While I may not agree with everything Pastor Matthew says and we should not agree with everything our Pastors say because firstly, they are human and also we need to think independently, I can tell you for a fact that Pastor Matthew has always been business minded even when he was an unknown Pastor. In KICC he stopped drawing a salary from the church very early and he has invested in simple business projects such as rice, Garri, and now palm oil farming in Nigeria. When the charity commission came against the church in UK, Pastor Matthew's integrity around finances was held intact. Of course, there were some things the church needed to change. I am not here to defend Pastor Matthew but for you to call him a motivational speaker speaking to earn money is not factual.
