I will never forget the first time I heard Dani back in 2019. I just left my boo house driving down the road and “Easy” came on. That song was a vibe and I instantly became a fan. Sadly she is a colorist and as a black woman, I can no longer support her. I do believe if she would have not made that racist song, had no DUI, etc she would be an A-list celebrity right about now due to her looks and being a vibe.

As someone who is biracial, that is definitely NOT every light-skinned female's mindset. Growing up as a kid, I was a lot darker cuz like most kids, we stayed out til the street lights came on. But not anymore cuz I don't have to stay outside all day. I never thought I was better because of my skin tone, but there were a lot of people on both sides making me feel like I didn't, and STILL don't belong. I was too black for the white kids, and I wasn't black enough for the black kids. I was stuck in the middle, and no one had my back. So what do you when white ppl hate you cuz you're half black or a lot of black people hate you also cuz they see you as part of the problem cuz you're half white? I literally have black people tell me that I can't speak on racism cuz I don't get it, or it's not my place. But I do get it, and it is my place! I've never seen my skin tone as a privilege... that's just who tf I am, I don't know how to be anybody else.

As someone who is biracial, that is definitely NOT every light-skinned female's mindset. Growing up as a kid, I was a lot darker cuz like most kids, we stayed out til the street lights came on. But not anymore cuz I don't have to stay outside all day. I never thought I was better because of my skin tone, but there were a lot of people on both sides making me feel like I didn't, and STILL don't belong. I was too black for the white kids, and I wasn't black enough for the black kids. I was stuck in the middle, and no one had my back. What women like DaniLeigh not understand is, that black women/girls are the main ones who support the black men/boys in the music industry. The same way the white women/girls are the main ones who support the white men/guys in the music industry. And this goes for all ethnicities.
So, when DaniLeigh or any other non-black woman thinks, that she can diss black women and still be with a black men, then some, if not majority of black women will no longer feel attached to the black guy (rapper, R&B musician, etc.). Which he then no longer have the cheering black women/girls as fans. Sure, there will always be some exceptions, but for the most part, if your main audiance are black women, then you will no longer get the same support like at the beginning of your career.
