    I have 80W omtech. I did the machine settings like in your video, and then I went to device setting Ruida. I cant find the RD works. Am I missing something?

      what do you mean you cannot find the RD works? Do you have the program downloaded? If not there is a link on my website here to download RDworks

      @@oeadesignworks If we never use RD Works, do we still need to download it and change the settings you changed? I only use Lightburn, so just wondering if I still need to do the RDworks changes

      @anthonyalbanese456 it's best to download ans install it to make the changes. Then you can delete rdwork if you want

    I don't see blow type in the options in RdWorks. Under the other section its just not there.
    Do I need to update my Ruida Controller firmware? I have a Ruda 644XG Red 80W with RDLC -V8.00.67.

      Turns out the lightburn setting was enough to get both solenoids working.

      glad u got it to work. the setting in RDWorks is used to keep the solenoid from switching on and off repeatedly. so its helps save your solenoid from wearing out sooner. if you dont see the settings it could be you have downloaded an old version of rdworks. if u r still interested try downloading an installing the version linked on my website

    Hello. I could use some help in troubleshooting my issue after trying to do this upgrade. I am not sure what to do at this point. Not sure if I possibly damaged the control board that I can't get air assist to work properly, or if there is a wrong setting. At this point air assist work whether I have it selected or not, and it will not power the low pressure solenoid. The "Status" pin seems to fire the high pressure on, but the Aux Air pin doesn't seem to actuate the solenoid.

    Hello, is it possible to use two air filters/regulators with two 24v valves? Does ruida controller have two separate 24v connections to open each one depending if cutting or engraving, and when nothing happened both will be closed?

    • @oeadesignworks
      @oeadesignworks  Год назад

      Just follow the setup in this video. It runs two solenoids, which are activated at different times depending if you have air assist on or off in lightburn. The only difference would be to replace the needle valve with a 2nd regulator. The current setup in the video does what u r asking. Just has a needle valve instead of a regulator, so with needle valve, you can't accurately set the psi for engraving like you would be able to with a 2nd regulator

      @@oeadesignworks Thanks for replying. In stand by mode, meaning turned on the laser but not cutting or engraving, the air flows with low pressure all the time?

    • @oeadesignworks
      @oeadesignworks  Год назад

      @Dimitris Mls with my setup air will flow low pressure anytime Amy layer is actively running. High pressure will only activate when a layer with air assist turned on is actively running. If laser is sitting idle like with lid open or not running at all no air should blow which is why I prefer this setup as it's not wasting air and making compressor run unnecessarily

      I've not heard of that. Maybe have to check with lightburn on how to get that setting to show up
