I'm glad I go to a college where the biggest drama is that the contractors on the new science building didn't put in enough electricity outlets in it during construction, so not all students can plug in their laptops in class.
Chase Jacobs just wait for it. I thought my uni was immune to the BS, and at most universities it wouldn't escalate like that, but I suspect there are at least some groups that are prone to overreacting on each campus, waiting for the one thing they think will get enough other students on their side to start a riot. 😐
I'm surprised the one I went to had nothing of the sort as well. My only big problem was "oh you moved the main sandwich shop to the other side of the campus." I don't know how bad New York colleges can get, but goddamn I felt lucky in retrospect.
youtube: "HMMM dead person in the thumbnail?...BANNED" Logan Paul: 'I saw a dead body in the suicide forest' (with dead person in the thumbnail) youtube: **puts his video as #1 trending**
Chris Johns This isn't a conversation, it's a forum of self righteous jerk offs. NONE of whom will ever know any fraction of the success I have. pffft.... try again
No, this worthless unwarranted clown being held up as some sort of speaker with any credibility is a terrible thing. He's a fat useless chunk of shit second or third hand vlogger that does absolutely no real journalism. Therefore has zero credibility. Easy to talk about the reporting done by professionals and come off like you're doing something productive when basically you're just doing reaction videos in the realm of news coverage. This idiot isn't doing anything we don't already do without his ignorant commentary. And make no mistake about it, this sheltered little Californian scumbag has no baring on reality. Savagery is something done upon weaklings like him. Not dealt by. Quit blurring the definition of strength in favor of the inept. Please. Thanks.
Ponyponypony Pony you really don't watch his shoes do you..? You're ignorance is now hilarious I honestly hope you're just trolling now as I worry for your ability of understanding if not 😂
There should be a 18+ RUclips section. imagine the revenue RUclips could make from ads about sex toys, condoms, erotic books/novels, sex games, etc....
I always thought 'drinking the Kool-Aid' was a reference to Jonestown and it took me a minute to figure out how people thought that it was referencing toward racism.
AwsmMayCry same, but I find saying "spade is a spade" people think it's racist, but if you look a history of this meaning it just says your calling something as it is. or someone as it is but it's more as saying something the way it is.
Assuming that "drinking the Kool-Aid" is racist, is racist. There was once an incident at a school where the race of the perpetrator was unknown, and the principle of the high school said that it is unacceptable that the student (race unknown) put a black mark against the name of the school. All the dumb folk said she was a racist. The rest of us said "we don't know the race of the perpetrator, why do you assume it was a black kid? Who's the racist now?".
Phill has yet to show that the so called "terrorist" (TM) was in fact assaulting anyone. Moving Froward was right, In that instance he was probably the one being assaulted. At least thats how most men work... "look some random person is yelling at a women we better go bet him up."
I live fairly close to Evergreen College, but I attend a different college. I'm really glad that my campus hasn't had the same kind of issues, but there are protests occasionally. My first quarter there was a walk-out and girls marched into our classroom with a megaphone and screamed at us to walk-out. I was considering joining them after class had ended, but that kind of anger and aggression doesn't get anything done, so I went straight home instead.
No it was directly after the presidential election in regards to Trump. But really it was just a bunch of people outside screaming in anger, it was kind of terrifying really.
Brynley Louise I would have went home to.... and screamed at my neighbors dog with a megaphone for barking and his owner's not cleaning up the piss in the garage for so long that ammonia wafts into my home on breezy days.
Sorry the youngest of our generation have gone all batshit infantile - and you're having to pay egregious sums to try and improve your life while others are afforded a world of opportunity and can't help but shit on it, or terrify those who want to better themselves while at school - a crazy concept I know. It's just idiocy, Trump derangement - what possible good could come of walking out of your expensive class to bark at the moon/the President? smdh
"I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix, angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night" ...wish I had been born a part of THAT generation...the real beatniks, with skin in the game and the actual world to win...
There's a difference between making a decision to be absent from classes and demanding anyone else not attend for any reason. One is self determination the other is a request wherein the answer could be no.
Investigations into the Jonestown massacre and first hand accounts from survivors actually reveal that what happened in Jonestown wasn't a mass suicide. Largely, they were injected with the solution or forced to drink it, including infants and toddlers. While they were essentially brainwashed into believing in Jim Jones, enough to move to Guyana and establish Jonestown, they didn't believe in it strongly enough to think killing themselves was worth it - he just had enough power among a select number to enforce the massacre so that they couldn't be investigated by the American government and "controlled" by an "outsider". I strongly suggest watching the Jonestown documentary before making references to drinking the Kool-Aid - for the majority of victims, it wasn't a choice.
martnRULES seriously! it's painful! I'm making this a test all my friends have to see this. Gay or straight, liberal or conservative, black or white. if you don't cringe after seeing this video we can't be friends.
Its so sad, but there are thousands of people who think that EXACT same way all over the country. Look up The Love Life of an Asian Guy on facebook. Take a look at any post/ comment. Its literally all racist and fucked. The worst part is these people dont even realize they are the exact thing they hate, they masquerade behind virtue to excuse their bigotry.
Exactly, I'm black and I hate those students, their creating more racism than their stopping. Just stop, the guy wasn't even a racist, their fighting hate (which is btw non-existent in this case) with hate, which is provoking even more hate. And I also agree with the indie 500 guy, to the blacks (or others) who are blaming white people for stuff than 200 years and only to those sorts (not the entire race), you are shame to our color and you disgust me.
TrueWOPR dude, he's not mad that the guy had a different opinion. He had a problem with the guy being a crappy person who thinks that people should mind their own business when other HUMAN BEINGS are being harassed and verbally assaulted. He disagrees with shitty selfish people. That's his part of the conversation. You being butt hurt is your part of the conversation.
RUclips says they've had "1,000's of conversations with advertisers" how many conversations have they had with creators? I've seen my ad revenue go from $1/1000 views to less than $0.10/1000 views. Been around $0.10/1000 views for 2 months now. I know a lot of other channels that have been hit like this also and have not seen their ad rev rates return. Shows you who RUclips cares about more.
Creators don't directly give RUclips money so they could care less. I love how in reality the creators are the reason advertisers are "directly" giving them money. The world is such a unusual fish bowl.
Yeah I know Alphabet wouldn't give a shit if RUclips fell off. I'm amazed they still keep it going given how low the profits are from RUclips especially with the adpocalypse.
3:50 flash forward to 2018 when RUclips biggest content creator features a dead body in the thumbnail and somehow fails to be taken down immediately by RUclips LOL...
Seeing racism where none exists is more damaging then many may understand. When I heard the Kool-Aid remark I did wonder what he meant but made no assumptions. Those who made an assumption may want to step back and assess their assumption and maybe others they may have made.
If people could recognize their assumptions and suspend judgement long enough to understand context, the world would be a much better place. Unfortunately, nearly everything worth talking about is linked to our passion and emotion. As a result, our response to many things is often hasty and reactive.
