an avarage of one team per season, literally. Buffalo, then New England (now Albany), New York, Vancouver, and now Saskatchewan. It's great to see his confidence go up as long as the team is playing well, specifically the defense, and he remains starter, which is a definite help for his confidence. Was sad to see him go sign somewhere else in the offseason. But I do believe he is part of the trend in the NLL where younger goaltenders are seeing playing time go up, and the assessment for who is a solid starter takes place.
I played lacrosse as a kid in Ontario and me and my dad could go watch a game within an hour drive from our summer cottage. We went to see Six Nations against whoever. Seats were cheap, food was good. The games were INCREDIBLY high paced and rough... I for those that don't know the game. There's three sports you should watch. Lacrosse, Irish hurling and Calcio storico. Have fun. Lol
I agree I went to my first bandits game last year for game 1 of the finals. I only went cause I went to pick up my Alex Tuch Sabres jersey and saw the bandits jersey. I started talking to the cashier and he told me to check it out. I did and I can’t believe the bandits aren’t talked about more in buffalo… if it’s not Sabres or Bills it’s not talked about. The NLL needs to grow. And I think getting the games to espn will help the league
Love the NLL but haven't been to a game in a handful of years. Once my son is a bit older we'll have to make the trek into Toronto to catch the Rock again. Last game I saw ended something like 15-12 for the Rock and the action never stopped.
