@@relaxcutglue .... Well I know one day we will meet and I will get to meet other subscribers that have left. Hilarious! Comments and I will move heaven and earth to be there!
So happy to hear everyone had a great time at the Meet & Greet! Your Goddaughter sounds absolutely adorable! Love all these hummingbirds! Have a great night!
I think there's a butterfly in the center of the sunflower...I was shouting, use the "birds & butterflies"!! 😘🤭🐦🌻🦋 So happy that your Meet & Greet was so fun!! 😃
I’m so happy to hear in your voice that the meet and greet was a success! This glue book is so colorful and beautiful. And the magazine from 2010, amazing!
Thank you so much! I so wish you could've been there, it really was a blast! Next time will be even better because we all wont be so anxious about it. I do hope you'll be able to come to my retreat whenever I get the details finalized! No pressure though, I realize that traveling isn't cheap by any means!
Awww thank youuuu!! I wish you lived closer as well. I am currently working on a retreat that will be a few days long for those who would like to come from out of town.
Hi Nicole. I "accidentally" came across your channel and I became a subbie a little while ago. Thank you for all the inspiration and giving me the push to get started. I am joining the Glue Book Community after spending more than 2 decades Scrapbooking, card making and Bible Journaling. I wanted to share a little tip that I decided on after not being able to choose which side of the page to use. I add either the single page or even multiple pages in as a "TIP-IN" you can use washi tape to create a "HINGE" of sorts. I actually have been using a really clear/transparent medical tape called "MicroPore" tape. Sometimes I make the "hinge on the spine side which basically creates another page to your journal. Other times I make the hinge on the loose side (especially if the page is is smaller than the notebook.) If the hinge is on the loose side, then the "Tip-In" is a fun flap that opens up and out wide. It's something different and unexpected. I find this a great way to add in awesome 2-page spreads that happen to also have awesome images on the "back" side as well. If the backing image is not a full size page, you can collage on it to cover up the bits you want to hide. I hope that made sense. Anyhow, it's just a thought. Have an AH-MAZING day!
Awesome! What color did you get? We only had Orange, Yellow, and Green. You will hopefully be at the next one, I think you will really enjoy it. It's so fun to meet everyone in person and glue together.
Thank you Donna! It's been an ok Monday, it didn't go as originally planned but it's been good aside from that. I spent a lot of time outside, walking Zeena, Cooking with Andrew, Brushing the dogs, Rocking in my chair...so I will say it's been a good day! Hope you've had a great start to your week!
So happy for you❣️I'm glad it was a fun day 😃 Wish I could have been there 😊 Your gluebook is looking fabulous 👌 Maybe you could put that little hat on one of your birds! 🐦 😅
Sounds like the retreat was just so much fun! At my mix media class this morning one of the woman told us how she and her husband used their smoker and a corn beef brisket to make pastrami. I didn’t get all the details but it might be something your family might want to try if they can find a recipe. Or just wing it!
Anxiety is the pits for sure...I hope that once you get there and get settled you'll feel so much better. That sounds like a lot of fun, I can't wait to hear how it goes!
FYI, a set of Hummingbird forever U. S. postage stamps just came out! Check at your post office or you can order them online from the USPS. Enjoy! 😺😽🐈👵
Sorry I missed the meet and greet. I want to get to the next one. If you want a more quieter place maybe the Gresham or Fairview library. Or cobblestone creek studios in Damascus.
Oh no Janice! I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope we find a cure for cancer in my lifetime, it's just awful. I will be keeping her in my prayers my friend. HUGS!
Hi Nicole. I’m so glad that everyone had a great time yesterday! I so wish I lived closer to your area! I have a quick question, when you are harvesting, do you ever find and cut something for a different glue book, or does that get too confusing? I ask because as I was watching you harvest this birds &blooms magazine, I thought the page you read about menopause had a lot of purple(lilac) color that could be used for a color themed glue book. I’m asking because I am new to this and love to hear insight from you. Thanks so much!
Hellllooooo!! Great question!! The answer is YES! If I see something that I like, such as the coins I talked about in this video, I will cut them up for my random glue books or any glue book that I think they will work well in. Any time I harvest, I cut out any and/or all things that I want to glue. Then I put them in the coordinating basket. If I don't feel like fussy cutting it right away, it goes in a basket to be fussy cut at a later date. That is just my process so feel free to use the same or come up with one that works best for you Feel free to ask away whenever you have any questions, I love to help when I can!
I put them on a shelf on the wall in my Craft Room, and I look through them when I need inspiration, or just because, it's fun to look at past art work. They also make great coffee table books. I treat my Glue Books like a journaler would treat their completed journals. They never get thrown away. I do not ever leave blank pages.
Oh no!! My very favorite corner rounder has three different sizes of corners to cut, and I LOVE IT!! The large corner is what is works best for Composition Notebooks. Here is my Amazon Affiliate link to the my favorite corner rounder:amzn.to/3TnItTg

Funny you should mention that because Andrew and I just watched a video on that and wanted to make pastrami!! Great minds think alike!!
The anxiety thing happens to me all the time. I’m going to a craft retreat in May and feel anxious about it but excited about it at the same time. 😊😊

Watching your video and thinking....Sometimes you just have to buy a magazine. So you can use both sides, you know.
So much fun to watch!

I agree my friend!
Please use your copier and print out the pix that are back to back. You don't have to do without! 😺👵