The most qualified person should always get the job, period. Race in no way should be a factor and if you think it should then you are promoting racism.
I absolutely agree. But unfortunately, it's not an uncommon occurrence these days to have systems promoting people to achieve 'diversity' in their ranks, which is just asking for failure due to lack of skills.
Believe it's called "Affirmative action" sadly when they do choose to hire based on skill and education, they could face a lawsuit for choosing "race/ethnicity" even when the person who receive the job is also of the minority (since it isn't disclosed who received the position) and then there's the whole fiasco involving the new hire and his/her proof of education, the interviewers and have them reiterate the questions they gave to both applicants during the interview and explain their responses to the answers to see if they were racially biased and the employer.
The reason it occurs is because of how unequal the fields were due to the massive racism that was rampant not to long ago. Essentially my father who is alive today was 24 when segregation was abolished which would of crippled him and crippled me in chances of succeeding.(I'm not African American, giving an example if I was) Thus the field was completely unbalanced and unfair which caused people to promote diversity since they had far less likely chance of succeeding because of this. Sociologically, anthropologically and psychologically, these effects of discrimination still rain on the kids of today which is why these things are still occurring. While I understand why its frustrating for some people, the reality is the field was never fixed and was heavily unbalanced and still is. People who were poor 55 years ago are most likely still poor today and help didn't really occur in those schools since most are locally funded and federal funding continues to be cut. The reality is a lot of reform still has to occur in the system today to fix the issues of the past, and they still have not occurred. Cheers
ImTheRealMe it wouldn't be prompting racism it would be prompting bigotry. it would actually be racism. "a person effected by someone in power because of their race" is the real term.
amazing how I trust Phil over any other news source. I don't always agree but I love how he looks at BOTH sides and he doesn't try to change the story's to fit his narative, he just tells you exactly what happened, gives his opinion and let's us choose our own opinion and asks us why. and he does point out if you have some good points instead of just saying No. amazing how he is not more well known in the world. maybe people wouldn't be so FAR left and FAR right.
Rolling my eyes that you actually have people angry about your Kool-Aid comment. I work within a large retail store as a third party retailer and on the daily my own boss makes jokes to other employees that seem to be happy for no reason that they "must have drank the Kool-Aid at the morning meeting" and no one is ever offended. Such a snowflake world some people live in! Thanks for all you do, Phil, I love yo face.
Arturo Amson seriously? The word literally describes people who are hyper sensitive and unable to accept opinions that differ from their own. Who's misinformed here? I'm quite simply a woman who doesn't understand why everyone is always so offended.
Gosh I LOVE it when Phil absolutely ROASTS the ignorant commentors. He goes so hard on them. My one dream is to get roasted by Philip DeFranco. If I just act ignorant in the comment section for 4 days it could happen!
The black people kool aid thing blows my mind. Like who has never heard the phrase "drink the Kool aid" before when referring to people showing that level of bad judgment? I get that there's the black stereotype about Kool aid (I'm black ffs I've heard them all) but to not get the whole crazy cultist Kool aid reference just blows my mind. It's referenced all the time on TV so even the dumbest of people should have heard the reference at some point. I have to assume that a lot of these people are just choosing to be offended over non-issues.
Hey Phil! I've been a big fan of you for a long time and I'd just like to voice my support. You're incredible at offering both sides of a story and keeping things real. The fact that some people are so ignorant as to try and bring you down simply because they are uneducated makes me all that much happier that you're still around. My Band Director (who is a very southern very black man) uses the 'drink the kool-aid' reference fairly often and its something that even the freshman understand. Keep educating and keep bringing us the news! Thank you Mr. DeFranco!
Everyone keeps giving Evergreen way too much credit. As a person who has lived in Washington all my life, Evergreen has riots all the time. They flip car and trash their campus. It doesn't matter the issue. Maybe with all the negative attention they're getting from the nation will finally shame them into doing something. I honestly didn't know this was going on because our local news doesn't even report on them anymore.
CyberneticRaven Yup. This Washingtonian can firmly say the same thing. when I was looking at schools to apply to I thought about going there until my grandmother took one look at it and said, don't go. don't go because you like following rules and will just end up hurt or killed because of what your fellow students do on a fairly regular basis. I decided not to argue and boy am I glad I didn't. Loud agressive Disrespect like that gets me so terribly angry that I probably would have told those students to stop disrupting my the learning I am paying for and just ended up getting harassed instead.
Rhiannon Renegade I can't imagine them even going on with classes. All I've seen aside from Philip DeFranco is King 5 said that they shut down campus yesterday because of a threat. Honestly though Washington has a lot of really good colleges aside from Evergreen, hope you found one that suits you!
A liberal arts colleges is just a college with an emphasis on undergraduate study dealing with liberal arts and sciences. But to the point of Evergreen State College, a lot of their credits don't even get transferred because they aren't really known for a level of higher-learning. While some credits may transfer, not all do.
You know Phil, I really love your dimples, they're the best. Especially when you're using them to calmly and precisely destroy another human being. And here I thought all they were good for was telling me when to check out that secret link.
Fucking savage at the end there Phil. Gotta love having someone who is level headed and can see through all the bullshit that's thrown at us on a daily basis. Thank you Phill, thank you for presenting both sides of the arguement and not being overtly biased on these topics. I swear if I ever see you just randomly on the street I'd love to buy you a drink and just chat. Have a great weekend y'all!
I gotta be honest though, when Phil essentially told the guy to go kill himself... that made me tense up quite uncomfortably... :3 I get that the guy's opinion was flawed, but telling what could very well be an insecure teenager who simply mispoke or had a case of "misery loves company" to end his life... that's not really taking the high road :/ I'm just saying, Phil, you are a very influential person and have a lot of "weight" behind your punches because of the community behind you. Maybe it's just my own experiences which have shaped this perspective, but your comment--and the sincerity of it--cut way deeper than what sounded like a common internet douche talking out of his ass.
JustLouIt never I'm about the age of the viewing audience and this is not acceptable. to put it in Phil's words just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right
I'm the age of most of these kids, maybe a bit older. But if there was a video of me screaming in a teacher's face my mother would come to campus and whoop my ass with a wooden spoon. No doubt about that.
It's not ok. Honestly those students should be suspended at least, expelled for the more higher tier offenders and maybe criminal charges for the ring leaders. At the very least, start flunking them until they flunk out. Sounds like they aren't doing their schoolwork anyways.
It became okay when the school decided to not do anything when the students started acting aggressively towards their staff. Which is ridiculous, they have just as much of a responsibility to create a safe environment for their employees as they do for their students. Those students should be expelled and that president (along with any other superiors) should be fired. Security would have been there immediately if it were my school.
