The female protagonist runs like she shat her pants
I will never understand writing characters as “friends” and then proceeding to show them treat each other like shit. Or at least Pax, who is really channeling Chloe Price in being an unlikable/insufferable asshole.
Those two LiS writers really seem to love horrible people with troubling anti-social behavior and a lack of empathy.
Being anti-social and lacking empathy is considered "quirky and relatable" to people who spent too much time on Tumblr in high school. I have a theory that the post-WW2 suburbs were designed to encourage anti-social behavior and ideology, but that's too long and boring to fit in a RUclips comment.

@@gkpoo1773 Yeah but this game, somehow, is so boring and overwhelming at the same time. They just don't shut up, ever, and the shit they say is meaningless. I feel like at least in Life is Strange games, there are moments of quiet.

Doesn't want to add murdering people to her guilty conscience yet... She murdered people in the first scene. So does that mean she feels no guilt over that, or that the game forgot they've killed before?
I could be misremembering, but I thought the start was a flash forward. It hasn't happened yet in the story.
@@Abcdefg-tf7cu That woman who was trapped under a thing fixed the main character's arm, which was injured from something that happened before the intro. In the intro she's bleeding and stuff. It seems to go "planning scene" >> "something happened. A theft?" >> car scene where Sai killed people >> more stuff like lifting that car and getting on the bus
I'm disappointed he picked less combat. The combat is hysterically hilarious.

The voice acting is horrible, the main character is literally just casually reading the lines out in combat and while suposedly "shouting" at them
Why does she keep saying Ahhregon? In the dystopian future does everyone mispronounce it that way instead of mispronouncing it "Oregawn?" Is this worldbuilding?
I answered this question for myself and it's because it's Dominique Tipper from the Expanse trying to do an American accent

I am not trying to defend any member from this band because they're all awful, boring and annoying at the same time, but I do feel sorry for Noam. They talk about having a bad past and being neglected from their family, and Pax is just like "cool... I don't care now please be my friend and get shot also aim at the non prosthetic arm if possible lol". She's acting this way towards everyone she meets that is trying to help too. Narcissistic power fantasy ahh writing.
Edit: apologies. this comment got the story wrong and there is a past between these two which is in the same part. I fell asleep alright, really hard to get into this game. Idk how Adum does it 😭
They used to be together. It's reasonable to assume something could've happened in that relationship to make Pax act like that towards Noam. Not saying Pax isn't being a major bitch towards anyone and everyone, though.
They revealed that Pax is 4 months pregnant 10 minutes before the game ends. I don't think the writer(s) are intelligent or talented enough write past lore for these two lmao
@@StevenSenile I'll never be surprised again by usually incompetent people's inconsistent bouts of competence. It happens, and it happens a lot. Like a hobby chef always overcooking eggs by 5 min but that one time they do a perfect 6-7 min for some unknown reason. I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt.
