Keep in mind this year marks the 30th anniversary of the very first year of buick,s 3800, the history of this engine dates back to david buick himself, it was him not general motors originated the first v6 engine in 1912, another thing to remember first it was a roadmaster, then an electra 225, then a park avenue.
It looks new in the video because they filmed a brand new car. I can promise you that they don't look that good 20 years later unless they were kept in museum conditions.
@@BrowningateI see Park Avenues fairly often here in the Midwest and almost all of them are in really good cosmetic condition. Credit their mostly elderly owners.
I miss these cars. Thanks for the video!
This car is so badass, so many luxury features you just don't see on new cars.
These cars are better than some newer cars built today in 2021, the smooth handling and air ride is great for road trips

I love this Park Avenue. One of my favs :)
I agree. This is my FAV design of Park Avenue.
Wow, a car that's almost 20 years old and still looks new and beautiful. Can't wait to get my hands on the 2017 Buick LaCrosse.

I've got both the LaCrosse and the 88 Park Ave. Very happy with Buick.

@@hakeemsd70m Not sure what part of the midwest you're in, but most of those which I've seen are almost rusted in half by now.
@@Browningate Ohio. There's a lot of elderly folks that still drive these cars and keep them clean.
Although improvements, the 1996 Ultra is the one to get.
I drive a 1994 EU Spec Park Avenue. Definitely something else than European cars.
Grabbed a 99 Buick Park Avenue for 175 needed a battery and vacuum line 😂 140k light front deer damage
