Thanks for the clear tutorial, Amanda. RUclips finally tossed your channel into my mix, and it was a happy discovery! I thought I've seen nearly every stitch over the years, but I hadn't seen this one. The results are impressive for such a simple pattern with a one-row repeat. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve made a scarf with this stitch a few years ago when i started crocheting again and I love it! Now I want make a lapghan with the stitch. Thank you so much for the tutorial. I was searching for this tutorial. Happiness and joyful holidays!
This is my favorite stitch now. lol Absolutely beautiful and fun to make. Also, you've done a wonderful job in explaining what to do and how to do it. Thank you for that as well.
This became my favorite stitch instantly. I've made 5 scarfs in this pattern. Thank you for sharing this. I'm usually not a fan of the metallic yarns, but this stitch with the metallic white is absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you so much, for making it easy for me to learn this stitch. I was on several channels but you explained it simple and easy to understand and learn. Now I'm a new subscriber to your channel.
Hello Amanda, I love this stitch! It is so easy and pretty. Your scarf is beautiful; I especially like the metallic yarn you used. Thank you for another great tutorial.
Oh boy you are feeding my addiction for lovely patterns and textures! I bought some Yarn Bee cotton sparkle yarn, started a scarf for granddaughters….looks amazing and soft too! Thank you so much, your tutorials really are wonderful.
I just finished making this scarf. I used orange and blue yarn, changing colors every12 rows. I have a friend that is a huge Mets fan! It came out so nice and was so fun to work up. I loved the pattern. Thank you Amanda. Liz B
I have done blankets scarves and table covers with this stitch for years. I know it as the modified sedge stitch. The only difference between the 2 is that you would doing single and double crochet at the end instead of just one single crochet. Love this stitch!
It’s definitely a fun stitch! I had no idea it was called that. I know lots of crochet stitches have different names. Glad you love this stitch as well!
Hey Amanda I finished your winter wonderland metallic scarf last week, turned out so nice Going to try another solid color for my son he wants a black scarf, any suggestions on a stitch for a manly scarf?
Glad you enjoyed it! For your son's scarf, how about the seed stitch? I don't have a video tutorial of this stitch (yet), but it's a beginner friendly stitch. You just need to know a single crochet and a double crochet. I have the step-by-step instructions on my website: www.amandacrochets.com/how-to-make-the-seed-stitch/
Ok I'll check it out Reason being my son is a Guituritarst has toured all through Europe and he recognizes the importance of recognition so I want him to appreciate this. THANK you
Ever since I first got this pattern, it has become a go-to favorite of mine! I have a lot of the Sparkle White and just got some Red to make Peppermint Sparkles scarves for Christmas gifts! 🙏🏻🤞(as long as I am able)
I’m so happy to hear this has been your go-to pattern! It’s a favorite stitch of mine and have gone back to it many times. I wish you luck in the peppermint sparkle scarves!
That is beautiful, I love your videos you have a pleasant voice and instructions are very clear to understand, thanks for sharing your talent with us 😍
Of course it is lol. I have a separate video for the stitch itself as well as a pattern using that stitch. Look for aqua breeze baby blanket on my channel for the blanket stitch 😊
Yes I do! If you search my videos, you will find a Suzette hat pattern. In the video I demonstrate a baby hat, but I give the instructions on how to make it into an adult size hat as well.
I don’t have a matching hat specifically for this scarf, but I do have a newborn hat using the same stitch (Suzette stitch). I give a hat chart in order to make the hat in an adult size. Hope that helps!
I did not count my rows for this scarf. I kept going until my scarf measured about 60 inches. However you can make your scarf shorter or longer depending on your preference.
I’m sorry you’re having difficulty. I would use stitch markers. After making your first stitch of the row, place a stitch marker in that stitch. After the last stitch of the row, place a stitch marker in that stitch. As you make more rows, you will move your stitch marker up. I hope that helps! 🧶

I really enjoyed your tutorial. How would this stitch work on a hat or a simple ear warmer?
Thank you! For a hat or ear warmer, as long as you keep the stitch count even, it should work up nicely!
I really like this stitch. Do you happen to have a video on a matching Suzette Stitch hat?
No, I don't have a matching hat, but I will keep that on my to do list!
Do u have a tutorial for a hat with the suzette stich but i want a brim on it as well
Yes I do! If you search my videos, you will find a Suzette hat pattern. In the video I demonstrate a baby hat, but I give the instructions on how to make it into an adult size hat as well.
Thanks dear for your perfect pattern 🌸 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 will you tell me this pattern is for men or woman ?
thanks again 🌷🌷🌷
You're very welcome! Depending on which color(s) you choose, you can make this for both a man or a woman.
@@AmandaCrochets Thanks dear 💖 please keep on & learn us how to make shawl 🌸

Thanks!
Is there a hat pattern to go along with this?
I don’t have a matching hat specifically for this scarf, but I do have a newborn hat using the same stitch (Suzette stitch). I give a hat chart in order to make the hat in an adult size. Hope that helps!

how many rows did you make your scarf?
I did not count my rows for this scarf. I kept going until my scarf measured about 60 inches. However you can make your scarf shorter or longer depending on your preference.
I can’t seem to get the ends even no matter how hard I try and watch the video over and over
I’m sorry you’re having difficulty. I would use stitch markers. After making your first stitch of the row, place a stitch marker in that stitch. After the last stitch of the row, place a stitch marker in that stitch. As you make more rows, you will move your stitch marker up. I hope that helps! 🧶
