I absolutely LOVE your channel. While I’ve been sewing for about 65 years and making bags for over 10, I always find some interesting tidbit I can use. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge.

Really useful information! But the real reason I clicked on the video was to come here and say *thank you* for using the correct spelling of "discreetly"! Soooo many times I see people misspelling it "discretely," which is a totally different word. Props to you for getting it right! 😃

I am going to use these tips. I think they would work on most interfacings/stabilizers, definitely the non-woven ones. Thank you! 😊

Hi. Great tip, thank you. I am not sure how the painters tape will react with a regular iron. I would perhaps put a pressing cloth between iron and tape. I will experiment on that tonight.
    Thanks Nicole 🙂

This is a great point, I always use a teflon sheet when fusing Decovil to vinyl so I failed to specifically mention that; though I have been quite impressed with how well the painters tape tolerates the heat (and all the other things I’ve been putting it through lately 🤣)

How hot was the press to fuse it to you vinal

I use the wool setting on my steam press, which is about 300 degrees F, and a teflon sheet. Some vinyl tolerates heat better than others so definitely experiment with scraps!
