This is the first game I ever supported on early access. This was also the first game I downloaded when I got my new gaming PC. The game I've always wanted. And on a side note, I'm so sick of the same old 2D pixel art inspired indie game, its' refreshing to see some 3D 1990s polygonal inspired graphics. Good stuff.

I think the reason is that it didn’t age well, stylistically it’s nice yes but otherwise it’s primitive, I think that’s also why the N64 era graphics won’t be used

@@itsnanablitz I would agree in theory, but in practice, there's a lot of surprisingly good low-poly art. I've seen online 3D artists replicate the style and make it look really attractive despite it being low-poly. But then again, these artists are replicating the PS1 style of low-poly, not exactly the N64 low-poly models (honestly, the N64 had some ugly graphics despite being the more powerful hardware than PS1).

I have, and while I think it is definitly a good game, I don’t think it’s a good starfox game, not really on rails etc etc

@@itsnanablitz Yeah, Assault was a great conclusion to the franchise's timeline and a second reboot wasn't really necessary.

@@itsnanablitz Well, considering how Breath of the Wild has been the only Starfox Sequel I could see coming from current Nintendo would be a more open world game where you could be on-foot, Starfox Adventure and Assault style, not an on-rail, one hour arcade game.
