- In this Quick Fix video I will show you how to join your scraps of Decovil light together to create an almost invisible seam, thus reducing waste and saving money on one of the more expensive stabilizer options.
I absolutely LOVE your channel. While I’ve been sewing for about 65 years and making bags for over 10, I always find some interesting tidbit I can use. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge.
Thank you so much!
Really useful information! But the real reason I clicked on the video was to come here and say *thank you* for using the correct spelling of "discreetly"! Soooo many times I see people misspelling it "discretely," which is a totally different word. Props to you for getting it right! 😃
Thank you! And thanks for noticing. 😄
Thankyou, I love your channel, you provide such fantastic hints and tips which are so beneficial to us beginners or less experienced bag makers
I am going to use these tips. I think they would work on most interfacings/stabilizers, definitely the non-woven ones. Thank you! 😊
Fab idea ! I have so many small pieces that I will now be able to use 😊 love your tips & tricks/channel ❤
I really love your tips. You are amazing. I would have never thought of these things.
Thank you, I’m glad to share! ☺️
I absolutely love these tips! I’ve learned so much.

Another fabulous tip 👏I look forward to seeing these great shares 😊
Like many others have stated, I really like your tips and tricks videos! And all your others as well!
Thanks so much!
Hi. Great tip, thank you. I am not sure how the painters tape will react with a regular iron. I would perhaps put a pressing cloth between iron and tape. I will experiment on that tonight.
Thanks Nicole 🙂
This is a great point, I always use a teflon sheet when fusing Decovil to vinyl so I failed to specifically mention that; though I have been quite impressed with how well the painters tape tolerates the heat (and all the other things I’ve been putting it through lately 🤣)
Wow girl Love your tips thank you ❤
You're so welcome!
I have loads of scrap cotton interfacing i must use
Thanks so much!
Thanks!
Thank you ☺️
How hot was the press to fuse it to you vinal
I use the wool setting on my steam press, which is about 300 degrees F, and a teflon sheet. Some vinyl tolerates heat better than others so definitely experiment with scraps!
