Hmm, well tbh the most fun parts of Star Fox to me are the extra alternate paths(which contribute MASSIVELY to it's replay value and length), Star Wolf dogfighting sections and the interplay with other pilots(including bosses, Star Fox team and Star WOlf). CHangeups with the gameplay with different vehicles are a bit neat though. This seems to be like a surface level arcade rendition of Star Fox SNES. Unless you forgot to mention any alternate paths the game has, or an all range mode dogfighting section with other pilots? With the 'retro' look it does ape the SNES SF nicely, but doesn't seem to have the mood and atmosphere of the N64 version. Nice review regardless.

Only thing I'd ding the devs for would be the lack of voice acting but that could always be improved in another patch if the game is successful enough to warrant extra investment.
Reading dialogue during a fast paced dogfight is just clunky and disencouraged.

I did take some unnecessary damage as I was trying to read the dialogue at certain points. It's like trying to drive while looking at your phone, not the best idea 😅

The PC requirements have a VERY low barrier to entry, so I'm sure it would run exceedingly well - Anthony

Nintendo doesn't do a game that wouldn't sell well.

Nintendo is lost- many of their major. Internal studios are probably going through contracting issuea right now
