Thanks a lot :)
The Doctor is in 🙌😎
i was refreshing the channel to see your take on it. So tired of clickbaity channels.
Same here.
Yep. TropicalTidbits and In2thinair are the only weather channels worth subscribing to. These two have been very helpful and informative for me for several years now, and when you live in hurricane alley its crucial to have info like this.
No kidding. Levi is the real deal. I'm not sure what qualifications these other guys have.
Agreed. No sensationalism and only educated forecasting without insult to intelligence. Always the best!
Thank you for this definitive forecast of things to come. Living in South Louisiana I am praying for my fellow Gulf States occupants that this will only stay a tropical storm.
South Louisiana resident here!
Same from Tampa Bay
You rock Levi! Thank you from Florida. You provide the most objective and helpful information.
He is about the only one I trust to give facts without hype
Got 2 boat captains with me, we're following in key west
Best weather channel on RUclips IMO. I found this channel years ago from the comment section of weather underground.
DITTO. :)
Thanks from Tampa Bay!
I'm almost an hour inland from a potential landfall of the greater Cedar Key area --- I pray from anyone in the path of this system.
Prep now rather than waiting until the last minute.
Stay safe!
Look up the history of storms that impacted cedar key. I’m starting to think we’re in a hot spot and we should expect this every year.
Ah yes this is who we look forward to for storms like this, welcome back Levi from that mini break
I always wait for your information to arrive. So detailed and to the point. Love watching your forecast up here in Newfoundland
Thanks Levi! A lot of us were waiting to hear your expert opinion on this storm. Always very much appreciated!!!
The report everyone was waiting for. Best no nonsense discussion in a sea of click bait. 👍🏻
Thank you from NW FL
As a utility worker I was waiting on your take. Thanks Levi ill be tuned in until its time to work.

So happy to hear your insight on this storm. I trust you! Your NO hype and proffessional manner is appreciated!
Thank you!!!
Thank you Dr. Cowan for this explanation of the factors in play at this time! 👏 ❤
Thank you Dr Cowen, from south Mississippi.
Watching closely from Clearwater Fl on the coast.
Thanks Levi
Good to see you again from the central panhandle of Florida.
Thank you Dr.Cowan..🙏🙏🙏
Thanks!
Thank you!
I’ve been following since Irma - thank you as always for all you do, sending love from Florida.
Thanks Levi, I've been waiting for this video. I saw a video by Accuweather a couple days ago warning that there were all the elements in place for formation of a tropical system and that people on the gulf coast should be getting prepared because conditions were right for a major hurricane. There was a LOT of scoffing in their comments. That it was a big "nothing burger". People dismissed the models that showed possible formation of a tropical system, coupled with high ocean heat to a greater depth to lend fuel to a forming system. A few of us who understand how these gyres can spin up were concerned, but the majority of commenters were mocking them. I hope those people don't live on the Gulf coast, or if they do, they're paying attention now despite their scorn.
Thank you Dr. Levi. We appreciate your input
Thank you Levi so good to see you’re back, we will be watching it closely!
Been waiting for this to drop all morning long. Thanks as always for your awesome breakdowns.
This is my go to site for storm info. I live in Florida so I am definitely interested in seeing where it might come in.
always so clear to understand, thank you so much Levi. Kudos
Thank you for explaining about stacking the low and mid level vortices into one future storm. I saw those 2 different cloud layers this morning, and wondered if they had been sheared apart, or just formed up separately. Appreciate your clear explanations, Dr. Cowan!
Watching from Fairhope, Al. Thank you!
The latest HAFS-B forecast has some ridiculous numbers for Nine - a central pressure of 888mbars & max winds of 168knots! Fingers crossed for those in Florida that doesn't happen...
This is destined to be legendary storm
Maybe not
Let us pray that its not. 🙏
Suwanee County is in its path
AGAIN!!!! 😢
This is the video I've been waiting for ever since seeing this storm on the models a few days ago
Thank you, Levi!
Thank you, Levi...
Thanks so much for your forecasts.
Thank you! The track and dates remind me of Hurricane Ian in 2022
Thank you Mr. Levi for the updates. I was waiting for your updates. but it's ok because I watched Mark the weather man plus. And he said it. But thank you very much, from saint Petersburg fla.
Thank you.
Thank you for the updates Dr. I trust you the most!
Thanks Levi. You're the best!
Thank you so much
Thanks for the great summary on Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine.
Last time I was this early hurricane Dorian was just a dust devil in the beaches of Senegal 🇸🇳
Good afternoon Dr Levi.
Am soooooo happy I found you, I can depend on your accurate updates to tell me how PTC9 will affect us in Jamaica .
Thank you
Thx Doc
Cat 5!
I'm in the mountains of NC...this is looking a little rough for us up here
Nature Coast thanks you Levi! Now where are those Tums...
I live in Tallahassee. I am prepared for the worst and hoping for the best. Got everything I need but gas is going to be tricking taking the kid back and forth to school each day. womp, womp.
My wife thinks this will be huge. I tend to agree, bigger than we've seen in years.
Shhhh! 😂
@@Lori5564 👻
You must be a complete joy to be around. 😂
Thank you sir as always
Waiting anxiously to see where this thing goes. Hoping it will be slow to develop, but probably more likely it will develop fast. Sigh.
As always you are the best!
It should be noted that while it's hard to take them too seriously before the storm has even consolidated, most of the hurricane models are showing this coming ashore as a high-end cat 4 or cat 5 storm. This doesn't mean that it will for sure be that strong and it's good not to panic, but people on the coast should know that a storm that strong is not out of the realm of possibility, and you should be thinking about readying your plans and property for it.
Again, it's too early to take those models seriously and things like shear from the upper low could disrupt it, just keep in mind that the upper limit for this storm is potentially very high, and prepare accordingly.
This might be the big one
Is anyone else feeling deja vu from the storm earlier this season?
Your so far the best information I ever see concerning storm diagnosis. Thank You Brother.
Me in Tampa: Im in danger
No way, tropical activity during this time of year? Unreal.
Key west checking in... Following, this is looking like another Ian
Levi, you draw really REALLY good circles. just sayin. always good info thank you!
Levi is the GOAT
Best of luck to the West Coast
Nice
You think Coastal NC/SC could have impacts if the eastward trend continues? Just had 20 inches of rain in parts of Brunswick/New Hanover counties within a day just last week from PTC8
I am wondering the same thing. We do NOT need even one more drop of rain here! I think we are going to have a ton of rain, I am preparing accordingly incase we get dumped on again
THATS COOL. IF BY CHANCE ITS A CAT 2, iM GOOD. 3 is where I am hunkered down & freightened but not so muuch a 2 . u forget, we rode out 10 hours of IAN
Looks exactly like Ian’s path
Mmm uh-oh
RUclips hid this from my sub feed.
Anyone think Ill be able to fly out of FLL to RDU on Saturday 9am?
Have they switched away from using the "invest" terminology?
I believe this storm area has been an Invest, but it’s developing pretty quickly so the terminology change makes it possible to post storm watches and warnings, where as an Invest, those can’t be posted.
It still looks like it's going to hit land before the US
If you enjoy living under a Hurricane Watch ? Move to Florida which has become a Magnet for Hurricanes .
helene wheels
Panhandle and Apalachicola...you are on notice. Be prepared and may God be with you.
And to think the Project 2025 wants to commercialize NOAA. Totally weird.
If it'll get people killed so that some degen billionaire can make an even bigger profit margin, they want to commercialize it.
Amazing as always Levi!