As a mid-level RUclipsr, our channel has been hugely affected by the 'adpocalypse'. Without suffering obvious and direct demonetization per video, our content is apparently still eligible to run ads yet revenue has plummeted. It's gotten to a point now where we feel hugely pressured to make certain types of content that will be deemed 'appropriate'.
One of my videos got dinged with this new policy, which doesn't make sense. It was for a Let's Play for a game about peace, and there was no violence, graphic imagery, vulgar speech, or anything controversial in it. I did contest it so hopefully the monetization will come back (as little as it was). It's just so weird that my Cards Against Humanity videos, my other videos with friends, or even my Viscera Cleanup Detail videos weren't dinged. Just a video about a game about peace. (not asking for subs, just sharing my youtube monetization story)
I've noticed that a lot of videos that make no sense to demonetize haven't had adds on them when they should have, even beauty channels where the worst thing a person said was that they didn't like the foundation they tried out that day.
I'd totally register for the Philip DeFranco Common Sense Party. Alternatively titled: Just a normal person, not taking the high or low road, just don't be a dick to each other Party.
If he is a teen then he needs to be told that the comment he made is the stupidest and more asshole-ish thing a person could say about that situation. If it is an adult then they should go die or change their views because they are a Horrible Human being.
Joe Blow the commenter said two people desired to die one deserves to be stabbed. and that two innocent women deserved to be harassed and have no one defend them. further implying the guy that did all this horrible stuff should be the one getting sympathy and be let go. by his own belief system he does not want anyone to defended him. You commuted a crime worthy of being stabbed to death by defending him.
Christian Lampley yeah, fuck those guys who were defending that woman from a guy who was being extremely aggressive towards her, this is all their fault! (fuck yourself)
They didn't defend anything but feelings. If the stabber had been assaulting the women then I would understand. But the probability of the stabber defending himself his very high. And fuck you sgt for putting words in my mouth. I never said this was all their fault. But you don't jump someone for verbally being an asshole. That IS a very white knight thing to do.
@Philip Defranco Thanks for using my comment! I am so happy we are on the same page about child rearing! It's not about being an authoritarian Dictator (Which I was called a lot over my comment), it's about not creating entitled, spoiled brats! Setting boundaries for children IS NEEDED!!! Thanks again Phil - I am a huge fan of yours! Hopefully one day our paths will cross!!
"Drinking the koolaid" is also very common corporate workplace slang for people who believe the corporate message. "We're changing the world and totally not employing Chinese children to make shoes for beans, you guys!"
Rroaj I used to work for a major corporation in their retention department(think cable company) my direct supervisor hated who she worked for but told us all to "drink the koolaid" to accept the job we were doing 😂
As soon as I heard him say "Drink the Kool-Aid", I knew what he meant, but also knew that SOOO many people were not going to take it the right way because of the story he used it in. Like I thought it was obvious enough that Phil would have caught on to that
Considering that's the first time I've ever heard about that, and it's like the 5000th time I've heard about Jones town. I think one is a little more common than the other.
The youtube Adpocalypse could be solved by youtube creating a rating system with categories in it as well. An example of this would be youtubers categorizing their channel as PG, Pg13, etc. and then in those categories having people say whether they are gaming, news, vlogging and so on. this way advertisers can choose if they want their ads on all Pg13 vids or get more specific and say they want them on PG13 gaming videos. This is a simple solution to a problem that has gotten way out od hand. And Advertisers need to realize that their ads have been seen on the same kind of content on TV as well as on other websites that may have the same kind of content they are upset with youtube about.
yasminload63 what about the creators that are mostly pg13 and have the rare occasional R video? should they be forced to take the R section? now a pg13 channel uploads a video and let's say a vlogger, something happens in the background that is not pg13 and they don't notice what would the repercussions be?
DreamOutProud a solution to this would be to give individual videos ratings like PG13 or R instead of the channels. then channels can post the occasional R rated video.
Asa Campbell but there's so many videos uploaded to RUclips that'd be almost impossible to accurately do. Not to mention the criteria that would be used is just as vague and subjective as it is now. There's no perfect way to help the advertisers because there are too many things that could slip through the cracks. I think RUclips has done the right things to try any keep advertisers happy
yasminload63 but in a way that was created when RUclips created RUclips kids. Where everything is family friendly. So what I think is that RUclips should advertise RUclips kids more to parents. Also I think that RUclips should ask for parent permission for anyone that is underage to download the RUclips app. Also I think creating a rating system would be a lot of work and time to create as well as implement.
+Jonathan Maxfield The creator could mark their video as a certain rating, and if it believed that the rating is false (an R video in PG) it could be changed by youtube. Maybe a way to select the rating of multiple videos at once to help with the older videos.
Lol! Phil, that last "Thanks for the comment!" Amount of smugness and sass! Love it! Also, in regards to Trey and your parenting, Jackie Chan has a pretty good model in terms of money and children. In regards to his son, he said "If he is capable, he can make his own money. If he is not, then he will just be wasting my money." Love the show, keep it up!
"Drinking The Kool-Aid" is about as racist as 👌. The irony is in Jonestown there was a Plaque above where Jim Jones spoke that stated "Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it"
Out of nowhere Savage Phil appears at the end of the video! I almost feel bad for the guy who wrote the comment, but then again, sometimes you just gotta shout Don't be Stupid, Stupid! haha love ya Phil and great Friday show
Shut them down by saying to kill themselves, but actually dont because his life is worse alive? Thats not "shutting him down" its doing exactly what Phil literally said not to do... Guy said something phil didnt like, so kill himself? Are you fucking kidding me?
Ainz Ooal Gown There is a difference between blaming the victims of a terrorist attack and telling a garbage person to live in there own misery. One is obscenely offensive and ignorant and the other is well deserved.
The dude was defending a murderer and a racist, and insulting his victims for stepping in to protect the women he was harassing. In Phil's words... "Go fuck yourself."
Phil, I watched you a bit back in 2008 when you were SxEPhil and I was much younger, but I recently rediscovered your channel. In these troubling times, you are one of few who really make sense to me on most issues, and I wish there were more level-headed guys like us. RUclips needs you more than ever, keep it up.
I've been watching your show for many, many years (like backwards hat, SxE Phil days) and it is honestly one of the only new sources I access regularly that I feel very confident in. I just want to say thank you so much for all the work you do and all the love and energy you pour into this show. I know it has been a shitty road but I really believe you and Lindsay and your team are going to do amazing things. Also fuck RUclips Rewind. Love you all 💖💖💖
Phil's comments seemed a little excessive to me, but I can see your point. Some good men died and Phil wasn't going to let someone act like it was all for nothing.
And dumbest. 2 guys lost their lives fighting a crazy person because they wanted to spare the feelings of a few muslim girls. There was no threat of violence until they got involved. Mean words aren't physical violence no matter how much the left repeats it.
Not sure if I've just missed this in every other Friday video or not, but I love the little bar at the bottom with the day and topics! Gettin' classy in here.
