    I feel that after the incident when she just was a young girl she grew to despise men therefore was able to use them so easily and abandon one for another, also there is her wanting to be the benefactor of female artist when she “retired”. I can’t blame her to be fair she did what she has to survive even with such horrible trauma.

      The thing that bugs me about this is when men are ruthless and treat women badly we don’t judge them. But when women do the same they’re judged.

      After Paris was liberated Parisians rounded up all the women that slept with the Nazis. They shaved their heads publicly and then put them on the back of horse wagons and military vehicles and paraded them through town. It's been done for centuries. You can see video footage of women being punished for sleeping with the Nazis on the internet.

      What I heard about was branding prostitutes in a very visible place to shame them. I feel like that happened during the monarchy era, cutting the hair seems a more civil penalty that branding someone with hot iron. Hair grows after all but this ladies probably were not wealthy enough to afford a wig so indeed still passed shame.
      I always wonder why the ladies were punished and not their clients, if there is no demand for certain service this will cease to exist.

      Mary Magdalena was a working girl and her company was good enough 4 Jesus's but not good enough 4 you I suppose.Such is the pretentious life of a so called religious individual to talk the talk but not walk the walk. Jesus's went where he was most required to heal those who had the most spiritual lessons to learn. God doesn't judge us until the end of our days and yes I am a chosen one so I will be going where he has guided me to go.

    • @toobaaaapi
      @toobaaaapi Год назад +1

      Mary Magdalene was a sinner trying to repent, you saying Jesus had no problem being in her company is an extremely poor choice of words. God's door is open for anyone who repents, no matter how big a sinner, but they should be willing to repent, as long as they don't and consider their ways as correct, there is absolutely nothing pretentious about calling it a sin.

  • @ruthanneseven
    @ruthanneseven Год назад +116

    I love that she supported women in the arts, once she had reached her own goals and wealth. I find her so relatable, as her assault changed her life. She got her revenge so perfectly, by the same sex that had all the rights and power over women. She found their Achilles Heel, massaging it into success for herself. She was no victim! Her later support of women really illustrates her consciousness over such matters. I have to applaud her, and you, for highlighting the use of adversity and injury towards successful resolution. In her shoes, I very likely would have done the same thing.
    You have a marvelous gift for finding such interesting ladies! I would want you to write my story some day, as it has been as though I lived 9 lives, yet no one would know how far reaching the effects have been, nor could they find out.

    I Loved the movie " Cheri " with the exquisite Michelle Pfeiffer. If you are interested in this era it is a must watch. I think it is so important to bring attention to the fact that alot of these women were victims of sexual assault which leads to a lack of sexualising boundaries and more abuse until they heal from the trauma. Before judging these women we need to understand the men who damage these women are vicious predators and are the perpetrators in society.
