Thank you so much for the video! That little note that you need to pay attention to the color of the filter is so valuable. I bought filter with the black cup And the light was on. After I put sensor from the old lifter to the new one and boom! The yellow light is off. Thank you so much
I know this video is old now, but it saved me, thank you! I have a 2015 X-Trail (aka Rogue in the US) and I had this light so ordered a new filter, fitted it but light was still on. When you said the colour of the sensors had to match, I checked and I'd been sent a black one where I had a white one before. I swapped the sensors over (giving the tips a little clean up as I did) and bingo, light went out! Thank you again!
Thank you so much for this video! I just bought a used 2017 X Trail and the second time I drove it the light came on then went off then came on and off again. So I'm in process of getting this sorted through the dealer. I 'upgraded' from a T30 2010 X Trail and I miss it, didn't give me any problems. But your video has shown me that it isn't a major problem and can be fixed easily. Thank you!
It's fascinating watching your videos, your very knowledgeable about the Qashqai, i'm glad i have exactly the same car as it means everything you do maintenance etc is exactly same for mine when i come to do it.
Thanks so much! I accidentally put the 2 hoses backwords and in my case, that's how the error appeared. Tomorrow I will open it and clean it, the same way you did.
Thank you for this perfekt Video!!! I had the Problem that after changeing fuel filter, the sensor lightnings shows: water inside the Filter. But there wasn't water. The Sensor was defekt and I now use the old (original) sensor with the New fuelfilter (from MANN) and everything work. Thankyou, without your Video I have no chance to change.
I encountered exactly the same issue fitting a new Mann filter to replace the original Nissan filter. I also had to reuse the original sensor. Shame I didn't find this post before the doing the job. The Mann sensor appears to be a different design from the original and therefore is incompatible.
I had the same issue. Apparently there is a difference in the sensors (white/clear top and black top). My old filter top was black, bought the Mann filter WK 9054 as they recommend which is white/clear. Water in fuel light came on. Swapped to old sensor. What a PITA.
Thanks wish id seen this before i changed my filter looks like the origional is in for 6 years from nissan new bosh one water light on all the time bled it like yours but now realise it has the blacktop and not white, so will try and see if the sensor from the nissan will fit the bosch save me some money, be warned was eurocarparts recommended the filter based on registration so need to be carefull ordering.
Have this problem now with a brand new filter, the only difference being that the old one did not have the white viewing window. looking online it looks like I have bought the wrong type of filter?

Very good advice to keep the original sensor! Many thanks!

Lucky you. I had the same problem and did just what you did and the light was still on.

Excellent video👍🏻

You’re a star.
Great video
great video
Thank you
Good, very informative 👍
I did just what you say and the light was still on . What else to do now ?
There is a bulb that you squeeze near the filter to refill the filter
Not on that model it aint its electric fuel pump
I did this and the fuel filter light did go off but now the engine management light is on, any idea why this might be? Thanks
hi, no idea why, ck errors.
Is there any procedure how to reset the FUEL FILTER INDICATOR?
Hi, I have not heard of such a procedure
Have this problem now with a brand new filter, the only difference being that the old one did not have the white viewing window. looking online it looks like I have bought the wrong type of filter?
Hi, Swap the sensors only and check
@@FixYOURride13 I did just that and it fixed the problem, thank you.