Good Answer. I want to make clear that I didn't want to compare the acts from the slavery time with the acts of ww2. Especially since I don't know enough about either. My point was that if we can't hold a grudge against people of a certain race for longer than one generation, that rule should apply equaly to all situations. The people living today are just as incapable of changing the acts of their ancestors even when the grudge is about slavery.
Personally I'm an individualist and I don't believe that anyone should have to answer for anything other people have done. People like to label eachother and put everyone in a group based on race, gender, opinions or whatever, and while I see the point in doing so sometimes, I do not think those labels and groups should be used as a rulebook for a blame game. Especially when you're grouped up with people who just happen to have been born into the same race or gender. It makes a bit more sense when its about something you can choose; like a political opinion or a religion, I guess. So no, I don't think all white people are to blame for the slavery before 1865, in any way.
I am probably the whitest dude you'll ever meet, and I have never advocated for slavery. I've always tried to treat people as equally as possible, and while I sometimes have failed, that's on me not my great grandchildren. I have no problem helping people who need help, for instance giving assistance to minorities in poor areas to get them to a better place. And of course, this extends to people affected by oppression in the past, whether it's slavery, internment camps, native reservations, or the withholding of the right to vote. But I definitely do not personally owe anything to victims of those things, as I have never done them myself. Plus my known ancestors emigrated from Norway and Prussia in like the last century or so, so we never even had anything to do with the slavery in the US.
There isn't really a specific time when racial crimes *should* be forgiven. Depending on the situation as well as how forgiving the groups in question are, the conflict can go on for tens to hundreds of years until the issue is finally forgotten. While it would be ideal to decide on a time for both sides to forgive each other, as long as one or both sides hold a grudge it is simply not possible.
Employment should be based on skills and knoweledge for the job You seek. NOT gender, race, religious believes, sexual orientation or any other whatever "besides to the point" reason. As long as the employee also then leave all that out during the job they carry out as they get employment. What they do in their spare time is up to them. When on the clock and under pay they do what the job description requires unless it breaks the law. There are instances where these things might conflict like a vegan getting a job in slaughter house for example. If however that vegan is Ok with it and carry out their job then they should be allowed. I do however respect if they do not want such a job and should not be forced to take one as that is like telling a pacifist to kill, and enviromentaqlist to work in a chemical plant, a christian to spit on the cross or an atheist to kneel down and pray to God. They should simply get another type of job. Other than that, skill should be the only merit You need or be considered as You apply for- or be accepted for a job. Oh and btw I'm not American, not even English talking as my main language and still I knew that drinking the kool aid is a refference to being such a blind fanatcic that You basically swallow whatever Your extreme believes throw at You. Thus even accepting to drink the kool aid.
When you have a society like America where a significant percentage of the population is hiring discriminately you have to have rules to help those people who are marginalized. That having been said, if safety is at risk, then the most qualified must be hired.
Arturo Amson, while I don't doubt that there are narrow minded biggots that might hire someone based on race or gender before skill as it is now, I really do NOT see how we can say it's morally defendable to institutionalize and make discrimination legal in the form of quotas that have other agendas than to look at skill. Then we are becoming the very thing we claim to dislike and oppose. Then we are acctually allowing it to be legal to hire based on race or gender. It's like saying I don't like murderers so I'll become a murderer myself, as I have better intentions than other murderers with whom I chose to murder. Or I don't like this dictator so I'll make myself the new dictator. We all know how that turns out. No matter how good the initial intentions might have seemed by the new dictator, he usually turns out to become not much different than the old one in the long run and keep himself in power at any cost. Life for the little citizen usually do not become any better (yes I use extreme examples to make a point). Sure there should be rules and laws saying no employer can turn someone down based on race, gender or any reason other than not being skilled enough. If denying anyone employent solely based on race or gender should lead to fines and maybe even loss of license to operate a business. In fact such rules and laws already excist. At least over here. The quota thing however is just another form of discrimination, just disguised as something else. I still say best man or woman of whatever age, race, ethnics etc for the job. Simply based on skill, including education, experience and such of course. Any employer who do not hire the one with best skills is stupid anyway, from a business stand point, as they will not get the best employees and their business will eventually suffer as a result.
Omg I read this and I was like but those people didn't have Internet how were they supposed to know they were gonna get poisoned and I then I realized what you mean, I'm so stupid 😂😂😂
Thank you Phil for explaining that a war isn't equal to the dehumanisation then enslavement of a people. It's crazy that you even had to explain that in the first place but I'm glad you did.
yh WW2 was worse than slavery, Its not the same. Many more innocent people were killed during ww2 than slavery, so yh... they cant really compare. ww2 had slavery and more.
In those 245 years, only about 20 million slaves were estimated to have died/been killed, the lowest being 6 milliong, highest being like 120million. Its been estimated that over 70 million people died during ww2 in just those 6 years, "blink of an eye".
Ainz Ooal Gown that's wrong, Cecil Rhodes killed 10 million in 3 years in fmr. Rhodeisa just on his own then we could bring in King Leopold in the Congo and Otto Bismarck in Uganda then you have over 70 million dead Africans just between those 3. I'm sorry, WWII was horrific just like any loss of life is but this was by far the greatest genocide in terms of death, destruction and reach that the world ever witnessed.
RUclips still haven't addressed the fact that they are not allowing "manual review" of videos of smaller youtubers that they have automatically demonitised, even when video titles and descriptions have been updated - and the content meets advertiser friendly guidelines. Count your lucky stars if you get the yellow dollar symbol, because if you get the greyed out dollar symbol they won't even help you.
Oklahoma Proud surprisingly a lot when I first heard it I didn't even think about it being a Jones town reference and then only realizing when I read the comments lol
As a non-American, I thought immediately 'stereotypes' but thought nothing of it. Like how is that racist in any way? Stereotyping food or appearance is annoying at best, not a thing that warrants a " YOU RACIST!!!" comment.
James Martin , That speaks highly of your personal character, but the very fact that you initially reacted "it took me back a bit" is indicative that social conditioning through propaganda has had the desired effect on you. The rational reaction to a phrase or saying or idiom one is not familiar with should never be to jump immediately to being taken aback by it (unless it has self evident overtones/obviously offensive language).
Ah, Phil. Never catering to a group because it hurts their feeling. This is why you're awesome. Racism is obvious when it does happen. That teacher is not.
Blind Prosopagnosiac Emotions are not all irrational. And no I have never seen Phil in the 2 years I have watched him appoligize for hurting any one's feelings maybe getting a story wrong but never feelings.
