+2.50DS/-1.00DC x 180
+1.50DS/+1.00DC x 090
Can u explain how
-0.50ds/+1.00dc*90, +0.50ds/-1.00dc*180.
At 66cm with homatropin
-0.5Ds/+1D at 90
To be an optometry student this video is really very helpful sir.
Thank you 😊
Can tell me scope of during optometry course
@@OptometryAcademy😢
Best video on retinoscopy so far. Now I can do this confidently. Thank you Sir
Thank you for a very well explained video, sir.
Should the power lens be included with the working distance?
By deducting tonus allowance our answer would be
+0.50/-1.00×180
Thank you sir, very easy understood 😊
Without subtracting working distance and cycloplegic
+1.50 / +1.00 X 90
Iam A Optometrist Student No Idea In Retinoscope Watch Your Video Helpful Sir Thankuuu😍😍😍💯%
😊
This video is very much helpfu for us.
Thank you 😊
omgggg!!! tysm, very informative and detailed discussion. I'm so happy I finally found your video after hours of searching the net about this topic.
Thank you so much 😊🙏
I never seen this type of helping vdo and very very very easy to understand. Thankuu so muchh
Thank you so much 😊
V. Helpful, thank you sir
Thank you so much
I've a question.
Will we get only two axis 90 and 180?
No other axis as given on autoref?
Good animations and well explained. One thing though. You're mixing and interchanging meridians and axes. They are different
Without any tonus allowance subtraction ,our ans would be
+1.00×90
sir, can you please explain the question which you have given in the last of this video?
Working distance is 1 meter
Tonus allowance is +0.75 DS
The answer is : -0.25/+1.00 @ 90⁰
very helpful video .. thank you for sharing ur knowledge with us 👍🏻
Thank you so much 😊.
Keep supporting me 😊
@@OptometryAcademy you are welcome sir 😊 please also share cycloplegic refraction procedure step by step
Ok😊
Love u sir...total concept clear I am really happy.... Thank u very much sir....please do more video like this...
Thank you so much 🙏
Thank You Sir Well Explained
Answer of last question is +0.5DS / -1.0DC x180°
Another possible answer is -0.5DS / +1.0DC x 90°
For the first time in practice, I got to understand retinoscopy 😁😁😁😁 Thank you so much
👍
Thank u sir. Very helpful video.❤
Thank you sir for this information 😊
Thank you sir , this video help me a lot 🥰
Amazing video sir thankyou so much ❤❤
Thank u sir well explained
Sph= +1.50 -(+1.50working dist)=0.00
Cyl= +2.50-(+1.50working dist)=+1.00
Now final power={+0.00/+1.00×90°}
Now changing cylinder power (+ to -)
Given,{ +0.00/+1.00×90°}
Now,{ +1.00/-1.00×180°}
Final power to be prescribed:
+1.00dsph/-1.00dcyl×180°
+1.00*90°
At the end you done transposition I think 🤔
@@HashimKhan-bc7jc yes it is transposition. But this makes the Rx more complicated one.. always prescribe the simple one.. and rest depends on patient that which power he/she prefers or accepts during subjective refraction.
You did not subtract tone Allowance.
If you subtract tone Allowance your answer will wrong
But minus /plus is minus Then how come 0 the spherical value ?
what about scisdor effact in eye
For cyl power formula in both example is different ,B-A and A-B .which one is correct ?
Not spoken on sleeve which is first thing..plz explain sr
+1.50/+1.00×90
Awesome video
Thank you very much for this explanation video sir.
Thank you 😊
Very informative!
What nu to be finalise that gives to pt,
-0.50/+1.00x90
What about more or less than 90° angle??? How to see and place on cross?
+0,5-1.0/180 or - 0.5+ 1.0/90
Thankyou so much sir..very helpful video ...
i did not get the point of how to get cyl power..that A n B value
Sir aapne to retinoscopy ki faad🤗 hi di
sir bilkul maza a gya sir.
🤩❤
Thank you so much 😊
Sir ,can you upload a video about flash retinoscopy.
Sir thanks good information
😊
+150+100×90
W.D_150
0 +100×90 if we doing with cyclo..
Then it will be _0.50 +100 ×90 or
+050_100×180
Its amazing sir... thank you so much...
Thank you 😊
Sphere = +1.50, cyl = A-B =+2.50 -(+1.50) = +2.50 - 1.50 = +1.00cyl...So the answer is +1.50Ds/+1.00cyl/90°
The Only right answer here
Did you subtract your working distance?
No the right answer is Plano/+1.00 x 90
Or, +1.00/-1.00x180
Plano/+0.50@90
Very useful video thanks sir
😊🙏
Thanku so much for this vedios
It's really helpful video sir,,, Tusi great ho ,,,, Thanks alot ,,,, I got it Cross form,
😊👍
Valuable ppt👍👍
Sir how to do retinoscopy in squintic patient????
Very nicely explained
Thku sir realy good plz show video in different meridians on same eye
Ok😊
Thank you 😊
Helpful...🥰👍
+1. 50 sph/+1.00cyl@90
+1.50/+1.00x90
Thank you sir
Working distance= 2
Tones allounce =+0:50
Rough estimation=+0:50@90
0.50/-1.00* 180
What to do in scissor reflexe
Why the movement happens ???
Very useful video sir
Nice video sir
Thank you 😊
-0.50ds/+1.00dc×90°
Nice ☺️
thanks..
+0.5/1.0 at 90°
Why you substract +1.50 ? You did not put working lens from the start. Please explain
Here, I am doing retinoscopy from a distance of 66cm. For 66cm we need to subtract+1.50 DS from the retinoscopic value.
You can also do retinoscopy with your working distance in the back of the frame to avoid calculations at the end
Thank u so much sir.....
-0.5 sphere /+1 cylinder 90°
sahi hai ❤️
-0.50/+1.00*90
I am MLOP student your video helpful ❤
Thank you sir well explained. But i want another video for oblique axis neutralization of streak retinoscope. It will be helpful for Optom students
Thank you so much 😊.
Ok ,I will make video on oblique axis
@@OptometryAcademy thank you so much Sir.. It will be helpful for us
-0.50ds/+1.0dc×90°
WHY U DONT USE WORK LENS ???
Thank you my dear Akhilesh 😊
Thank you 😊🙏
Very good video
Sir we subtract only in horizontal meridian so power is +0.50DC × 180
We subtract working distance from both the meridian
Sir we subtrat Working distance both meridian and in cyclo allowance subtract horizontal meridian only sir so the power is +0.50DC × 180
Cyclo allowance also subtract from both the meridian.
Please watch this video again. It is clearly mentioned in the video.
Thank you for your comment 😊
-0.50 +1.00 at 90
What if axis is in 45 degree
+0.50DS
very very helpful to me
Thanks sir 🤗
If distance 1 m or homotropine use +1.00 DS
Very nice ppt👌👌👌
-0.50D/+1.00D x 90°
Thnkyuu sir helpful video 👍👍
Thank you 😊
+1.50DSph/+1.00 DCyl90
Good video sir
Homatropine -> 2% = 0.50 DS
Working distance = 1.50 Ds
So net Result is
-0.50/+0.50×90°
Very helpful vedio Sir..nicely explained👏👏
Sir if we are using tropac-p for dilation than in retinocopy finding how much tonus allowance will be deducted
Thank you. 😊
We deduct 0.50 from the retinoscopy finding.
Thank you Sir for ur reply
0.50D is deduction is given for homatropine ..the same is for Tropicamide +phenyephrine, can u pls tell me the reference for this
For cyl value it's B-A or A- B ?? in both examples they are different
Thnx sir
Very Good
