Compared to the actual games these are based on, these are significantly easier and skills from the original version transfer over so I wouldn't be surprised to see someone totally destroy these games.

I was at an anime convention last year and someone had some vintage handhelds for sale including a game and watch that was falling apart being sold for 50 bucks They were selling beatmania and DDR handhelds for 20
The only way I can play these effectively is by taping them to a table, then using some tape as towel/sudden+ for the harder songs lol. Great video about these interesting games!
I used to own a wonderswan with beatmania. It has this attachment that acts as the spin disc. And it got some songs from the actual beatmania game as well. Pretty neat
these type of handhelds remind me of the thing my parents would get me as a kid since we didn't have the money for a real console. never knew these existed!
does anyone know if there was something like that from like the early 2000-2010s where the music was from nsync pop it had some characters dance on top of a mountain
Nice video, but I have to ask: How did you get yahoo auctions to send to anywhere outside japan? I live in Singapore and i want to get stuff from japan too ;_;

I actually recognized the tracks you played from beatmania. I’m impressed by the quality.
Finally, a first big video about these damn near obscure smol rhythm thingies. Very nice.
Those things look like the kind of stuff I used to own when I was very young, feels nostalgic
Awesome never new about these. Imma gonna buy some of these soon.
