I'm a bit disapointed its low poly snes style instead of n64 style but looks good.
Its neat. Will gift this to a few friends...once it is out. Deffs will not play the demo. I been playing enough rail shooters.

Needs more green. Using just two primary colours most of the time doesn't look right. Also if the explosions were sprites instead of polygons that would look amazing.

So much effort, time and good work wasted just to make a shameless rip off of Starfox instead of doing something original with a good chance of success... So sad, looks good tho.
Don’t really know how it’s wasted time. The person/team that made this must have had a love for Starfox enough to inspire them to use their skills to make a Starfox style game using modern tech and their own unique soundtrack, visuals, and level design. The result is something more responsive and smooth than the Starfox games ever were due to hardware limitations. It’s paying homage to the series.
@@bioshockgamer I see your point but can't agree with you (I respect it anyways), but I wouldn't say is an homage, I'm not hating but I think there is a line between a reference and a clone, and that line is way too far trespassed... Just my opinion.
They did such a good work and I think it would have been a lot better if it was an original production with just a few referencial elements if they wanted to make that homage you mention, but not this almost "mirror patch".
It got the multi aiming missile system which is not from SF.
Also Nintendo burried the IP so I'd welcome any "shameless ripoff".
And people want a game more like Starfox than something that has nothing in common with it (like that Whisker Squadron).
