Looks like that wheel should have been listed for any year Panigale or 2018+ Monster 797. Panigale brake rotors stick out ~7.5mm on each side so the rotor mounting surfaces are wider apart. That explains the eyeballed half inch difference overall…Ducati did this first with panigale for better cooling effect of brake rotors, they later applied to some monsters. These wheels seems to be ok for intended bike. Either seller did not list correctly, or maybe the op bought wrong year.
It's easy. The problem is not with the actual quality of the product but a size problem. Basically, all you have to do is contact them with the problem and if they're a serious company, they will fix it. I've had some issues with a Chinese manufacturer which made a mistake and they refund everything, including the shipping. If that company is not serious, then work against them but not everything chinese made is bad. If you used an iPhone, guess what... made in China
that "cup" in the rim as you called it? is nothing to do with stability or strength, its called a drop center rim, its about fitting the tire on, the opposite bead end of the tire you are trying to stretch over the rim lip should be down in that cupped area, see how it moves the tire forward now making if go over the rim easier? the flat rim isn't a drop center or is a semi drop center, there is some room hopefully enough to get a tire on without stretching the bead and ruining it.. you want it cupped or as dropped as that cupped rim, way easier to get your tire on without stretching the bead.. buy some titanium after market rotor bolts fugg duckatti
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or you actually think that a Torx bit would strip out, the guy doing the review doesnt know what hes talking about.
The problem is not with the Chinese, but with the governments and countries that have trade agreements with China that do not favor the final consumer but favor these governments. the international trade should have a tougher hand but no, they are surrendered to the product called easy money, in other words they could accuse marginal bandits in white shirts best regards someone who cares
but ebay offers protections so why would they just keep sending stuff that is clearly going to get refunded fully , i do appreciate this video but it seems some information is missing? alot of chinese stuff is cheeper they cut corners either in the metal or some workmanship but usually it fits .

I didn't know that the torx is design to be stripped when being removed, new knowledge learned!

OEM rim could have been repaired by a shop that does wheel repairs easy
You are supposed to replace the rotor bolts each time.

Soooo......did they refund or give you a rim that fits?

That sucks a lot! You might thinking buying quality, but the truth is it ain't.

Usually very cheap chinese products are like that but you can get cinese made quality products
it's will never stop producing junk all day long and selling it on EBAY
So true!
this is very bad that they send whatever they want and you are paying full price.
