Again if Cole is hurt it gives him time to heal, rest, while keeping the entire storyline intact instead of having to stop the feud until he's healthy. Plus it adds more questions like Who? Why? The one thing that can really trash a great feud is a injury, but IF the writers can figure out a way to substitute, add, and manipulate the story? It just makes it so much better and interesting. The creative writing team at AEW has been spot on perfect this entire year. But this? Taking MJF's devil gimmick, throwing it back at him, and having so many potential questions and possibilities? THAT has been the best of them all!

Cole as the Devil with The Kingdom and undisputed era would be 6 people. There are 7 or 8 masked men in this segment. Could be the young bucks are helping him too? They share the connection of being in factions with Cole and the appeared to turn heel before disappearing. Though Cole did betray them by having Redragon beat them up a few years ago

If we go back, there's usually 4-5 guys that attack. If Kyle is the devil, it makes sense to only have 4 attackers (Bobby, Roddy, and the kingdom, and the devil makes 5) most of the time due to Kyle's injury. Also I don't recall the kingdom and Roddy being attacked by the devil, so it fits the prediction.

I cannot wait for the AEW timeline on the devil storyline. This storyline has been so dope. They've been able to weave multiple stars into the storyline and do it in a way that keeps fans guessing. In this day and age that is not easy to do but they have done it very well.

Think about it, MJF has been the most despicable heel in AEW until Adam Cole came along who was always a great heel in the past. He convinced MJF to become friends and turn face. He built MJF up to be trusting of him and to be the best scumbag he can be to where he starts believing in the idea... They won the ROH tag titles together but Cole couldn't beat MJF one on one... He then conveniently gets hurt and MJF has to defend those titles solo and with random people that are not Cole. MJF's devil mask disappears from the place that Cole has the easiest access to and Cole is now absent almost always. Adam Cole eventually reveals himself as the devil which in turn destroys MJF's psyche after MJF has already been beaten down by too much of a work load, which mind you Cole is not worn down at all. I'm not saying you're wrong because AEW has done much dumber things. The only way it should be Adam is if they don't reveal it until around April or May. I think it would be best for the ebbing company if it's Tony Khan. He at least has the authority to make MJF miserable. He could maybe use Adam against him. Also Tony's heel like attitude in real life would make more sense and get him respect back.
@@Fencellisk I don't know man... I think Cole is the best and most logical choice... TK wouldn't be anything but a thorn in MJF's side whereas Cole would be devastating... Think about it, MJF has been the most despicable heel in AEW until Adam Cole came along who was always a great heel in the past. He convinced MJF to become friends and turn face. He built MJF up to be trusting of him and to be the best scumbag he can be to where he starts believing in the idea... They won the ROH tag titles together but Cole couldn't beat MJF one on one... He then conveniently gets hurt and MJF has to defend those titles solo and with random people that are not Cole. MJF's devil mask disappears from the place that Cole has the easiest access to and Cole is now absent almost always. Adam Cole eventually reveals himself as the devil which in turn destroys MJF's psyche after MJF has already been beaten down by too much of a work load, which mind you Cole is not worn down at all. Cole beats MJF for the title. Idk, seems to make way more sense than trying to copy WWE's "it was me Austin, it was me all along" story arc that fell flat 🤷♂️
