Tore's comments on the Behringer pedal relationship to the new TC low-cost models is the most honest answer one could expect. "Yes...they are the same circuits with some changes and better housings. *I* made the decisions *I* did this. No one forced me." Bravo.

Tore, your recent move from TC Electronics was a blow to me in that you had been THE driving force implementing new development of the line of TC's line of effects, from rack-mounted units, condensing rack-mounted units to pedalboard stompboxes, and now the unbelievable TC Tone Print technology into TC's product line. It's incredible that this concept was hashed out over perhaps 1-10 too many pints of ale, and you were instrumental in bringing this concept into fruition, and for that you will always have my SINCEREST THANKS!
Your contributions to us mere mortals will hopefully be forever rmembered by the availability of U-tube vidios that offer a glimpse into who you were/are, and the contributions you have made on our behalf.
I wish you well on this new chapter of your life with Universal Audio!
TPS, I have failed to locate an email address for Tore, and I'm hoping that you are able to forward this to him, please?

I love watching you two and I think your both amazing musicians as you are very kind men. I never knew the story about TC nor have I ever seen or knew about Tore's relationship with TC. I think TC makes a great product and sincerely believe they are so successful because they literally listen to their customers needs and wants regarding their pedals. Like i stated I have never seen Tore before and must say he seems like a very nice guy who very much so wants TC to keep moving forward. I could not be happier with all my TC products and would not swap, switch or trade and pedals i own from TC... Thanks guys for making another great product..

The reverse guitar sound on Hendrix' recordings is done by actually reversing the direction of the tape, and recording it normally, and then reversing again, just to get that reversed guitar sound. It was done before delay and reverb pedals were popular. Thank Eddie Kramer for that sound.

In case Tore might think that Dan and Mick's enthusiasm might have been even slightly exaggerated, to make him feel more appreciated, I can assure him we ALL felt that way. As Dan said "MEGA!". this is probably the most innovation I have seen in a very long time. The meshing thing alone is game changing, or at least f-ing huge. The Tone Print technology is the coolest thing I think I've seen in guitar history. I mean there's Kemper but how many of us can afford that? Even if I could, I way prefer Tone Print. I can use the savings to get a better amp :).

Wow, I start watching your videos most Saturday mornings and usually take a few days juggling the day to day stuff; work, kids etc, before I get through an episode. But this week's TPS vid was killer, and I sat through all 100-odd glorious minutes in 2 or 3 sittings yesterday. Tore was the PERFECT guest and my mind is blown after his explanations on how Toneprint works, not to mention the MASH demo. It was a great idea to not play with the pedals before the video too, your faces when things went all MASH... priceless! I guess you guys have seen most of the cool/iconic gear in your time doing TPS so it was great to see the looks of wonder upon hearing (and learning about) some cool new tech like MASH. I have a mini HOF on my small board and an original Flashback on my big board, but I can feel some serious TC-related GAS in the not too distant future! Also, TPS HOF & Flashback toneprints, YES PLEASE! First thing I'll do however, is sort myself out with a TPS tshirt on Monday (payday); Dan & Mick deserve all the support they can get in order to continue to produce quality YouTubage like this - bravo chaps! Oh, and great to see the King Fuzz XL on the board; shout out to Rhys and Bigfoot from a mutual friend in Horsham too :)

Dude when I started watching TC Electronic videos Tore was such a clean-cut pretty boy! Look what a badass he's become haha! Some of my favourite dudes right there! You guys have to keep inviting pedal makers, it's awesome! Keep it up!

What a nice and honest man with good answers for difficult questions. Saving up to get the HOF2 and perhaps the flashback for Xmas based on this video and the one with Danish Pete.

this shows how far you can go with an incredible engineering team and imagination. When I received my TC electronic Alter Ego X4 or 150$ new, I couldnt shake the feeling that I somehow cheated something. You can't argue the sounds and ingenious science behind all this

Bravo for Tore being candid and honest about the TC affordable line of pedals. I have the Forcefield compressor and it's a great pedal!

    TC electronic = Genius!
I'm sure I must have watched this before but I think with all the chat at the beginning I my brain must have switched off. I have some TC electronic pedals, the Flashback is one and I have TC Helicon Voice live 3 which has a digital Flashback pedal inside it but OMG version 2 is crazy good with that expression feature, I thought the only difference between 1 & 2 was it having more memory slots to save 'Tone Print' damn you TC!

I would love to see TC doing tone-print enabled graphic EQ and parametric EQ.

+ Javier Aldan - Indeed. For us EQ challenged folks (me, not you) who could use some help!

Yes! Give me a mini EQ pedal with a rotary selector for stock/TonePrint presets and a stomp button.

    • @Javier-qk7ms
      @Javier-qk7ms 7 лет назад

Besides the On/Off thing I also would love if you keep it pressed (like the mini spark booster) it recalls a second setting for soloing then when you release it it goes back to eq settings for rhythm, at least that is what I need.

knowing that re-housing and tweaking all those behringer pedals was specifically Tore’s idea makes me like them even more. I love that there’s finally a great line of quality, introductory pedals that aren’t made of plastic but are still affordable. ESPECIALLY since boss seems so keen on slapping a “w” after most of their pedal names and re-releasing them for 200 dollars.

Awesome episode! Tore is a cool guy, the banter was excellent. It triggered my G.A.S. and I ended up ordering 4 TC pedals... couldn't be happier.
