LYRICS:
I am unwritten, can't read my mind
I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand
Ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
I break tradition, sometimes my tries
Are outside the line
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes
But I can't live that way
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten

If sunny afternoons were a song, it would be this.
yes a song that says "feel that rain on your skin" would be perfect for a sunny day 😀

That's exactly what I said....I could picture this song as an intro/opening for a 2000's show like Degrassi or even a disney tv show it gave off great energ
@@mikeysbusy haha yeah I see that. For me this song reminds me of the charmed opening

@@kinnunencorp2146hey , this is just me but - it would be really amazing to hear a German version of this song ( by a female German music artist of course )
Me and the quiet homie were driving around yesterday and this song came on the radio... I was singing along, then outta nowhere bro started enthusiastically singing along with me during the chorus and it was a beautiful moment🤣🤣... I've never seen him sing along to a song like that and it was just great
Lol
God bless, thanks for sharing such a memory with total strangers. Hope you're healthy and thriving bro🖖

"Today is where your book begins the rest is still unwritten"
Up to now i still don't know what story i will write on my book..
You aren't supposed to know. You gotta live day to day. Experience life in its rawest form. Love strongly, run blindly and dance in the rain! Our lives are how we live it and our books will write themselves. Make memories, don't let fear control you.
@@fluffy.dilligaf thank you😘
this song will ALWAYS bring chills to my spine, I remember listening to this when I was a kid on the bus and I never even knew the beautiful meaning of this bop! As you get older you understand these lyrics and get goosebumps of how you can truly relate to these beautiful lyrics.
That’s funny because I’m only 9 and I know what they mean I love it
Same I use to listen to this as a kid and just think of sunshine when I heard it, but now really reading and listening it has a different meaning but still love it💖
And I also have to add I'm so thankful we had artists like this to teach us these things subliminally.
@@maggiepowell4872 bro
I remember listening to this song so much as a kid and it’s still great!
I was 7 years old when I heard this song. Now I'm 18 years old. Can't believe how much time has passed...

Fucking felt. I’ll be 18 in may. Shit flies
Such beautiful writing. Beyond clean. Beyond pure. Masterpiece
First time I’ve heard someone refer to a song as “clean”
This gives me such strength to keep going forward on my rainiest of days.
this song brings me so much joy. today, your book begins 💗
It’s sad the kids didn’t know the name of this song .

I only know this song from that white kid that was singing it in a car badly 🤣

The final song to be played on Radio Disney.
I’m sorry what-
@@kinnunencorp2146 yeah, ever noticed no one (including Disney themselves) talk about Radio Disney anymore? Yep, now you do, that’s because Radio Disney was discontinued this past February. This was the last song to be on it, the more you know
@@captainchris817 wow really atleast the played one more last banger
Almost forgot about Natasha Bedingfield. She made the early 2000s so much fun with her songs ❤️🤘
For some reason, this song reminds me of going to the waterpark as a kid in the early/mid 2000s. Nostalgic memories.
This is perfection
Everytime I listen to this I remember the one vine where there's a teen singing to the camera from another car lmao ifkyk

I agree. This song is so uplifting!
If graduation was a song this would be the song
Lmao in my primary graduation we will be singing this
Graduation by Vitamin C is THEE graduation song
The movie "The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants" automatically plays on my mind when I listen to this anthem lol
I remember when I first heared this song when I was 13 , and it takes me back to memories when life was simple
Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield was released not long before Labor Day the same year Hurricane Diana killed over 140 in Eastern Mexico, I'm Your Baby Tonight by Whitney Houston was sent to radio, albums and cassettes; furthermore, the X was replaced with the NC-17 just after Unwritten came out. The ballad by Natasha is uplifting and so really inspiring. The Unwritten song entered radio stations the same exact year people born from January to December 1972 turned eighteen and Beverly Hills 90210 made it's debut on the television.
Who is here after anyone but you?🙏

the people who disliked this song has no taste in music
They mad because where they live it doesn't rain
And have no soul..

this song is totally great, no questions! every feel !
Whenever I lay down at night, I start thinking about some scary things. I don't try to, it just happens. I often think about experiencing death, and it makes me feel anxious because the human brain can't comprehend it, so it really makes me feel uncomfortable. Usually, though, listening to this song and a couple others drives those thoughts away, and I'm incredibly grateful for it 💖
Who's here after Anyone But You?
The hills❤
A song that defined the 2000s
2002 baby here this song will always hit, mi abuelo used to pick me up for work in the truck and this would be on the radio. classic fire. R.i.p abuelo
When I was a junior in high school, my English 3 teacher assigned me a project where I had to pick one of the essential questions and pick a song which answers that question. I even had to do a google slides in which I had to take my own pictures to represent the song I chose. I chose the question about motivation and I chose this song because it just sounds so encouraging motivational to me. I even gave credit to Natasha Bedingfield for using her song in my project. Now I’m in college and this shit still rocks hard. Whenever I listen to this song, it makes me feel like I can do anything. Thanks, Bedingfield!😀
Funny how i still search for this song so my daughter also experience how beautiful songs back then 👌
Whenever I listen to this song, I think of how I'm a songwriter and an author, and how we get to choose ho some of our life goes.
I'll say this; "Some things in life you can't change, but you can change the way you live your life."
Most of the time, I look back at all those written pages in the past, and remember that I can't erase what has been lived, but write what pages are blank. #Unwritten!
This song is my all-time favorite song because it gives me fights tonight on that God is still writing my story
Such a perfect song for a cloudy day...
This is the best Song ever
It's been 16 years and I'm just now finding out she says let the sun ILLUMINATE the words that you cannot find. This whole time I thought she was saying let the sun in the room and name the words that you cannot find. Yeah illuminate makes so much more sense. 😂