One thing that I think is important to note is that often people take a critical look at statements such as "we shouldn't hire for diversity we should hire for skill" as they show an inherent racist bias. In almost every case these hiring policies target people of diverse backgrounds with comparable or superior skill sets to their 'white' counterparts. The assumption that ensuring a hire is a person of colour would also mean that they would be less qualified for the position is racist. This university professor should have known better than to suggest that the university would do anything but hold their diversity hires to the highest possible standard. In this regard (and dear god only in this regard) I agree with the students.
gabby beauche Thats where you're wrong. A white person may be more qualified yes, but so couldn't a person of color. What you are doing is supporting "reverse racism" which is still racism just to a white person. Plus you just called people of color less qualified just because of their skin color. The students are irrational because they cant handle their own emotions. Now before you call me a "racist white pig" or something similar. Im not white, well not white. Only partially about 20%.
Please reread what I wrote, I never said a person of colour is less qualified. In fact I said they could be more qualified, and that to assume that a diverse hire would be less capable than a white person in racist. The majority of positions in these establishments are held by white people, and in order for us to make things more equal, there needs to be a focus on hiring qualified people of diverse backgrounds. These people do exist, and they deserve to be represented and given these jobs. One more point, reverse racism does not exist, what you are talking about is prejudice. www.thoughtco.com/sociology-to-counter-claims-of-reverse-racism-3026067 please read that! I would never call you names as that wouldn't help us in the slightest. I agree that the students handled the situation very poorly, but in regards to the professors stance on the topic of diversity hires, I do agree that he was out of line.
gabby beauche You also realise people of color are called minorities in America for a reason. Its hard to get a school to have even a 25% black staff when we only make up 13% of the country. You have to keep in mind we are called a minority for a reason.
on the college issue. I'm a brown person from an island, I am a US citizen and I've had many job offers and college entrances because I'm an minority and I have turned all of them down. I have gone out of my way to find jobs and colleges that don't practice this push for diversity. I believe that if I am to get a job and get into a college it should be on my own merit and skill. if I'm shorted because someone outclasses me I don't care what that person race, color, religion, etc is. I think that's what is lost on most people my age. too much whining for what they want and not enough of working for it. they want equality of outcome not equality in opportunity.
Kianou Acfalle uhhh...and who are you helping. Nobody, you are just hurting yourself and your future. If you don't agree with it then speak out against it, but right now use it to your advantage. I sure will because I sure will bc I don't have money to just throw into tuition to console my ego.
Kianou Acfalle how do you know you received these things because of the color of your skin? Did they directly tell you? Bc I'm not sure how you'd know if they hadn't come forth and told you it's bc you're brown
Trevor Cooper because that would make him a hypocrite later down the line. If he becomes an influential figure in the world, and preaches about not letting there be unnecessary special treatment, then his argument has no weight if he ever took advantage of that special treatment.
Allison Tamayo yes the colleges I've applied to in the past said that because I was a minority that I would have gotten a "better chance" for admission. to me that's bullshit
I just saw a post by Charisma on Command titled "Philip DeFranco: How To Make People Trust You". I just wanted to say way to go and thank you for becoming you. I have been watching your content for years and have stopped multiple times. I keep coming back because even when you make me mad or offend me. I come around and realize you are awesome. Keep the honesty bar high.
The people to blame: Every person that is overparanoid about white supremacy breaking out again. The world witnessed it once, and in response we try to beat that to the ground while we turn our back on pressing but new issues like every other type of supremacy.
creating that mentality? they perpetuate it for sure, however they didn't create it good sir. the ones who create it are the ones who say "oh you have a problem with the way things are currently run? i don't care that you are upset i am going to ignore all your feelings and call you the problem". that being said those students are not listening to the ones who are trying to listen to them, therefore no change will happen.
It isn't just the social justice groups you have the same shit from the far right as well. you may not see it as much on a college level as the majority of people college aged tend to be more liberal than conservative but you do see it in the older generations. and no im not saying all college aged kids are like this in fact i believe most even though they are liberal dont agree with this shit. most of us who would consider ourselves liberal cant stand this shit.
Ethan S I agree with you, but one of those sides has to win. and I think people like you and phillip defranco are the most important people right. people who are able to stop in the face of chaos, try to see both sides, and then try to help them start the conversation without violence. I try to do it on twitter sometimes, but sometimes I can still get triggered and react first then think later about how I could have handled it better. anyways, thanks for being a moderating voice!
What I'm most concerned about is RUclips's new ad policy requires a lot of context that an automated system will not be able to recognize. Demonizing videos will have to be a human act. With over 300 hours of RUclips videos added every minute, they'll never be able to enforce this without a staff of several thousand people just WATCHING for offensive content.
Just watched this video finally, doing a DeFranco binge. Love the response you have to "Moving Froward" savage Phil, just savage. one reason I've watched your show for so many years.
I find it sad that you had to explain "drinking the kool-aid" because people are lost in their own hurt that they think everything is a racist reference.
I really like how you put that, "lost in their own hurt." I'd change it to self-imposed hurt though. Well said all round, hit the nail on the head, that kinda thing
I think it's just that Jonestown happened 40 years ago and younger people either haven't heard of the event or if they have then maybe not that specific reference, so they simply applied the context they had to work with. I know a lot of people are saying that they should know about it but how would someone know they don't know about something if they don't know about it?
Confron7a7ion7 still goes to Phil's point about thinking and having the information to back up what you're saying. Don't just assume you know what people are talking about or that you know what you are talking about. Do your homework, think before you speak or don't say anything at all. A lot of people need to learn this lesson
I do think that there are a million reasons for that person to not understand the reference but the moment that you take it from something you don't understand or are uncertain about to an accusation like they did, you go from ignorance to stupidity. People need to be held accountable for the information that they spread otherwise the world gets dumber.
Actually, that's immediately what I thought too. Sadly. I heard it a lot as a kid being used against poor kids of any color but mostly toward the African American families. The "yo mama so poor she can't even afford kool-aid" was something people said as a "joke" that simply an insult that made them laugh. When people, like Phil, are dealing with anything racially, politically or religiously charged, it doesn't matter what you say because someone will find it offends them. Even when you're 100% right.
Gotta love how Phillip can call someone who's likely a subscriber a piece of shit without concern. Calling shitheads out regardless of whether you might lose a subscriber shows integrity.
I completely agree with the last statement, all evil needs to succeed is for good people to do nothing. These brave people stood up to evil and unfortunately they did not survive but evil did not succeed and that's also a victory.
God damn it Philly D, I've been following you since 2010 and can say your show is the only show I have consistently followed to present day. Keep up the good work man!
Thanks for another fantastic week!
RUclips is in trouble
waffles!
love you
Philip DeFranco thanks papa DeFranku
daddy
I'm glad I go to a college where the biggest drama is that the contractors on the new science building didn't put in enough electricity outlets in it during construction, so not all students can plug in their laptops in class.
This is a national tragedy.
Damn SJW don't see that as racist. I figured they'd of made up some bullshit about how white people take up excessive outlets.
My only big problem was "oh you moved the main sandwich shop to the other side of the campus."
I don't know how bad New York colleges can get, but goddamn I felt lucky in retrospect.
nice
Phil absolutely destroyed that guy at the end of the video. Well done Phil, well done.
