I was there a few years ago we dug some but honestly we were able to walk around and all together found a 5 gallon bucket mostly full. The solid ones are cool to cut into slices. Cool place

Your wrong about the smashed geodes and oblong shapes. I've found great mineralization in some of those. Nice blue barite.

The water didn't come from the power washer it's been trapped in there for billions of years.

@@RockHunterMark Mark this is how I see it. You have an entire room full of artifacts. You found them all.
You are the REAL DEAL. Many people show arrowhead rooms.....it is all purchased and full of...well you know. Bad Stuff.
There is NO BAD stuff on your channel. I know from looking at what you have.....you have dedicated your life to this. This place (RUclips)......should 100% be a REWARD for you. You deserve it.

Nice video! Here in Bloomington, IN, geodes are less common in the shale and are found more in the limestone just above it! And not nearly in the quantity there good lord!

The key is to get there right after he opens the geode beds with his track hoe. I was there once after he did that and come away with 8-12 bucketfuls over a 2 day period. It was scorching hot and no one else came on those days. I didn't even have to dig. There's another geode bed before you cross the creek on the right. They are in thick red clay.
