This fish was caught on a blue and white mini turbo slammer by billy baits. We were also trolling a Rapala magnum deep diving plug. The trolling speed was around 9 miles per hour. This is not considered high speed trolling.
My nephews and I are fishing in the Florida keys. On this trip, we caught a wahoo, tuna, and mahi-mahi. This video shows the excitement of catching the wahoo. At first, I thought it was skipjack tuna but was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a wahoo. After the trip, we cleaned the fish and cooked it in some olive oil.
    Thanks for watching,
    Captain Cody

Yeah, winter months are best for wahoo in Florida. We just lucked into this one. Thanks for watching!

Dude your handling of that fish with those kids was not good. Just a graze and it's a hospital trip. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Wahoo are typically pretty worn out but by the time they get brought in the boat, if they are flapping around a lot they go straight into the box.