I've been outta college for a month now, and these daily videos are the only reason I still know which day it is
James Burgess I'm in college and feel like a tard. I'm a graduate student. oh yeah, I watch this too.
James Burgess it doesnt get any easier. the days meld into each other.
youtube: "HMMM dead person in the thumbnail?...BANNED"
Logan Paul: 'I saw a dead body in the suicide forest' (with dead person in the thumbnail)
youtube: **puts his video as #1 trending**
i was waiting for this comment lmao
I commented this too
I love Phil's roasts. They're so casual and chill, yet so harsh.
Charles West I agree! And with that epic retail smile too!😀 #PhilBurn 😊
Charles West lmao, poor Moving froward must feel like a dunce.
So glad I stayed to hear the roast of Moving Froward.
Ikr, it was so fucking funny.
Brayden Savage of
So spicy!
Oh fuck, the tone you used when you said "thanks for the comment" was SPOT ON. So good.
2 reasons why I watch Phil
1. News and conversation about opinions and facts
2. His fucking savage responses to idiots on the Internet 😂
Please. Thanks.
Ponyponypony Pony yeah dude you really should stop covering up the jerk off stuff, like we need answers and also can't we get in on it after?
Dou Lee real cute how defensive people get over their purveyor of idiot California propaganda.
Ponyponypony Pony you really don't watch his shoes do you..? You're ignorance is now hilarious
I honestly hope you're just trolling now as I worry for your ability of understanding if not 😂
There should be a 18+ RUclips section. imagine the revenue RUclips could make from ads about sex toys, condoms, erotic books/novels, sex games, etc....
EliMiniTV dude, this isn't pornhub.
The ads don't have to be graphic
They would probably get less and creators on 18+ would get less money too
RUclips red?
Maybe the ads won't be NSFW however they advertise 18+ websites
I always thought 'drinking the Kool-Aid' was a reference to Jonestown and it took me a minute to figure out how people thought that it was referencing toward racism.
Rayne Bailey I'm right there with you, I needed the explanation as to how that would reference anything other than Jim Jones..
Rayne Bailey
I just associate Kool-aid with a brick wall exploding away and the words "OH YEAH!"
They just need to calm down and eat some fried chicken and watermelon. Maybe with a side of purple Kool aid or grape soda.
"I would tell you to kill your self, but I feel like letting you live out your days is a far worse punishment." BOOM roasted!
Phill has yet to show that the so called "terrorist" (TM) was in fact assaulting anyone. Moving Froward was right, In that instance he was probably the one being assaulted. At least thats how most men work... "look some random person is yelling at a women we better go bet him up."
killwize beat and no those three men did the right thing. Unlike you, who would probably stand idly by while teenage girls are being verbally harassed
Dude I'm crying I fucking love Phil 😂😂 when I'm bored I just watch what's in my recommended and Phil in the moment was like the gem of my day 😂😂
"DADDY'S WORDS ARE LAW IN THIS HOUSE"
make a t-shirt on this.😂
duffer Gill yessss!
duffer Gill yes
YES PLEASE ugh but make it say
Daddy Defrancos Words are law in this house
A that is why The Children’s Aid Society was created . For those parents that think/believe they own things .
I'd buy it.
To what end? What tf were they even protesting?
Since you just say 'girls' is it safe to assume they're female supremacy/feminist protagonists?
It's just idiocy, Trump derangement - what possible good could come of walking out of your expensive class to bark at the moon/the President? smdh
"I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked,
dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix,
angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night"
...wish I had been born a part of THAT generation...the real beatniks, with skin in the game and the actual world to win...
Every time you play those clips from that college I want to crawl out of my skin. MAXIMUM CRINGE.
martnRULES seriously! it's painful! I'm making this a test all my friends have to see this. Gay or straight, liberal or conservative, black or white. if you don't cringe after seeing this video we can't be friends.
martnRULES crawling in my skin thesw wounds they will not heal
Its so sad, but there are thousands of people who think that EXACT same way all over the country. Look up The Love Life of an Asian Guy on facebook. Take a look at any post/ comment. Its literally all racist and fucked. The worst part is these people dont even realize they are the exact thing they hate, they masquerade behind virtue to excuse their bigotry.
I literally skip the longer ones. Can not stand listening to it for more than about 4 seconds.
Exactly, I'm black and I hate those students, their creating more racism than their stopping. Just stop, the guy wasn't even a racist, their fighting hate (which is btw non-existent in this case) with hate, which is provoking even more hate. And I also agree with the indie 500 guy, to the blacks (or others) who are blaming white people for stuff than 200 years and only to those sorts (not the entire race), you are shame to our color and you disgust me.
holy crap, phil that last insult was fantastic.
TrueWOPR Bad day?
TrueWOPR dude, he's not mad that the guy had a different opinion. He had a problem with the guy being a crappy person who thinks that people should mind their own business when other HUMAN BEINGS are being harassed and verbally assaulted. He disagrees with shitty selfish people. That's his part of the conversation. You being butt hurt is your part of the conversation.
TrueWOPR i was with you until the last three lines. the fuck dude.
EmBurglar
well said
naah just trying to rile people up. dont bother.
Carlos Miguel they couldn't care less
Yeah I know Alphabet wouldn't give a shit if RUclips fell off. I'm amazed they still keep it going given how low the profits are from RUclips especially with the adpocalypse.
whatever You make videos about sex, explicit content that is clickbait that is antagonizing no duh
That's also due to your channel dying over time :P
But unfortunately, it's not an uncommon occurrence these days to have systems promoting people to achieve 'diversity' in their ranks, which is just asking for failure due to lack of skills.
somewhat agree, there is still an achievement gap which is largely causes by discrimination and slavery. Affirmative action is okay in some cases
I don't always agree but I love how he looks at BOTH sides and he doesn't try to change the story's to fit his narative, he just tells you exactly what happened, gives his opinion and let's us choose our own opinion and asks us why. and he does point out if you have some good points instead of just saying No. amazing how he is not more well known in the world. maybe people wouldn't be so FAR left and FAR right.
ikr?! I probably disagree with Phil about most political issues, but he is my favorite and most trusted source for news, anywhere.
If you would've ended your comment at _'looks'_ , it would've still made sense~
Rolling my eyes that you actually have people angry about your Kool-Aid comment. I work within a large retail store as a third party retailer and on the daily my own boss makes jokes to other employees that seem to be happy for no reason that they "must have drank the Kool-Aid at the morning meeting" and no one is ever offended. Such a snowflake world some people live in!
Thanks for all you do, Phil, I love yo face.
Using the word snowflake without irony makes you sound ignorant. It has nothing to do with snow, and everything to do with being misinformed.
Arturo Amson seriously? The word literally describes people who are hyper sensitive and unable to accept opinions that differ from their own. Who's misinformed here? I'm quite simply a woman who doesn't understand why everyone is always so offended.
