I think you have to pay customs duty for the gold you r carrying...there is no allowance for people visiting on tourist visa ...pls do check with the proper authorities.

I think it applies to all gold that we generally buy here irrespective of the shops. I haven't exchanged. May be sometime I can raise this question to channel viewers 👍
