Indirect tax is literally 70% plus for middle class families.. My monthly tax is 35 k and yet no proper roads, healthcare, food, security etc.. i am still wondering what's happening to all this money.. most of the people in corporates are paying these heavy taxes and yet not facilities are provided.. while big politicians and businessman are literally giving nothing..

I have paid my personal Income Tax in India for 20+ years all by myself. Now paying same in USA from last 7 years. Based on the experience from both countries I can bet that filing taxes in India is much simpler job then in USA. I heard similar experiences from my friends residing in UK.
We are late but still on right path. It will surely take time but its all worth it
If we have to beat china, we have to do a lot of hardwork....... China is so much ahead of us ..... If china is growing with 3% and india with 6% but in the end, china adds 600 to 700 billion dollars, whereas india 220 ,230 billion dollars in the GDP.....

India,s GST system most complicated comparing to other GST inplemented countries.
Comparing to previous tax regime, its compliance is 3 time easier and its compliance cost is 2 times cheaper.

I have a doubt- if GST is also levied on production of inputs also then how is it called a destination tax (to be levied only on final consumer)?
It's not levied on production of inputs rather levied on purchase of inputs, on which later u can claim tax credit
Because you get Input Tax Credit, in every steps of production process

GST is worst.. I thought that would give state gst to producer state but not for consumer state.. We are killing competition, state which has done hardwork in setting up industries not getting in return
What nonsense is this? The state gets its corporate tax from the industry also people working in their pay direct taxex to the state govt. GST has just made the competetition equal. Why wont the consumer state get its share when product is sold there you are just being anti equal.
You are not Rational one Seeing Only One side of the GST, Such Lage Amendments in the System Requries Time patience and United efforts... Tax enforcement programs or Laws are continous evolving arrangements... We shld look to address its deficiency and Reform it further...
The states that produces more also consumes more.
From were the money to consume comes ? It comes only when you produce.
The consumption per capita in Bangalore is much more than a town in Bihar.
And that can be seen, there is no drop in tax collection of producing states.
True . Most of the tax come from gujrat Maharashtra Karnataka etc in terms of industries but these state don't get the proper proportion of what they give to centre .

Imlementing GST was one of the good decisions taken by the government which expedited the process of paying taxes by the citizens. It not only increased the increase the probabilities in getting higher foreign reserves but to also boost the economy for example if there is a buyer and he is paying 10% tax on an item(bread) and using the same product to bake a cake to sell. When the buyer is selling that cake it would be sold on ₹50 with 10% GST that is ₹55. But the buyer tax on bread will be refunded to him when the cake is sold and now the cake price would be ₹53.9 by using the G.S.T system.