Is it bad that I dont know what day of the week it is until Phil posts a video?
Alex Perales it's even worse when you don't live in America so you're a day ahead.
Jack Frost yeah same (from the uk) it's always released really late at around 10ish sometimes 11 or 12 BYE SLEEP
Kennedy Turner yeah, just woke up on this lovely Saturday morning.
Gosh I LOVE it when Phil absolutely ROASTS the ignorant commentors. He goes so hard on them. My one dream is to get roasted by Philip DeFranco. If I just act ignorant in the comment section for 4 days it could happen!
Gino DePolo ART bill I'll keep a eye out for your comments
That's a thing here eh? Maybe everyone is just acting ignorant in the comments just to get a spot in these videos~
go to /r/roastme if you want to get roasted so much
oh yeah phil roast me more uhhhhh
Gino DePolo ART this is exactly how I felt while watching. He's gotten so sassy since he's branched off to doing his own thing! I love it
The black people kool aid thing blows my mind.
Absolutely. There are sadly a large number of people out there who base their self-worth and group identity on what they display offence to.
I've never heard it but I'm pretty stupid so... I guess I should jump off a bridge. Thanks for helping me decide
Don Cheetos do a flip
Hi5 Pickle
Hell, I live in Australia and even I've heard of "don't drink the kool aid"
We do have some really good ones. It was hard to choose, but I did find one that I love.
What is a liberal arts college? Is it like a regular university?
:3 I get that the guy's opinion was flawed, but telling what could very well be an insecure teenager who simply mispoke or had a case of "misery loves company" to end his life... that's not really taking the high road :/
I'm just saying, Phil, you are a very influential person and have a lot of "weight" behind your punches because of the community behind you. Maybe it's just my own experiences which have shaped this perspective, but your comment--and the sincerity of it--cut way deeper than what sounded like a common internet douche talking out of his ass.
9:30 Jonestown was a massacre! It wasn't a mass suicide, it was one suicide and 900+ murders
That's certainly one way to look at it, yeah...
PhillyD that one bro who reads the terms of service for you when its actually important so that you dont have to
I doubt I'm that much older than the viewing audience but when did it become OK to yell and curse at university faculty and staff?
JustLouIt starts young in public schools authority has no meaning anymore
It became okay when the school decided to not do anything when the students started acting aggressively towards their staff. Which is ridiculous, they have just as much of a responsibility to create a safe environment for their employees as they do for their students. Those students should be expelled and that president (along with any other superiors) should be fired. Security would have been there immediately if it were my school.
JESUS CHRIST. Your reply to "Moving Forward" was freaking savage! Well done sir... well done.
What?
As a mid-level RUclipsr, our channel has been hugely affected by the 'adpocalypse'. Without suffering obvious and direct demonetization per video, our content is apparently still eligible to run ads yet revenue has plummeted. It's gotten to a point now where we feel hugely pressured to make certain types of content that will be deemed 'appropriate'.
15:07
I'm dying hahahaha
Fantasy Football Advice good

One of my videos got dinged with this new policy, which doesn't make sense. It was for a Let's Play for a game about peace, and there was no violence, graphic imagery, vulgar speech, or anything controversial in it. I did contest it so hopefully the monetization will come back (as little as it was). It's just so weird that my Cards Against Humanity videos, my other videos with friends, or even my Viscera Cleanup Detail videos weren't dinged. Just a video about a game about peace. (not asking for subs, just sharing my youtube monetization story)
I've noticed that a lot of videos that make no sense to demonetize haven't had adds on them when they should have, even beauty channels where the worst thing a person said was that they didn't like the foundation they tried out that day.
small update, but they approved my video! that was quicker than I had expected.
I'd totally register for the Philip DeFranco Common Sense Party.
Alternatively titled: Just a normal person, not taking the high or low road, just don't be a dick to each other Party.
It's actually called the Libertarian Party ;)
I have a feeling that Defranco is just a level headed Libertarian. Which even though I may disagree, he would very much still be worth watching.
seems like Phil is a bit salty that his employees left early today..
"Living out your days would be a far greater punishment" Ha
My first thought was "Buuuuurrrrrnnnn" Philly D takes no shit when it comes to hateful people.
cujogoodie1 freaking savage, I loved it
Rudolf Raath - Yet perpetuated being a hateful person because "emotions" instead of facts.
That "Moving Forward" comment was disgusting, but hearing your response, Phil, I felt satisfied. Thank you.
It wasn't that disgusting, it is just that liberals like Defranco have their minds so closed that they get triggered easily.
Christian Lampley yeah, fuck those guys who were defending that woman from a guy who was being extremely aggressive towards her, this is all their fault! (fuck yourself)
If you think Phil is a liberal, you probably haven't been following him very long...
Remy Lebeau "liberals like Defranco" LOL, I see I found someone who's new to this
They didn't defend anything but feelings.
Rroaj I think it still applies to the original meaning just used in a corporate environment my guy.
4:04 😂😂😂😂😂 vape nation
ADP VLJ I lost it at that point
+Jonathan Maxfield
The creator could mark their video as a certain rating, and if it believed that the rating is false (an R video in PG) it could be changed by youtube.
Phil, you savage 🖤
Phil getting sassy with people always makes my day! =D
4:03 That vaping baby had me dying 😂😂
Ezra Hercyk do you know the name of the song?
rofl I did not expect that.
I got scared at 3AM watching this at full volume
"Drinking The Kool-Aid" is about as racist as 👌. The irony is in Jonestown there was a Plaque above where Jim Jones spoke that stated "Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it"
And if you look around, everything is a touch morbidly familiar, is it not?
Out of nowhere Savage Phil appears at the end of the video!
I almost feel bad for the guy who wrote the comment, but then again, sometimes you just gotta shout Don't be Stupid, Stupid! haha love ya Phil and great Friday show
Shut them down by saying to kill themselves, but actually dont because his life is worse alive? Thats not "shutting him down" its doing exactly what Phil literally said not to do... Guy said something phil didnt like, so kill himself? Are you fucking kidding me?
The guy literally said in his comment he thinks those two people deserved to be stabbed to death...and you are defending him. O.o
Ainz Ooal Gown There is a difference between blaming the victims of a terrorist attack and telling a garbage person to live in there own misery. One is obscenely offensive and ignorant and the other is well deserved.
Pickle dropping truth hi5
The dude was defending a murderer and a racist, and insulting his victims for stepping in to protect the women he was harassing. In Phil's words... "Go fuck yourself."
Isn't hiring someone based on their race racist?
0rangeade yes
0rangeade welcome to the complicated issue of affirmative action
0rangeade it is racist but their are certain circumstances where it isn't
Daniel Osmond not a bad thing? That's what the white supremacist thought...
only if you hire white
Holy SHIT you roasted the shit out of the last guy! Lmao
Fred Weasly To be fair, when someone is such a clear piece of shit as that guy, it's not exactly not that hard to do.
