About why you should unplug the pedal set. I of course didn't read it and found out why. It's worth knowing because clearly a lot of people have done this as there are posts about the result of doing so online. What I found is that after the firmware update the brake pedal was rediculusly sensitive, no pressure to full was basically an on off switch. I did a couple things and I'm not sure which fixed it so I will just list them here. First I updated the pedals firmware by plugging them directly into the pc, then I refreshed the firmware update on the wheel base without the pedals plugged in, I then restarted my PC and wheel and the brake pedal was fine after that. Also it is worth noting that for some reason this wheel calibrates the pedals every time its started, so at first the brake pedal feels too sensetive but a few hard presses calibrates it and it goes back to normal.
I have one. They are Trash. The force feedback feels so great, until the drive shaft starts breaking loose. then it's total trash can material. For me it was at 60 hours of use. Also from the factory the padel shifters stick on both sides. So you have to drive automatic. DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU THESE ARE WORTH BUYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I have PS5 and PC, my Fanatec covers my needs, but this looks good. I like the dashboard, button box,load cell and all the tweak,twiddle and customisation options. £589 on Amazon or better still £629 from Turtle Beach with a 10% Gametech discount makes £567. Seems quite good to me for DD wheel, pedals, dash and button box. SYITNO
Will eventually have to replace my T150, any good suggestions for a 'modern' upgrade? 😎
is this worth the upgrade coming from thrustmaster tsxw or should i go something stronger than this? also any news on different style wheels coming?
Pleased to see more people entering the DD space. On initial inspection this seems like good value, but in my opinion its £200 too expensive. this should be targeted at people wanting to get into Sim racing for the first time or replacing a Logitech or thrustmaster setup. But at this price, why wouldn't you go with Fanatec or Moza?

I just got this wheel and let me say why I disagree. The equivelant Fanatec wheel and pedals +table clamp comes to £566.97 however that doesn't include shipping and import duties for anyone outside the EU, when they get added on it ends up being a fair bit more than the Velocityone race and more of a hastle to return if anything goes wrong. Not only that but the uncertainty around Fanatec right now pushed me away from them. Moza I think is the current best option but they are still more expensive. The r5 base + ES wheel + SR-P pedal set (load cell) + table clamp comes to £671 and is less powerfull. Yes the bundles are cheaper but also doesn't have a load cell so is not equivalent. I thought the same thing as you at first but by the time I had put together the baskets on Moza and Fanatec the price of the Turtle Beach wheel made sense. Also remember while the base price is £630, the 10% off code brings it to £567 on their website and if you look elsewhere you can get it for as cheap as £513.