Thanks for the comment. :)
Damn Phil went savage on that last comment
I wouldn't have helped.
Like a angst teenager when someone has a opinion different than his
caliorangekb then he goes "😁 thanks for the comment!!" Haha
Phil got so sassy
Sxephil dialing up the dankness
I've been watching your show for many, many years (like backwards hat, SxE Phil days) and it is honestly one of the only new sources I access regularly that I feel very confident in. I just want to say thank you so much for all the work you do and all the love and energy you pour into this show. I know it has been a shitty road but I really believe you and Lindsay and your team are going to do amazing things. Also fuck RUclips Rewind.
Love you all 💖💖💖
That roast at the end.... holy shit
OMG PHIL!!!! That was so mean... I'm so proud.
14:37 oh my God this is the meanest and sassiest I think I've ever seen Phil I fucking love it.
Phil's comments seemed a little excessive to me, but I can see your point. Some good men died and Phil wasn't going to let someone act like it was all for nothing.
^ +1
Thought it was harsh at first until I thought about the situation thanks to you
My eyes shied away from the screen for a moment out of embarrassment for whoever wrote that comment..xD
Phil adding "thanks for the comment" at the end had me rollin for a while... :'D
LOL
And dumbest. 2 guys lost their lives fighting a crazy person because they wanted to spare the feelings of a few muslim girls. There was no threat of violence until they got involved. Mean words aren't physical violence no matter how much the left repeats it.
Didn't think this is something I would ever say, but I want a t-shirt with vape nation baby on it!
14:25
that ROAST
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Phil, that reaction on the last comment. You are my spirit animal!
Whoever made that baby vaping clip needs an instant raise!
Not sure if I've just missed this in every other Friday video or not, but I love the little bar at the bottom with the day and topics! Gettin' classy in here.
That guy at the end, the last comment, I almost didn't believe that was possible. How does a person like that even exist?
Jeff Peng to make others laugh at their stupidity
I still don't understand the context of it... I had to re-watch, but I don't know what it was in reference to.
Go look at the replies to Phil's comment on this video, lol; it gets worse.
BarrikadeJT 3 guys were stabbed (2 died) when they tried to defend 2 girls that were being harassed by a guy because one of them was wearing a hijab.
Jeff Peng someone with logic?
RUclips is slowly killing itself...
KamChan me and RUclips have a lot in common
Jess McLean don't die to soon
If those college kids are any indication, the world is killing itself at nearly the same speed.
Yes, but please read about the legacy of slavery and how it IS still effecting people today. That is why people of color still get upset.
Chillpool, Eheh! I see that sarcasm is strong in You. Ilike it !!! :)
Any employer who do not hire the one with best skills is stupid anyway, from a business stand point, as they will not get the best employees and their business will eventually suffer as a result.
lol, Moving Froward got lightly toasted with a side of fries to go with all that salt they're apparently been swallowing for years now.
Moving Froward SHOULD drink the Kool-Aid. I'll buy him the ticket to Jonestown.
I will never stop watching. I've been here for such a long time. Plus it's the best place to get unbiased news.
You want unbiased news go to the KKKs website
The whole Jonestown-Koolaid thing is mind blowing as a whole. I mean, people could've googled it first instead of jumping the gun.
Omg I read this and I was like but those people didn't have Internet how were they supposed to know they were gonna get poisoned and I then I realized what you mean, I'm so stupid 😂😂😂
thepeople'slast Ahhh! It's okay, but you did just make me laugh. 😂😂😂
The two situations really are comparing oranges to apples they are both terrible situations for some overlapping reasons and many different ones.
In those 245 years, only about 20 million slaves were estimated to have died/been killed, the lowest being 6 milliong, highest being like 120million. Its been estimated that over 70 million people died during ww2 in just those 6 years, "blink of an eye".
You are also using "death" as a method of measurement when it is deeper than just a single statistic.
I'm sorry, WWII was horrific just like any loss of life is but this was by far the greatest genocide in terms of death, destruction and reach that the world ever witnessed.
haven't had a single ad on my videos for 2 months since this happened. it's really demotivating. Says my videos are monitized but no ads are showing.
youtube really sucks with their demonization system. It seems so random sometimes.
i have 50k views, says its monetized....yet only some videos have ads
Arbitrary rules and guidelines set up by biased & sensitive people.
Phil hit 'take no prisoners mode' by the end of the video.
14:00 holy shit, Defranco throwing mad 🔥. You go Philly D.
How do people not know that "drinking the kool aid" is a reference to Jonestown?
Oklahoma Proud surprisingly a lot when I first heard it I didn't even think about it being a Jones town reference and then only realizing when I read the comments lol
Oklahoma Proud , The Jonestown event was where the phrase "don't drink the Kool-Aid" came from.
As a non-American, I thought immediately 'stereotypes' but thought nothing of it. Like how is that racist in any way? Stereotyping food or appearance is annoying at best, not a thing that warrants a " YOU RACIST!!!" comment.
Oklahoma Proud I didn't and it took me back a bit when he said that. But instead of pointing fingers, I looked into it
James Martin , That speaks highly of your personal character, but the very fact that you initially reacted "it took me back a bit" is indicative that social conditioning through propaganda has had the desired effect on you.
You're my source of news and I'm glad you are still doing the show. Been watching for years. Keep up the good work...
on the college issue.
So I thought the same thing about the Kool Aid, then I thought about it for a minute before picking up my pitchfork.
Keagan Graham boi
Holy shit, you absolutely destroyed that last person Phil. Good job
All these social justice movements seem more focused on creating an "Us vs Them" mentality than "Everyone together"
Not So Melancholy Now ask who is to blame for that...
15:02 that's a side of phill we haven't seen in a while.
Just here to comment, ok, don't want any trouble That douche deserved it.
Except he wasn't being an edgy teen douchebag, he's just calling a fucking idiot out on his rubbish.
I love *demonitzed Phil*
When RUclips gives you the green light to curse and say "profanities" ...
skillerftwerr lol @ demonitized Phil!
Love it when Phil get's sassy! Wish I was good enough with words to rip into someone like that.
They're appropriating that cult's culture!!!
People need to be held accountable for the information that they spread otherwise the world gets dumber.
i knew as soon as i heard you say koolaid in the video that people were gonna be like HURR KOOLAID IS RACIST
Non-American here, why is Kool-aid racist?
Blue it's a stereotype that black people like kool-aid
the only people who think That is Racist don't know the crazy, Sad scenario behind that phrase that led it to be used the way it is =// :(
Actually, that's immediately what I thought too.
Hahahahahahahhahahahahaha omfg thats hilarious
These Friday shows have been great lately! Really enjoying the format.
holy shit. that last dude just got served up and roasted. Philly D speaking just systematically destroyed that guy.
PHIL YOU SAVAGE YOUR RESPONSE TO THAT LAST COMMENT HOLY HELL
